I called ahead to confirm that Main Line Health Urgent Care in Exton was open and accepting patients. I was told they were and was encouraged to come in. I arrived with nearly an hour remaining before closing, only to be informed at the front desk that they were "at capacity" and would not see me. I politely asked the receptionist to confirm this with the staff, hoping for flexibility. After waiting an additional 20 minutes, a nurse came out and informed me that the PA had declined to see me--without exception. By this time, it was too late to seek care elsewhere. This experience reflects a serious flaw in the clinic's communication system. If a facility is at capacity, callers should be informed before making the effort to travel. Patients deserve accurate, real-time information to make appropriate decisions about where to go for care--not to have their time wasted and needs dismissed at the door. read more

id prefer to give ZERO stars thou not available. this is the worst healthcare I've experienced period!!! I was in for lumbar issue thou never again at Main Liine Health. the care team simply does not CARE!!! i went all day (22 jan 2025) without food basically fasting for surgery later that day which was absolutely fine and acceptable. . before going to surgery i had a discussion with PA Heather on Dr Elliott's team. while speaking with Heather, she mentioned that you (me) had your pain meds at 830am since our discussion was taking place around 837am. i told her no and, im in a lot of pain and would really appreciate (actually need) the pain meds. Heather left & told me she would notify Valerie (RN) to offer meds - well it was nearly 20 minutes later from when i should have received the meds ~0850 am when Valerie finally administered the pain meds which indeed helped. then feeling pain again, i pressed call button - Valerie showed up and said you cannot have anything until almost 100pm . i agreed and Valerie promised me to be return before 100pm... with no concern over my well being it was after 100p when Valerie finally came back to issue meds. a lot of suffering for no reason other than insufficient, poor health care. then i went to surgery, all went well thank God. after i returned from surgery (recovery) to my room at approximately 7pm and fasting all day i was quite hungry. what did Paoli Main Line Hospital offer me for dinner? a vending machine sandwich (cannot make this up, ive included photo and will keep for evidence). the staff stated that the cafeteria closed at 630p. now i don't work at Main Liine Health Paoli Hospital hence id have no idea that the cafeteria closes at 630p thou you "might" imagine (unless the *entire care staff* is new to Main Line Paoli Hospital) that they would know the cafeteria closes at 630p and be somewhat proactive in ordering dinner for a patient they know fasted all day in their hospita bed (4205). here is a photo of the sandwich i did not eat. i would stay away from this substandard health care facility as they removed "CARE" from health-care. read more

BEWARE!!! I highly recommend talking to the billing people here and your insurance prior to any procedures done here. Make sure you know up front how it's billed and why. They will bury text in the forms you are required to sign when you limp in there allowing them to bill you in "their own way," which will cost you hundreds of dollars, regardless of whether they are in your insurance network. Didnt get past registration. Was bounced to other line. Then bounced back to register. Clearly explained. My Appendix either bursted. Or about to. Fever over 104. (I didn't hobble in because I stubbed a toe!) Registration took 20 minutes. E-Signed away. Even though I've been here before and they found my records. Then was told the wait time is severe. Over an hour? Can't tell you. More like a few hours? Slight nod. TWO VERY IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE: * The name: Tower Health Urgent Care must refers to a family name. Could've been Johnny & Sheila Care. The Urgent part is most definitely a family name. And has absolutely nothing to do with urgency. * Triage: If you die while waiting, you obviously lose your priority. You if ain't dead yet, well than it can't be that urgent now, can it! I had what I though was a terrible head cold which turned out to be a sinus infection. I went in at about 10:30 on a Sunday and checked in and was escorted to a room to wait for additional instruction. I believe this was a COVID protocol because of my symptoms. I received a phone call to go over the rest of my symptoms a d paperwork and was then seen by the doctor on call within 30 minutes of checking in. The doctor had great bedside manor and gave me a diagnosis of the sinus infection and prescribed an antibiotic. It was a great overall experience! read more

Took hours to get seen after my appointment time. When I arrived, I was shoved into a room where the woman at the front desk was whispering to her coworker about me. Not a single person knew who was supposed to be seeing me. I was called 3 different times to be "registered" and when someone came in to grab paperwork he also tried to register me. Nobody knew what was going on. When I explained my frustration, the manager came in and explained that if anyone had "Covid symptoms" they were phone screened. Understandable- however, nobody mentioned to me I had what would be considered Covid related symptoms. (I had a sinus infection and a sore throat and fully vaccinated). A student came in, took vitals, said I had a ton of fluid in my ears and was the only saving grace to this place. She was well mannered, wrote down all of my issues and explained what could be the issues and how to find relief. When the doctor finally came in, he had zero bedside manner, yanked at my ears which were in incredible pain, prescribed me an antibiotic "just to make me feel at ease" even though he said what I had was probably viral.. went to pick up my prescriptions and he didn't even call them in. Called back to find out why I couldn't get my prescription and turns out they can't even contact the doctor I saw because he's just an "on call" and doesn't work for them regularly. I was there September 10. Heart issue with chest problem and server illness. Urgent Care is just a name. I called and was informed that there was 2 people ahead of me. I live very close to the "Urgent Care" when I showed up I was told that there was 1person ahead of me and that a room was being cleaned and I would be called, I was ask to wait in my car. I waited 45 minutes. I went in and the person that checked me in was helping another person put in my information. ( I wondered why they were just putting in my information and was told a room just opened up that was cleaned). I was walked back to the room that was "cleaned " to see that the paper on the exam room table has been sat on with imprints and wrinkles. So I ask cleaned? Yes sit and someone will be in soon. Another 45 minutes later a doctor call me to go over things and came in a minute later. Now I am very ill and there 1 1/2 hours. Need X-rays, EKG and Covid test. Then wait for results. Then wait for doctor again. This all moved along, but total time was 3 hours & 2 minutes. Remember, for being the "next person". I have used them for other issues, but this was Horrible. Main Line health Exton keep send email to me said I owned them $314.73 for blood works, my Insurance told me this is routine physical will covered by Insurance 100% but some one in Main Line put wrong code number on paper work so I need to pay for $314.73 I keep called Main Line Billing dept. ( Sandy, Ashley Sfetkoi, Anita) since Feb - May and they told me waiting for Doctor coding Dept. for review. Why took them so long to solve this problem for patient? 3 months already! We were at your Exton Square Mall location at 8:30 & 10:00 Am today. The gentlemen you have working your Valet Service is a true gem. Our return at 10AM was to drop off something. My wife ran in to deliver to your lab. She was in there for 28 minutes. And I have to tell you, this young man from Africa is truly an access to your Exton location. while I was sitting waiting for wifey, I watched him. he opened every non valet "drop off" persons door with a smile. and OMG this one car drives up. this very alert Valet looked at the car and ran inside and got a wheelchair a passenger in that car would need without even being asked. I was impressed. Last monday the 10th, we drove up in our subaru and without being he asked he opened our trunk and got my scooter out. this was only the 2nd time he had seen me. when my wife came out, and I told her how wonderful he is/was. we gave him a Christmas "present" I didn't see many other drivers even attempt to offer. BTW we got to your center before 8am so we didn't utilize his services today. I told him "I am impressed by his work and memory". He proudly answered, " I have to take care of my costumers". This is a disaster and a sham. 1. The nurse practitioner decided that the patient was not sick and did not allow to see the doctor. Further also lied on the visit summary that the patient was seen by doctor. Guess what? Patient is diagnosed for a serious illness by another health care provider. 2. We waited 2.5 hrs with "2 patients ahead of us" .The staff at reception had no clue how long we had to wait. Tells a lot about the systems in place. Wow!!!!! How can this organization be in business? The registration staff was amazing but the Phyisican Assistant was very accusatory and dismissive about my concerns. Rather than attending to concerns of loss of consciousness she kept asking accusatory questions, saying things like "not pointing fingers, but...". She did a physical exam that was thorough but did not address the actual LIFE CONCERNING issues. VERY disappointed in the care. read more

I had blood work done by Dominique Phlebotomy and she was amazing. I hate needles and often faint. She understood my ridiculous fear, and somehow made it completely painless and fast. Accompanied my partner to the urgent care center today searching for help with his severe pain. Being that it is a holiday, his primary care physician was not available. (This is what urgent care is for, no?) The registration staff was great and immediately got him registered. The registrar said we would really like the doctor there today. We only waited a couple of minutes before the Medical Assistant came out to bring him back to an exam room. Again, only a few more minutes til the doctor came in. Well I have to say the registrar was wrong. We did not really like him. The first and most important thing any doctor can do, in my opinion, is listen. He didn't. He read the notes from registration and from his electronic record. He said he couldn't do really do anything, that my partner needs to see his PCP. Yep, we know. Butht it's a holiday so he's closed. And who knows how long it will take to get an appoinment. In the meantime, can you PLEASE help with this pain??? Can you listen for a moment? Can you show a little empathy? Do you care at all? Finally, after what felt like a scolding, he did say he would give a prescription for pain meds. I get that some people use urgent care instead of a PCP. I get that it can be frustrating for a doctor to treat someone like that. But unless you listen, you won't know whether that's what you're dealing with. The only good thing is that we were in and out quickly. And thank goodness we checked the website before we went so we knew they were closing earlier since it's a holiday. read more

Slow slow slow! Waited 3 hours from entering the facility to see a physician (Urgent care. No way)

Visited MLH urgent care in Exton tonight for chest pain and could not be more impressed. I was brought in to an exam room right away as a precaution and Dr. Devine assessed me immediately. I was hooked up to an EKG within minutes by technician Sarah, who had such a pleasant bedside manner that she even made me laugh. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating and Dr. Devine was very thorough with her assessment and her explanations of my symptoms. My whole visit lasted a little over an hour and I left extremely satisfied with how I was cared for. The facility was very clean and efficient and I was so happy I didn't waste hours getting poked and prodded while answering repetitive questions to a team of people in a dirty ER. read more
