I requested an inspection and cleaning on our single stack fireplace and chimney. Jesse took me through Fires Inside Your Home 101, which is important because fires inside of your house. He thoroughly explained parts, procedures and problems to be aware of, but never once did he oversell services. He even took it a step further to remove flammable pieces of molding that had settled in the ash trap - busting out a jigsaw to hack the wood in removable pieces. Above and beyond. We ordered a chimney cap, primarily because we now live in a wildlife preserve and I can only imagine how many birds, squirrels, chipmunks, antelope, dingos, rhinocerii and whatever elses may sneak in to our stack would be gently roasted by our crackling fire. Which, by the way, is inside our house. Which is also where my family lives. WHY DOES THIS NOT FREAK EVERYONE OUT? We scrub a fork that gets dropped for a split second, but we freely set fires in our homes?! I digress. Cap ordered, cap installed around 10 days later, and the whole process was completely painless. Save the very accidental moment our rear gate was not closed tightly and our dog snuck out. But she's a bitch, so... Would definitely work with again. Double check those gates, Jesse!

Ray Isaac agreed to come to the house and told her he'd call her when he was in the area. By 5:30, he had not shown to the house and ignored 4 phone calls from my mother. I called Ray and left a voicemail making a point to sound ditzy & clueless about the entire heating unit and asked for him to call back. The guy called me back within 5 minutes. He even seemed like he was going to come to the house until he asked my address. If he wasn't already unprofessional in that he called back some young girl and ignored his prior scheduled visit, I never expected him to start chastising me and MOCKING my mother's request for service! His response to my telling him my address was "Do you know how insulting it is that you need me to come work on the unit but have had other guys service it since I've been there last. But you need help now?" He then started mimicking the conversation he had with my mother. Professional. I told him that he was unavailable for our last two requests over the past two years and that he couldn't expect us to sit and shiver until his schedule freed up. His response: he works for a living. My advice: We all "work for a living" and given this guys ridiculous behavior, our money is better spent anywhere else. The man had no intention of coming to the house, but left my mother hanging all day expecting him to show to the house. His actions left us without heat for the night.
