Four days later and 4000.00 they still didn't finish the job so she paid them and sent them on their way cause she couldn't afford another 1000.00 dollar day! Slow as molasses and kept running to get supplies on her dime when they knew what they were supposed to be doing they should have been prepared. RIP off!

They failed miserably, they had no way to track who was calling in for service, could not tell me any time frame they could come out. They said they'd call when they got to my town, Scituate. Ten days later, I never received a call, after the 4th time calling them to ask for service, they said they sent someone and they went to the wrong address. They never called to set up an appointment and never called me when they went to the wrong house. I've cancelled my annual service agreement with FD Jones.

I purchased a Generac generator from Dave Jones. The generator is great. F.D. Jones is not. It…read morehas been the worst experience I have ever had with any company. Dave is unresponsive, promised great service and not to worry - gave anything but. Is down to 2 or 3 employees. One is his son and the other if still there is his brother. He can't seem to keep employees. His office staff consists of one person whose answer to everything is, I don't know any of that. Only Dave does. You have to call in the morning. He originally installed the wrong generator. Everything is a battle with him. There is absolutely no value to work with him. I have contacted Generac to advise them. They pride themselves on their product and their service. He has failed them badly.

He has always gone out of his way to make sure things are done the right way. Never had a problem with any of the work he's done.

Ray Isaac agreed to come to the house and told her he'd call her when he was in the area. By 5:30, he had not shown to the house and ignored 4 phone calls from my mother. I called Ray and left a voicemail making a point to sound ditzy & clueless about the entire heating unit and asked for him to call back. The guy called me back within 5 minutes. He even seemed like he was going to come to the house until he asked my address. If he wasn't already unprofessional in that he called back some young girl and ignored his prior scheduled visit, I never expected him to start chastising me and MOCKING my mother's request for service! His response to my telling him my address was "Do you know how insulting it is that you need me to come work on the unit but have had other guys service it since I've been there last. But you need help now?" He then started mimicking the conversation he had with my mother. Professional. I told him that he was unavailable for our last two requests over the past two years and that he couldn't expect us to sit and shiver until his schedule freed up. His response: he works for a living. My advice: We all "work for a living" and given this guys ridiculous behavior, our money is better spent anywhere else. The man had no intention of coming to the house, but left my mother hanging all day expecting him to show to the house. His actions left us without heat for the night.

I called early Wed and spoke with Lorraine to explain I had an emergency...waste water grinder pump…read morewas malfunctioning. Lorraine moved quickly. Todd was out within an hour, pumped out my tank, assessed the situation, and said he needed to call in the electricians. F D Jones Electric was at my home within another hour or so. Jim Jones, Jerry, and Devon repaired/replaced/re-wired my grinder waste water pump yesterday/today. They did a superb job assessing/diagnosing the problem, moved quickly to find the parts and replacement pump needed to get me up/running, and they thoroughly tested the new system before cleaning up and concluding the call. Devon drew the short straw and had the misfortune of being the guy who had to go all the way in to the bottom of the tank to ensure the job was done right. He kept his sense of humor throughout. Jim kept morale high and did a great job supervising, finding the new pump, offering advice/counsel. He's very safety conscious. I was particularly impressed with Jerry. He clearly knows his stuff. Took the time to explain to me how the system worked. Was clever in devising a better setup for the system. Excellent supervisor, himself. Took obvious pride in his work. Meticulous, careful, thoughtful, and efficient. I got the sense he was treating my system/problem/solution as if he was working on his own home. You have a great team! I'll use Barboza and FD Jones again, and will gladly refer you to friends/neighbors. Sincerely, Dan Butler
