I suffered from itching arms for several years . The condition was so severe that it impacted my life to such a degree that I became seriously depressed. The doctor at Mainline Dermatology, assessed and tested me for skin cancer on my first visit and I returned two weeks later and received several Shots in the itching areas and I walked out of the building without the slightest sign of itching . I have not had a re-occurrence of that terrible affliction in 4 months , and I don't expect one . The staff here is friendly, they ask questions and encourage you to answer fully and perhaps most importantly they listen closely and provide feedback. 3 weeks after seeing Dr. Campbell, it was diagnosed by my PCP in under a minute as a Staph skin infection that required antibiotics. If had left untreated it could have spread to the blood, bones and heart leading to sepsis. Thankfully my PCP listened to me and was observant. read more

Office staff was great but this is a review on DR CAMPBELL. "I think she was horrible. She ran an hour late never apologized. She was rushed, she lacks compassion, is condescending, rude and arrogant. She does not listen to a word you say, and she dismisses you. since she's always running late and in a rush, I would never trust her in a skin exam very possible she will miss something, please don't believe the positive reviews because anybody can leave a fake one. Terrible experience with a staff member. In the 20 years I have been a patient I have never missed an appointment until yesterday due to my recording the wrong date. An honest mistake that I'm sure many have made at least once in their life. I was charged $100 for this. The real problem was the unkind, insensitive, staff who showed zero empathy for the situation. The first person I spoke with actually agreed that there was hypocrisy and inconsistency with the office policy and could not explain why so I was transferred to the office manager, Jess. From the moment she started speaking to me she was nasty and aggressive. I am in disbelief that someone in the healthCARE field could treat a patient so disrespectfully. If you schedule an appointment here, make sure that you do not ever get a date wrong , because mistakes are not tolerated and will cost you $100. The receptionists are rude, rushed, and condescending. The doctors are rushed, rude, and dismissive. One of the doctors -- Dr. Seo -- was so rude to my mother that she left her in tears. I've never been so angry. I've been going here for years and now I realize that it's just been out of habit. I need annual skin checks because I had a diagnosis of melanoma. My family and I will be seeking another practice. This office did diagnose my melanoma -- but said that they would remove the mole and send it for biopsy "if I wanted". The doctor said it "doesn't look concerning". Glad I chose to do so before things got much worse. read more

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this practice and don't understand at all why some people have left negative reviews. I have been going here and to the West Chester office for 15 years and have been treated exceptionally well by Dr. Campbell and the staff. I see Dr. Campbell for mole removals and sun exposure related skin issues.... and I find her professional and efficient. I also have gotten several cosmetic procedures where I find her to be conservative and artistic. I rate this practice a 10 overall and wouldn't go anywhere else. Gave them a try even after reading reviews because it was close. Never got to see a doctor because I had to leave after waiting 45 minutes. I had intentionally arrived 45 minutes early to make sure all my paperwork was done as not to delay my appointment. During my wait 1 other person left due to long wait times and 1 person became very angry so they expedited her sick child's visit. Trying another dermatologist with better reviews. read more

I've been a patient here for years and have had good experiences. Dr. Campbell in particular is pretty awesome. She's efficient - at times, hurried - and is very personable. Most importantly she was very proactive in excising a number of atypical moles and I appreciate that level of care from a doctor. As time went on it became impossible to schedule with her as she's the only female dermatologist in the practice meaning she's in especially high demand. That makes sense but begs the question as to why they don't just hire another female doctor. But I digress... I've also seen Dr. Manion and found him to be equally knowledgeable, less hurried, and very polite. The office seems to run smoothly and on the rare occasions I've had an excessive wait, I don't mind as much because they have a great magazine selection. I definitely recommend MLD to anyone in need of a competent, caring dermatologist. read more

They sent my prescription to a parmacy which they have contract with without my permission. It is not a preferred store in my drug plan. I asked them to change and initially they were reluctant to do so. I didn't have this problem last time when I was seen by doctor Damiano. This time it is a CRNP. read more

I found Main Line Dermatology through my insurance provider after finding a skin lesion on my neck. It was removed by Dr Campbell and I returned several times for check ups. While I believe that Dr Campbell is a capable doctor, my check up where done very quickly, no information on my skin condition was ever provided or discussed, when I asked questions, very little information was provided. Like many practices, they have a very full schedule and I always felt rushed which concerned me about the real care I received. It seems to me this practice is more focused on cosmetic dermatology than actual care for skin conditions. I have moved to a new provider and much more satisfied with the care. read more

I have been coming here for years and Dr. Manion was my doctor and although I have no complaints, he had no bedside manner. He left the practice, so I just saw AJ , the CRNP. I can not say enough good things about him. My initial yearly skin check was thorough and he was friendly and personable. Unfortunately, one of the moles that were biopsied came back needing additional removal. I had that appt this past friday and AJ was methodical and discussed options before he went forward with the "surgery". It was refreshing to have him ask my opinion and to see how much he assessed the area and skin to determine the best approach. I will continue to come back to him for sure. read more

I asked three separate people at the office for a quote on a procedure, each time they assured me that since I had insurance it wouldn't be an issue, that it would be coded as a preventative treatment. The procedure was fine, but I received a $200 bill a month later. read more

Dr Barak was friendly an thorough. I am extremely particular about the physicians I see, but I felt quickly at ease. On my first visit, he helped me clear up a vexing issue almost immediately that had proven hard to diagnose previously. I am extremely thankful. read more

HORRIBLE. Saw Dr. Barak in 2011 as a new patient with a few issues including acne. He walks in FIFTEEN minutes late. No apology. Proceeds to spend only TEN minutes, the whole time clearly dying to leave. He did not even look at my face or listen to all the concerns - he didn't even come within a few feet of me. Prescribed antibiotics and was literally walking out the door before I could finish my questions about side effects and other relevant information. WTF, why bother being a doctor if you aren't interested in treating your patients? They charged my insurance company $100 for this crap. He's a jerk. Don't go to him. The office staff sucks as well - when I tried to remedy this, all I got was a "I'm sorry that's your opinion". read more

Completely agree that the front desk staff in general, are rude and not helpful. They talk down to "patients" who are their customers really and should be treating us with respect. I also felt rushed and hurried - in addition, before I could give the OK to remove even more moles (this was after two other appointments within a year where several were removed) - BEFORE I WAS ASKED if this was ok, a needle was in my back in 2 places and I was being told these were getting removed for biopsy. I asked what the reason was - color, size, because both were in hidden areas from the sun on my body - and was not given any direct answer. I will not be returning here again. read more

I had a horrendous experience with the office. They were extremely unhelpful, rude, and just unprofessional. The office was unwilling to work with my health insurance even though it was accepted there. The women at the front desk were condescending and unwilling to help, turning me away at one point. I went back in and had to demand cooperation. A month after I thought it was finally settled, I call the office to ask why my meds haven't arrived and find the perscription was never filled because they sent it to an inactive number. I think that Dr. Campbell is knowledable, proactive and efficient but I will not be going back to her. The reason is because I find her to be too huried and too dismissive of my questions. I understand that doctors are very busy so I get right to the point and consider myself to be a considerate efficient patient. However, I felt like I was really inconveniencing her. Eventhough she saw one mole that may be malignant and she wanted to excise it I was too nervous to have her do it because she was too rushed and also I felt that she was too annoyed with me. She was just too hurried that I didn't trust her. I'm going to make an appoitment somewhere else. In her defense she is the only female doctor there so she is probably overbooked. I think that she could be a very good doctor is she wasn't so rushed. read more

I've come to this office several times before. The wait is usually very long and the doctors are too quick once its your turn. Its a disappointment, especially Dr. Campbell - I walked away with a real sense of "they could care less" - they need to see less patients and practice medicine to help others, not make a buck as fast they can. read more

I am not sure about the Doctor's here but, the office is HORRIBLE. I stood at arm's length, in front of 2 people behind a counter having a conversation for 6 full minutes, I couldn't believe they didn't look up or acknowledge me in any way ! Normally I would call someone on this but, to tell you the truth, I wanted to see how long it would go on if I did not say anything. Finally. I went to the other window this woman was at least, not rude. I had called 10 minutes before for them to put a bottle of Lattese aside for me (they didn't) I also asked the price I was told it was 159.00 for the larger size. I asked if there were any specials and she said "that's it" I said fine I got out my wallet and she says 179.00. I told her to get the lady I spoke to, cause it was supposed to be 159.00, The woman comes out and says" It is 179.00 SO bitchy. I just left, wasting 15 minutes in a line. What a lousy office, will never go back and will tell all who listens !!! read more
