I have used MLD for years and every experience has been top notch. Dr. Campbell, Mary Alice and Ashley are the best.

I had to have a biopsy done and the "bedside manner" was incredible. Having a phobia of doctors has been with me for 45 years now. Shara explained everything to me and they helped comfort me after the procedure when I was almost ready to pass out. They allowed me all the time to recover and get back to my normal self after the procedure. One person got me ice packs as I was dripping with sweat, another worker got me some cold water while the doctor stayed with me. I have been to two other dermatologists before this place and one doctor said she was not concerned with what she saw. That review was documented in another post. The second dermatologist said she did not know what it was and referred me to my PCP. Dermatology partners was the only place that took their time, listened to me and cared for me. A big thank you to the entire staff who were all professional and accommodating to my phobia of doctors. Looking forward to finding out what's going on with my skin after 18 months, 12 prescriptions and two other doctors that did not care enough. Thank you all again and it's a pleasure to take the time and provide my experience with them. Five Star experience.

He answered all of my questions, explained things in clear detail and provided great recommendations for skin care. He's very personable and makes you feel comfortable in the office! Penn medicine has gotten really bad the last few years. I had seen Reena Graff. She was mean as a…read moresnake and eyes so dark and scary I left the appt!. Went another provider and got everything taken care off.Reena Graff wanted me to go to physical therapy. My new doctor laughed at this and prescribed the appropriate pain medications. I will never return to any Penn Medicine especially Valley forge and Radnor apps that are 7 minuts long. These Penn Medicine doctors have been terrible. No nutritional advice after a CDK diagnosis!. Horrible place for care!. O Stars!. A cured patient is a lost customer to these follks!.0 Stars.Dont waste your time or money. Its the money wheel I call it.One doctor sends you to his friend and then to another. Its all about the dirty rotten paper. Please dont contact me!. I never want to come over there.I need surgery on my ulnar nerve because the maintenance person Mr Campbell didn't grind down the rebarb sticking out of the ground on the top floor. A light pole blew over and they left the rusted steel rebarb down in 5 minuts before I made it back to the garage it was gone!. My Attorneys told them don't erase the tapes. My friend in security told me it's all on camera and I have photos of it or they would have denied it. Be careful with these people they have obvious fake reviews with one liners and no picture that why I switched to this Yelp site. They can't pay to take these honest reviews down!.The quality of care here is awful.Even the lab doesn't have Castile soap wipes for urine tests!. This is pertinent to remove any bacteria that could get into the specimens!. The bathrooms are nasty and I always bring rubber gloves!. They treat the employees pretty bad and they not paid great or treated well.If that trolley wasn't there they would have nobody to work!. Most employees I'm friends with dont like working here. The place is huge and you'll have one doctor and nobody's around.A 7 minut appointment isn't enough plus you're just an invoice number to these people. Really impersonal. The portal makes it very hard on patient I refuse to use it.They never answer you back in the 48 buisness hours it's a joke.I called them because I only have use of my right hand and my eyes are blurry from medications. They sent me to the ER 4 times last year. They told me to go after my BP was high and I was treated bad there.I was treated at my local hospital as a frequent flyer and warned them this would happen. Now I'm embarrassed to go to the hospital.I had surgery again this time at Einstein and they were fantastic, caring, empathetic, and explained everything and told my 2 wife's what to do as well!. Praise Allah!.

With my eyes closed shut, Dr Cohen removed both moles and sent them for a biopsy. Even though I followed every direction on how to clean my biopsy sites, it was two days later I started to have severe pain on my abdomen (one of my excision sites). I was unable to bend over or have anyone touch anywhere near my stomach. The next day (day 3 post exc), while the wound was covered, I noticed a three inch red ring forming and the pain became unbearable. I called their office, which was unavailable nor could I leave a message. I dialed their emergency pager and it was out of service. I was terrified and immediately went to an urgent care office. They cultured my wound but it was very clear to the Dr that it was at least a MRSA infection, if not more. I had a fever, had to miss my next day of work and was given two antibiotics to take and directions to clean and disinfect my whole house, my clothes, my bedding, everything. I called Dr Cohen's office (Family Derm of Havertown) the following business day, told them of my problems and the infection and the only thing I was told is that they would notify the Dr. Not a "how are u feeling" "is there something we can do".. Nothing. I received no phone call in return. I emailed the head office of Family Dermatology, no response. I received a phone call from the urgent care center a few days later that my culture showed MRSA and pseudomonas and if my antibiotics were not working I would need to go to the hospital. Another few days passed and I received a phone call from the dermatology office and they read my results and asked me when I wanted to schedule my next appointment. The woman on the phone had no idea who I was, what I called to complain about a few days prior. UNBELIEVABLE!!! I am in shock of how little this office and Dr Cohen could care about what happened to me, even sent me a bill for the little amount my insurance did not pay. I will never go to another Family Dermatology office again and if I could help it, I would stop everyone from going to Dr Cohen.

I have never waited longer than 10 minutes for my appointment and the front desk staff has always been professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating both in person and by phone. The doctors are world class and I refer them at any opportunity and without hesitation. I love this office so much that even after moving an hour away years ago, I still drive back just to have the same care. I am very picky about my medical providers, so none of this is said lightly. I will say this, which does not affect my rating here: When Dr. Ilyas' Montgomery Dermatology became part of Schweiger, calls began being directed to what I assume to be a central call center that handled the volume for the large number of offices in the practice (I believe it's around 7 locations). This was an unfortunate change from the days of direct contact with the office, as my experience after they joined was hit or miss, as some requests/follow up questions never made it to the doctor, whereas that was never the case prior to Schweiger. However, I called today for the first time in a while to see if they accept my new insurance and the call went directly to KOP, which was a pleasant surprise. Hopefully, that is a permanent change.
