Absolutely the worst physician experience in my life. Avoid Dr. Pomakov at all costs…read more In my 68 years, I have interacted with over 100 physicians. Almost all of which have been positive. I have great respect and admiration for physicians. On August 28th 2026, I had an initial appointment with Dr. Pomakov. I found him to be arrogant, dismissive, and uninterested in anything I had to say about my condition and medical issues. His office had obtained my medical information prior to my visit and he said he hadn't reviewed my file. His behavior was so bad and unprofessional that I walked out of the exam room. I had waited over two months to see him. Ironically, he wasn't my first choice at the practice. Unfortunately, the physician I wanted to see had a four month waiting period so I was referred to Pomakov instead. If I could rate him a zero star I would. He is my far the worst physician I've experienced. Good riddance

It took minutes for someone to answer my call to make my appointment back in February, I received detailed instructions well in advance about how to prepare and what to expect prior to and on arrival. There was plenty of available parking and accessible entrance. I barely had time to sit down before being called back for registration. I was greeted by a very pleasant patient care worker who provided detailed instructions for my ride, took my insurance info and got me squared away. I don't think I was in the lobby more than 10 minutes before being escorted by a very cheerful and friendly nurse who took my vitals, gave me ample time to change into my gown. She was very skilled at getting my IV started and calmed my little fears. I then was escorted to the exam room where I again was greeted by warm nurses who were very attentive and explained again what was going to happen, estimated time it would take and how the rest of the day would go. It felt good to have staff ask if it was okay to touch me. I really appreciated that! My doctor arrived quite promptly and went over my history and again explained what to expect. I was not at the facility no more than 3 hours...probably less than that but I was a little out of it but I remember the high quality of care that I received. I did receive my test results very late or very early this morning and the procedure went very well. Outstanding care! No pictures for obvious reasons.

I am sharing my personal experience as a former patient of, Dr. Wnek, so that others can make…read moreinformed decisions about their own care In my experience, my concerns and the findings related to my thyroid nodules were not followed as closely as I believe they should have been. I was later diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer that had spread to my lymph nodes. After reviewing my medical history, I was left with serious questions and concerns about whether suspicious characteristics present in my earlier thyroid imaging should have resulted in additional evaluation or biopsy sooner. I also experienced significant problems with continuity of care at the practice. I later discovered that there were two separate patient records under my name, and I had difficulty obtaining a followup appointment (with phone logs to prove I called to make the appointment and was not allowed). I was ultimately terminated as a patient while I was hospitalized for surgery related to my thyroid cancer. Paula Gorman call me while I was in the hospital after surgery for cancer, which they are part of the care team for. I was alone in pain and on medication and incredibly vulnerable situation and this woman thought this was the best time to call that she was releasing me from the practice. Absolutely zero compassion from this woman or this facility. This experience had a profound impact on my life and required additional treatment and surgery. I am currently pursuing formal complaints so that the appropriate agencies can review the facts and medical records independently. This review reflects my personal experience and my concerns based on my own medical records and treatment history.I encourage anyone seeking thyroid care to review their imaging, ask questions, and seek additional opinions when they have concerns.
