From first point of contact of scheduling my preventive services to leaving, I received the highest…read morequality of care at this facility. It took minutes for someone to answer my call to make my appointment back in February, I received detailed instructions well in advance about how to prepare and what to expect prior to and on arrival. There was plenty of available parking and accessible entrance. I barely had time to sit down before being called back for registration. I was greeted by a very pleasant patient care worker who provided detailed instructions for my ride, took my insurance info and got me squared away. I don't think I was in the lobby more than 10 minutes before being escorted by a very cheerful and friendly nurse who took my vitals, gave me ample time to change into my gown. She was very skilled at getting my IV started and calmed my little fears. I then was escorted to the exam room where I again was greeted by warm nurses who were very attentive and explained again what was going to happen, estimated time it would take and how the rest of the day would go. It felt good to have staff ask if it was okay to touch me. I really appreciated that! My doctor arrived quite promptly and went over my history and again explained what to expect. I was not at the facility no more than 3 hours...probably less than that but I was a little out of it but I remember the high quality of care that I received. I did receive my test results very late or very early this morning and the procedure went very well. Outstanding care! No pictures for obvious reasons.

I never felt nervous or uncomfortable with things happening. With this being my first experience with surgery, I had the usual nervous feeling but I was quickly feeling more comfortable with the bedside manner of all of the staff there. I am a week post op and everything is healing nicely and I feel very confident about the process thanks to the doctors and staff here.

He would rather call you fat and tell you food has calories instead of looking at test results or helping with the reason you come in. He actually told me I was lying (without using that word) when I told him I actually did work out and ate things like fruit. He said women have willpower and losing weight shouldn't be a problem. All of this from a GI doctor who I wasn't even there about my weight. The advice he gave was out of date, not helpful contradicted itself and cruel at times. Avoid this doctor unless you are a skinny male. Then you probably are ok.

Great experience from start to finish…read more Well, as "great" as an invasive intestinal probe can be, I suppose. I'm a complete medical wimp with - I'm embarrassed to admit - vasovagal tendencies (needles sometimes make me pass out). Fortunately, EVERYONE here with whom I dealt was competent, compassionate, informative, and exceedingly personable/friendly. From the check-in person to the nurses (Julie, Stephanie, Lindsay) to the anesthesiologist to Dr. Diaz, my procedure was thoroughly bearable. [Did I mention how utterly soft I am when it comes to all things medical?] Five stars! Full marks! Thank you!

I would give this practice a 0 if that was possible…read more If you are referred to this practice, save yourself time, frustration and possible death if you're really ill and find another practice ASAP. This practice has too many patients and inexperienced, incompetent providers who care nothing about the suffering of the patients. (This does not include Dr. Gregory, but getting an appointment to see her is nearly impossible.) This practice is purely for profit. There are many other competent practices in the area, and if your life is at stake, you will not get the care you need here.

Dr Sohal was great...he left... did not receive any notification...pharmacist called for a new…read morescript for my DAILY NEEDED medication...they denied siting I was not a patient...this is how I found out my Dr was no longer @ practice. Was told they are not accepting patients and i needed to speak with my pcp for a referral. Because they denied me my medication, I've been sick for 2 days...my pcp's wrote a script but because viberzi is expensive its not kept stocked in the pharmacies...meaning i have to go 3 more days without my medicine...what that means is EVERYTIME i eat, i get severe cramps, sweating, and diarrhea with in minutes of my 1st bite...this is not a case of just having the runs...this is UNCONTROLLABLE runs that can last for hours without this medication. Buffalo GI is very unprofessional, and does not do their due diligence to inform patients...there was no notice in the patient portal, Dr Sohal's name and picture still appear on the website. I will be contacting the State's Medical Board & any other place i can find to report this practice.
