You're not dealing with a company, here; you're dealing with people. People who will learn your…read morename and treat you, also, like a person when you walk through the door. Karen and Ed are a delight to deal with. I delivered them my creative in a mad rush only one full day before I needed my postcards to be ready in my grubby little mitt, telling them I knew everybody probably said the same thing but if there was any way, any way at all that they could turn them around really quickly for me, that would be just great... Well, wow. There were a couple of issues with the creative and Karen rang me up to invite me in and talk to Ed, the chap in charge of the machines, to consider the various results that different printing techniques would provide. I went on down, and words like "overprint" and "offset" were said, but the main point was that Ed showed me exactly what the options looked like, *because he had already done a test run of each*. My favourite bit was when, as he explained the difficulties presented by one particular aspect of my design, he said "I know my machine." Well, even if that means "this won't work", that's the kind of thing you want a printer to be able to say. I even started to develop a strange affection towards this strange, headstrong, inky beast of which he spoke. As for the turnaround, I was becoming aware that getting a thousand postcards printed in one day just isn't doable, and I told them that it was absolutely fine, I'd find a way to work around. As I turned to leave, Karen called me back. "Wait! How would a part order do for Friday morning, say half of them, and collect the rest on Monday lunchtime?" OH MY! Yes! Thank you; perfect! And THEN it turned out that they do free morning delivery so I didn't even have to bimble on down there in person again on Monday. I was quoted exactly the price on the website, with no extra for the test runs, awkwardness, super-speed, delivery or their amazing flexibility. Every time I spoke to Karen on the phone it felt more like a chat with a friend. What lovely people to deal with. Every possible problem (all caused by me) they overcame with warmth; they went the extra mile at every stage. Thanks, printyfolks. You rock, and I will be using you again.

Shipped it exactly when scheduled, packed it beautifully, and it arrived on time and in perfect condition, for a very fair price. Along the way, the staff communication was great and always helpful. We were delighted!

Everything started when my father wanted specific bread machine from an online UK supplier that…read moreonly delivers to the UK. We ordered the bread machine and I was in charge of sending it. I stepped in Mail Boxes ETC with my bread machine, I asked the price of packing and sending it and I was happy with the first and only option I was aware of. I asked when the box will reach the destination, the person said Monday/Tuesday. It all sounded suitable, so I fulfilled the form with all the details and paid with credit card for packing and sending it (packing= 10£ sending = 40£) very satisfied in term of pricing. Later on during the week (Wednesday), an email was sent to me with the detail of the shipment and the address was incorrect (the wrong house number) and the email was meant to be sent to the receiver.I contacted Mail Boxes ETC by phone, they checked my address and they assured me that the box will arrive home. Apparently the mistake was only in the email sent content. I also informed him that I was told it will reach the destination by Monday or Tuesday, the person replied it was an approximation and no promises were given. After my experience with Mail Boxes ETC considering the price I would say this company is a good alternative. In term of customer service they were friendly, warm and quite casual yet I would rate it average mainly because they expected me to know about the verity of services Mail Boxes ETC offer and decide on my own. If you are lazy ( like me) and know nothing nor bothered to know much :D with a desperate desire of having your parcel packed and sent while paying a bit more for extra peace of mind in this case, maybe Mail Boxes ETC is not the best option. Try to avoid going to Mail Boxes ETC and expect them to give you a complete tour guide about the different options they offer. Taking the time to find out more details about the different services and condition Mail Boxes ETC offer and decide for yourself can bring better results.

Initially the staff didn't seem that keen to serve me and I had a to wait for someone to even acknowledge my presence. On my return to collect the items the next day I even got some positively hostile looks. Did I interrupt something more important? I was somewhat annoyed to find they hadn't even bothered to put my originals and the copies back into the cardboard tube I had brought and had just wrapped them up in the brown paper I had also brought - not great, especially with the recent rain. This meant that when I left the shop and I lost control of the brown paper wrap, the copies slid out and ended up on the wet ground, which, with them being on tissue thin paper meant they are not in great condition now. If they had only put everything back in the tube I brought. In hindsight I should have done that myself but I just wanted to get out of the place In addition to this, once I got home and checked the scans, one of them is squint with part of the image off the side! I thought these guys were experts in scanning and copying - guess not ... wonder what it is they actually do?
