Needed laundry service while staying at a hotel in Edinburgh. We cannot pay for expensive hotel laundry service, so we walked our laundry to Gorgie Laundrette. Pleasant service, clothes done and folded in a timely manner on lowest heat setting as we requested. Just sixteen pounds for two bags of clothes! What a find! We recommend 100%. read more

I needed a service wash urgently as my own washing machine is awaiting repair & we were running out of clothes ! The service provided by Gorgie Laundrette was excellent - able to drop off & collect same day (if they're not too busy) and for 3 bags it was very good value particularly in comparison to other laundrettes in the vicinity. Do make sure you go to this laundrette and not others nearby. Payment is cash only but that's okay. The gentleman serving was very helpful & friendly and everything was folded back in to my bags & even some of the socks were paired (thank you). This place was my savior when my washing machine packed in between Christmas and New Year. A time of year when repairs do not happen quickly because everyone is too busy eating, drinking and being merry. And quite rightly so! So I hurried in here with a bag full of washing and the nice lady took it off me and told me to come back the next day. When I went back everything was cleaned and folded perfectly. It was like having my mum do my laundry again! I used the launderette a couple of times afterward, and occasionally when I come back from a trip and can't be chewed washing and drying a suitcase of clothes. Every time the clothes come back clean (which is the main thing I guess!) and nicely folded. It is nice to have folded laundry now and again! This place always has bags and bags full of nicely folded laundry, so I guess it is pretty popular and I can see why. read more

Lynn and Willie were great! For whatever reason google maps shows them open till 1900. At 1745 I hired a cab and took off and arrived only to find they close at 1830. Lynn took my clothes in and assured me she would do what she could to assist. I came back at the appointed time and she invited me to visit while my clothes finished, well past 1830.
