Situated in the Newington area of Edinburgh, Euroclean Dry Cleaning is very central and a convenient place to reach. It is just a short walk from the first year halls of residence, Pollock Halls, and so it is a terribly handy place for students to go to get nasty stains out of their clothes. I have been to this store several times over the years to dry clean my jackets and some skirts which can't be put through the wash, and I have received excellent service with every visit. The prices are incredibly reasonable and pretty competitive, with it costing £16 to dry clean 2 suits - what a bargain! Euroclean Dry Cleaning also offer a FREE pick up and delivery service which is handy and you don't have to actually go to the store to get your clothes cleaned. As well as suits and clothes, they also do carpet and curtain cleaning. A great place to go to get your clothes perfectly clean.

My husband put in an expensive velvet dress to the Straiton Edinburgh branch. On checking the dress…read morethe woman pointed out some stains and that the hem was down. My husband agreed these and paid for a dry clean and for the hem to be put up. On getting the dress back there was a clear iron mark on the back of it. On returning it was denied that an iron had been anywhere near the dress. Latterly one of the ladies in the shop admitted that a trainee had worked on the dress but had been closely supervised. The impression my husband got was that they couldn't do anything to help and frankly they couldn't have cared less. Asked that we wait for the woman who took the dress in to be back at work. Given the intransigence experienced, there was no point to that. People in these jobs should care about people having a great service, they don't. Avoid this firm if you can. We certainly won't be back. Disgraceful service.

Any tailoring pretty much!! I came in here in a mad panic one afternoon after realising I had split a seam in my mums Karen Millen dress........sh*t. They could see I was in distress and were so lovely and comforting, and had the dress fixed within the day! I couldn't ask for any better. They also custom make curtains too, which is really useful for Edinburgh. The windows in some of Edinburgh's Newtown are ridiculously big, so they make all the curtains there for you! They have a really good dry cleaning service too. They are Master Tailors!

The msp of this company is the home collection service, and it is a complete shambles. I had issues…read morearranging a collection because they couldn't pick up at convenient times (half 7 to half 8) most nights of the week, but was eventually told by the man on the phone that it would not be picked up before half 8 on a certain day because they had a busy schedule so I would be fine, which I said was perfect because I do not get home from work until 8. I waited, and then called to find out where they were, when they told me that something had obviously gone wrong and that he'd chase it up in the morning. I was rung at an inconveniently early hour in the morning by an irate staff member who said I'd missed the delivery between 7 and half past, continuing that they rarely pick up that late so she didn't know why I'd been told otherwise. She tried to arrange another collection but again would not offer me a time much later than half 5 any day for the next week. I regrettably decided to persevere with the company due to the good reviews online, so tried one of their convenient drop off shops in the neighbourhood. Unfortunately, they took the best part of a week to even pick up from here, and I was informed by the shop that this was the norm by the shopkeeper, who suggested they were regularly very poor at picking items up. This process took two weeks in total, and sadly now the event for which the items were required is tonight, and my suit will not be back for another 5 days. This is not the kind of prompt service I was expecting. I cannot yet comment on the quality of their cleaning service, but if it is near impossible to get your items to them in the first place I question whether it is worth the wait to find out.
