I hired Maid Pro to clean my 700 sq ft apt. When I called Dan, offered me the world. Promised me a 49 point check list as well as extras I had asked for. He told me 4 people would I arrive at my home and clean everything in a few hours. To my surprise only two women showed up. Im sure they are not professional cleaners because even I clean faster then these ladies. They used my mop, my towels, broke a part of my fridge, use abrasive material, and change the settings on my fridge. They only stayed less then the time that was told to me. Did not finish the floors, or the room. But they did charge my card for competed work. Save your money and ask your friends about cleaners. This company is not a good one!! I hired maid pro to come clean my 600 square foot apartment that has absolutely no furniture inside it was completely empty. I had some drywalls redone and new floor molds added. They sent one maid that was at the house for about 3 hours in which I'm pretty sure she just pretended to clean the entire time. From the floors to the fans to the light switches nothing is cleaned, vacuumed or mopped. The 49 checklist was definitely not followed. I mean they did absolutely nothing. I would give 0 stars. Once I brought this up to the owner or manager they sent out another girl and the only thing she did was clean one of the ceiling fans. Mind you there's only two ceiling fans in the 600 square feet. There's nothing pro about this company! All they do is sell you with some speech about cleaning checklist that they follow but they really don't. They're customer service is subpar. The only reason theres good reviews is because the "pros" leave their name so you can post a review and they can get a bonus. Don't be fooled. Of course when they want your business they call you every day but if you try to cancel or make a complaint all of a sudden the phones don't work or they will get back to you. The amount of money they quote you for a cleaning the least they can do is clean but all they do is vacuum a rug and make your bed and charge your card $150. The first time they send me someone who could speak and understand English as I requested it but the second time after being one and half hour late and no response to my messages finally they send someone who could not even understand a word in English. I had requested to send me same person each time. Communication is awful and promises are not kept. On the day of August 27th 2019, the company Maid Pro sent two maids to clean a studio apartment that's 500 SQFT. I manage this property for a client. I hired them because I thought they were professionals. They charged $199 to clean a studio, what can you expect? Two girls came to do the job. The first comment I get from one of them is "I won't be able to clean your bathtub, I don't have the product to remove the stains". I was surprised she said that to me because obviously I hired "PROS" to do a deep cleaning and be able to deal with this sort of things. But of course, I wanted to get it done so I went to the store myself to buy the product. I also hired them to wash the sheets, but...they didn't have the washer detergent, so I had to go and buy that too. Not only that, when I come back with the product instead of one them coming with me to the laundry machine which is in the hallway I had to go myself because none of them would come to even check out where it was located. So I ended putting the duvet cover in the laundry for them and start it. I wonder what would have happened if I wasn't there : / I specified everything in detail that needed to be done, which it shouldn't have been necessary because they are supposed to be PROS but I sensed they weren't experienced. I told them to please clean everything inside the cabinets, to take all the kitchen utensils, silverware, dishes, etc out and put it in the dishwasher and really get in the cabinets which were very dirty. Then I went to the bathroom to check out what the other girl was doing and she had just thrown a bucket of water on the floor, the place was flooding with water. It was really weird..."who does that?" I thought to myself...But I didn't say anything. I just took off and gave them a chance to clean the place up. I have a million other things to deal with. That's why I hired PROS so I wouldn't have to be micromanaging them. The day after I went to check out the work and it was nightmare, the placed even still smelled dirty. The floors where all sticky, the drawers and inside and over the cabinets were still extremely dirty. I found hair and dust everywhere and the bathtub was just like it was before they were there. They didn't even clean the kitchen's countertop and I know for sure because I raised a little fake plant that was on top of it and there was dust under it, and not just a little, dust that had accumulated for a while. So imagine what the inside of the cabinets looked like if they didn't even clean the countertop. It was like absolutely no one cleaned the place. I swear, I think they only put the drinking glasses in the dishwasher, they thru a bucket of water in the bathroom. And that was it! And they didn't even know how to make a bed. They used the duvet cover as sheets and they left the duvet's inside on top. It was mid blowing because it was OBVIOUS that was a duvet cover, it has a huge opening to stick the duvet inside. This is obviously the contrary to what they advertise. Maid Pro advertises that their Maids are extremely well trained. I took a bunch of pictures and complained right away via email and also called. A customer service rep said the owner Carlos was going to call me but he never did. Someone texted (texts uploaded) me a couple of hours later asking for the photos I had taken. I sent them right away and I offered them to come and see how bad it was. And I heard nothing until end of day when this person who didn't even give me his or hers name (when I even asked) tells me that they don't do refunds, that they would provide me with the service again. Which service?? I declined because I don't have time to waist. It takes me almost an hour to get to this apartment and I was not going to give them another chance to ruin my day and waste my time. If it would have been a little thing here and there ok, but IT WAS A TRUE DISASTER. Sincerely, I thought that after I complained they would have automatically given me my money back right away and apologize. That's what I would have done, if it was my business. read more

We've been using this service for months now out of convenience, and every time they come I say I am going to cancel. Today I finally will. They send a different person each week so there is no consistency. I either spend 5 minutes explaining what needs to be done, or the trash doesn't even get taken out... I seriously cannot believe they didn't even take the trash out today! The work is always sub par. Just sick of it. And customer service is incredibly poor as well. read more

When I called they couldn't reschedule me for two weeks and wouldn't make a price concession. SCAM. I never write reviews, but do not give this company your money, they are SCAMMERS. 2 cleaners came into my house and PRETENDED to clean for 2 hours. I was so upset I called customer service and spoke to Renaldy, he sent a "supervisor" to see what was wrong, the supervisor came and walked through a few rooms said "I don't need to see more this is bad." Renaldy then promised me someone will come right away to clean the whole house again. 2 days later a woman came alone to clean, after 1.5 hours she started complaining to me that she just finished cleaning a big house and she can't finish the job, apparently MaidPro didn't tell her the correct amount of rooms my home had, so she left. I called Renaldy AGAIN and he started claiming that the second cleaning was "just to clean what was wrong in the photos". Liars, scammers, and most importantly WASTED SO MUCH OF MY TIME. They won't even agree to give me my money back, now I am left with a dirty house, and 5+ of my hours wasted. Nothing is PRO about this company, all scam. By the way, they charge an extra fee for the first cleaning because it's supposed to be "deeper" as it is their first time in your home. Do yourself a favor and put your money elsewhere. read more

This company is 100% a mess and truly just a bad find. I'm updating my previous review based on the disgusting text message exchange I just had with them. I also want to mention that this is for their Miami Beach cleaners, and if you climb through reviews, you'll see the low rated comments pertain to Miami Beach. Perhaps a different story in Miami proper. I've had 5 cleanings total, and a $25 discount for the 1st, 3rd, and 5th, which they constantly hassle me about and don't want to honor. My first two cleanings were pretty bad - I spent an hour and a half Re-cleaning my home after the first clean and sent photos of huge clumps of fur, both bathrooms unwashed, tables untouched, etc. They promised a better clean the next time around, though no refund, discount, etc, and the second clean was better, but mediocre. Then came cleaner, Elena, who I just absolutely loved! Hard working, always changed up her schedule last minute, but I would always accommodate because she was 1. Lovely and 2. Very hardworking. After two cleanings with her, rather than MaidPro tell me that she quit, they kept saying she had a doctor appointment and they needed to send someone else. I declined for that week, was traveling the following, so I just kept my usual time for the two weeks following that. Arrival time that we always schedule is 8:30am-9am, so when it was close to 10am, I text to make sure Elena was actually coming. They told me she was no longer with them, but they were sending someone else. My first session with my client that day was noon, so I told them to cancel because there wasn't enough time and whyyyy not give a head's up about Elena?!?! There were two girls who showed up at 10am or a few minutes after, and I had them call their boss because they were just much too late. They promised me that with two girls it would be quick, EXCEPT: One girl was training on her first day. Not only was this not faster, but everything was soooo slow and random, as the girl just stood their watching. As the time passed and it was 11:50, I told them they had to pack up and go, but one of the girls said she didn't understand me, and they literally lingered with my door open in the hallway until 12:15pm. My client was thankfully super cool with the delay, but even with the extra few minutes, my floors were super dirty, the carpets weren't vacuumed, etc. The one girl teaching did a good job in the time she had, but honestly, this was just another messed up MaidPro experience, and they clearly have no consideration for time, boundaries, or standards of cleaning. With that said, I didn't make a big deal about this, though I told them to take me off the schedule moving forward, and that would be that. Today, they are claiming I paid $10 short and want to charge my card (I pay in cash). Whoever I spoke to clearly didn't read up on the time they were actually in my apartment, plus the $25 off. I actually paid exactly what was owed plus tip, that I'm sure the girls won't ever receive. Not only was MaidPro unwilling to look into their mistake, but they kept texting me over and over with attitude - how wrong I am, even about the arrival time, length of service, etc, with zero professionalism. And suddenly, when I said to have their boss call me, complete change of tone and they wish me well in finding a new company! There is nothing consistent here; Not with the maids, not with the timing or days scheduled, not with the quality of work, and you absolutely cannot trust a damn thing that is being text to you - NOT EVEN YOUR CARD ON FILE!!! Because I pay in cash, they consistently double charged me with card payment too, and it took several cleans to get them to stop doing this. As a business owner myself, I have super high standards for quality and professionalism, which have never been met by MaidPro, except the 2 cleanings with Elena. Never, ever disrespect your customers, show up on time, and if there is an issue, make sure you do your research before confronting a customer. Today could have easily been avoided, including loss of business and bad review. read more

This review is for the 3135 SW 3rd Avenue, Miami, FL 33129 location. If I could give zero stars I would give zero stars. This location is awful. They rarely arrive on time, never provide timely notification of lateness and randomly cancel appointments the day of the appointment. I have dealt with rude individuals who handle answering the phone and when they do not like a response they hang up instead of admitting they are mistaken. In addition, they never itemize their bills so it is very difficult to have complete visibility into their billing practices. I have to email numerous times to receive a bill and then it is an argument to come to an agreement regarding how much time the Pro spent cleaning. I would only recommend this service if you want to be overcharged, want to feel disrespected and do not care if the Pro shows up on time or at all. I will never use this company again. read more
