I hired Maidpro for a move-out clean. It was estimated by Maidpro at 3 cleaners for 3 hours, a total of 9 hours of cleaning for $629. Not cheap, but not unreasonable for a move-out cleaning of a 3900 SF home. After about 3 hours, two of the cleaners scattered leaving the third to apologize for what an incredibly bad job they'd done. The house was so poorly cleaned, I hired a 2nd vendor to come in and actually clean the house that night. The buyer inspection was the next day. Maidpro is a sub-standard house cleaning company. I've used services in the past and this company is by far the absolute worst. I was honest about that when they solicited feedback. Yet, no one contacted me to discuss the problem. They just wanted to get paid. The job they did was so bad, I offered them a chance to avoid my reviewing them online if they agreed not to charge me, especially given that I had to hire replacement cleaners. They still insisted that I pay some portion of the $629 they wanted for the job. Rather than getting into a long back and forth with them, I paid them $200 and here I am warning any and all who will listen that Maidpro is the absolute worst cleaning company and did a completely piss-poor job of a move-out cleaning on my house. They should be ashamed for calling themselves house cleaners. DON'T USE MAIDPRO!!!! read more

Just got home from work to the absolute worst cleaning service I've ever seen, they half assed all the cleaning, toilet left dirty, floors left unvacuumed, didn't even touch one bedroom as bed was left unmade, kitchen sink was left dirty, I could go on and on. Worst service ever!!! I've had many problems with them before such as losing my house key! Major security risk, what happens if someone finds it and breaks in now? I never write reviews like I have only done this 2-3 times in my life but I highly do not recommend this company ever! their cleaning services are horrendously awful. :( read more

This is our first time using MaidPro. Erin and MaryAnn did a good job. I think that the kitchen counters could have used a couple more swipes. And the corners of the kitchen floor near the stove still had crumbs. Edges of stovetop needed a bit more elbow grease. Other than that, I am pleased with the cleaning that was done and the cleaners were very nice and professional. I had cleared off a lot of my knick knacks (I have a LOT) but they still very carefully dusted other areas too. read more

Let me preface this with: I have a ridiculously high standard of clean. I redeemed a discounted offer through the mail. The first clean was good, some areas for improvement like the sliding door tracts, but overall, they did a decent job. The second clean was severely less impressive. I submitted feedback that they didn't secure trash bags, smears on the chrome, and the bathrooms could have been deep cleaned better. They offered a re-clean, I declined because I'd already done what they missed, but asked them to do better the next time. 3rd time, I couldn't even tell someone had been there other than the carpet was vacuumed upstairs, and my perfumes were moved from one side of the dresser to the other. They didn't even bother with the trash emptying, I called and cancelled. I'm a mother of 3, if I have 2 hours of uninterrupted cleaning, like they do, I can guarantee my results would be considerably greater. read more

Inconsistent cleaners. Sometimes they were fine and others they were spectacularly bad. The owners are in another state and do not seem to have a lot of oversight on what happens in this (Des Moines) market. Trust issues with some of the cleaners also became a problem. We gave them several chances and it just did not work out. There are better services out there that take more care, are reliable, trustworthy, etc. Cleaning services exist to reduce stress not add to it. I have been using MaidPro for around 18 months. Early on I had a few small issues with the people cleaning my home - things like not cleaning under the kitchen bar, not doing a good job on the hard wood floors, etc. The manager was quick to respond and assigned a more experienced agent that paid attention to detail and did an excellent job. She recently left their employ and I was assigned a new agent. Cathy is doing a great job! She is thorough, personable and professional. Everything is clean and it's so nice not to have to do it myself. She also accommodates my small dog when I'm not home. read more

A year ago my wife passed away. I was obviously dealing with a lot, especially a 14 yr old son, after a few months of failing to maintain everything I decided I needed help.
