I wish I could give them zero stars due to not only their horrible service but also their treatment of me. I am writing this update because the owner took it upon herself to write a highly unprofessional "rebuttal" to my review. I'm going to address each point so you can get the information you need to make the decision to never hire Sherri Ruppert Cleaning LLC. First, she complains in her rebuttal that it "is difficult" to clean a house that is "dirty." Uhm... that is literally why I hired a cleaning company. That is the job of a cleaning company, to clean houses that are dirty. That's why I paid her for eight months, every two weeks, during which time, no one ever said anything to me about my house being "too dirty." My house has the general amount of dirt that gathers in two weeks from two people and two cats, no more, no less. They happily took my money and in the beginning, did a fine job. They slid downhill gradually and over the final months, they stopped doing many of the agreed upon tasks. Every time, my husband would carefully declutter the entire house in preparation for their arrival, except for ONE day when we forgot they were coming. That is the day most referenced in the rebuttal. On that day, I called the office manager and explained we forgot, and asked them to do extra maid services including DECLUTTERING, throwing away trash like the cat food cans she mentions, organizing, loading dirty dishes, and washing some pots and pans, etc. I asked them to go through the huge window in my living room because they were locked out. To all of this, they said YES. They agreed to do all the requested items, including dealing with the clutter and trash. In exchange, they charged me a lot of extra money, which I was initially fine with. Sherri finds it neccessary to talk about how we throw our toilet paper into the bathroom trash can instead of flushing it. This is due to our township having been built over 100 years ago. The pipes underground are extremely small, and flushing anything, including toilet paper, causes the toilet to overflow. Since we have stopped flushing the toilet paper we have not had any overflows. I was instructed to do this by my plumber, and ironically, by my previous cleaning person, who also lives in my township. Sherri claims her staff was "in tears" due to the "condition" of my home and calls my home a "health hazard" due to the "clutter," and the bathroom trash can. Really? For eight months, the house was carefully decluttered before they arrived, except for the one day we hired them to do the extra work. I guess they were crying about the house that particular day, and about the bathroom trash can. I am interested to know what items they find in other customers' bathroom trash cans. Do they have customers who have babies, and have used diapers in the trash can? How about used sanitary products? Have they ever cleaned an elderly person's home and found adult diapers in the trash? Do they have customers with small children who throw up occasionally? Do they cry every time they go to empty the bathroom trash and there are unsavory items in the trash can? I guess not. I guess all of their other "over 130 happy customers" only have rose petals filling their bathroom trash cans at all times. And by the way, I clearly explained to the staff on numerous occasions the practice of throwing away the toilet paper, and why, and for nearly eight months they were fine with it. Also, just as a note, moderate "clutter" does not cause a health hazard. Another lie that the Sherri Ruppert Cleaning staff made up was that the dishes in the sink I hired them to wash were "moldy." They were not moldy. It was the remains of a green smoothie I had made. So let's recap the reasons not to hire Sherri Ruppert Cleaning LLC. 1. They do a bad job cleaning. 2. They don't honor appointment times. 3. They break things and don't offer to pay for them. 4. They judge how you live and what's in your trash can. 3. They make up lies about your home being a health hazard, and post those lies online. 4. They literally cry and complain that your house is "dirty," even though they're a company whose job it is to clean. Sherri Ruppert Cleaning LLC refuses to take any responsibility for their poor performance. They cleaned my house for eight months, every two weeks, so how can my house be a "health hazard?" I am attaching a photo I just took of my dining room in between cleanings in its normal state, so you can judge for yourself if it looks so terrible as to be a health hazard. Finally, imagine going to a doctor, and leaving a bad review due to poor service, and the doctor comes online and says "you have no idea how hard it is to treat someone who is so sick" and then describes your health condition on Yelp. How would that reflect on the doctor? It's the very height of unprofessionalism and completely shameful.

Last thing I will add is that when we were misinformed by the agency of an upcoming rental, she was able to send in her crew last minute, later for us to find out we had no tenants. Since her crew was rushed, a couple spots on the carpet were missed.
