Getting ready to put our family home on the market we hired this company. After losing our mom suddenly (and grandmother 8 days later) we had a huge estate/yard sale and frankly were too exhausted to do a "sale ready" cleaning. The house was largely empty save for a few staging pieces of furniture. I was told they don't clean windows or wash walls (which was fine) but that they would clean windowsills. I was also told they would clean appliances, wipe walls and sweep/cobweb the partially finished basement. They arrived on time. Didn't speak English. I mostly left them alone and was doing paperwork in another room. I specifically requested they start in the one carpeted room as we also had the carpet cleaner come in. I had to ask them 4 times to please do that room first. They had most of their own cleaning products but had to use some of ours. Accidentally turned knob on gas stove and couldn't figure out how to turn it back off. Did a great job upstairs overall including appliances but did a fair to mediocre job on the windowsills. Left sone windows open and several sills were missed that I had to point out. Got billed for 6 hours and they were there for less than 4. They left as did I. The next time we went over in preparation for a showing, we did a walkthrough and realized THEY NEVER TOUCHED THE BASEMENT. It was the one thing we specifically requested. When addressed with the office manager she said there was nothing they could do except offer a coupon discount towards our next cleaning. I wouldn't not recommend this company, despite the cheap rates. You get what you pay for I guess and even then we didn't. read more

I have used them before having company a couple of times a year for the last couple of years, and they do a good job of cleaning. They send in two people who work as a team and they are efficient and friendly vacuuming the house, and cleaning the bathrooms and washing the kitchen floor. I have hardwood floors and don't want water on them, and I have to remind them not to mop them, but I've never had complaints. Refinishing our floors left our 4000 square foot house in need of major cleaning. Two MaidPro workers came in at 1 and left at 5 and all areas were sparkling. They were efficient and hardworking. For the amount and quality of work they did, the cost was reasonable. They brought in their own supplies and equipment. My husband was there the entire time doing other jobs, and he was impressed with how much was done so well. read more

I used Maidpro 3 times Their cleaners are good; I speak Spanish so no language problem. I gave the ladies a list of jobs and we went over them before they started. The issue we have is they left earlier than our allotted time; they did not finish the job. I was told by Amy at Maidpro Cape Cod, the ladies would return and finish up. She said although our time was 9-11, that meant they would arrive between 9-11 not that they would work 2 hours? That is different from our two earlier times when we booked Maidpro. Amy stated they were supposed to leave when the job was done; the job was not done.Then Amy called back to say they would not return and were not supposed anyway to wipe out a refrigerator and or range. She indicated that we were told this on the phone and that the phone calls are recorded. We asked for the recording to show that they are inaccurate. If you use Maidpro, get everything in writing and get your job done properly OR go to a better rated company. read more

Let me preface this review by saying that I have never gone online and written any negative reviews of restaurants, stores, etc. However, MaidPro in W. Yarmouth, compelled me to set aside 20 minutes of my evening tonight to write a review. The experience from start to finish was unprofessional and dishonest. I was given a gift certificate as a Mother's Day gift for a 3-hour clean or in my case two women (90 minutes each,) arrived at my home and I reviewed what I would like to get done, then I headed out to run some errands. When I arrived home to give the cleaners a tip, they were already gone. I looked at my home surveillance, which showed the ladies left after an hour and 5 minutes. Essentially 50 minutes before they should have. As I looked around the house, I was very disappointed to see fingerprints on my slider and windows, dust on mantel, dust on baseboard. The bathrooms tubs were not washed at all. My home is typically very clean so I was hoping a dusting of window sills and details that a mother of three can't typically keep up with would have been done. When I called, I spoke with a manger named Michelle. She was not very helpful, instead said that she would speak with the ladies but that I should have stayed at the house to direct them. Michelle was able to review an electronic note that said that they felt the house was clean and there wasn't anything else to do. So just to reiterate, she is suggesting that a homeowner stay at the house in order to micromanage their staff. And if you leave, it's your fault when you get ripped off. I have three children 6 and under. There was nothing to do in my house? Any person hiring a cleaning company is attempting to utilize their own time in a different way. She also said that she would check the gps to confirm what I was saying was correct and if so she'd give me 10 minutes, I corrected her and said at two ladies it's almost a full hour, 50 minutes. Fast forward about an hour later she called back and said that the GPS did confirm that the ladies left early and that they would come back the following day. This is where the unprofessionalism took a disappointing turn, one of the women came to the door and stated 'I guess I'm here to reclean your bathroom.' I immediately felt uncomfortable and politely said no, I wrote a list per the request of Michelle. The cleaner said that she thought she was there to re-clean, which quite frankly she should have been because the bathrooms tubs were literally never cleaned at all which was evident with soap bar marks, shampoo spots. As she reviewed the list, she started to tell me what she was not going to do because she already had. She told me that she was not going to dust above the picture frames because she already did that. As she was standing there, I put my hand over the picture frame which was covered in dust as my finger went across. She said she missed one, and said she would not vacuum as she already did. At this point, I asked the woman if she would rather leave, that I could call the company and ask for a refund because she was extremely rude and clearly did not want to be there. She then said no and apologized and said that she would start cleaning. What she did clean, I do not know. However it was a complete waste of money (even as a gift) and an awful experience for a busy mother of three. I felt uncomfortable in my own home, in the future I will use a local small business that takes pride in the work that they do. read more

This was a terrible experience. I hired Maid Pro to do a deep cleaning of both bathrooms and my stove/oven as I was getting my house ready to put on the market. They arrived with no supplies, two of them spending 2 hours ( 4 hours total) and honestly, except for the oven, I had to do it all myself after they left. They didn't scrub anything, didn't wash the bathroom floors, the vent in the bathroom was left very dirty, etc etc....I arrived home and gave them each 10 dollars for tips before seeing their "work." 155 dollars for nothing! This was the first time I had used them , and I was very impressed they called on Friday to give me a time frame for Monday and arrived in the window, very efficient, mopped all the floors, dusted, vacuumed, even talked to our crazy dog. I would highly recommend them to anyone who asked, much better than our previous cleaning crew who needed at least 15 days notice to put you on the calendar. I would call this business: ....."Maid Un-Pro" We contracted with them to do a general house cleaning in a small 2 bedroom ranch for my daughters Baby shower. As usual, we treated workers in our home as "Guests". We were told they were sending the "A" team to clean our house after some shuffling around. Our home is ready and surfaces cleared to make their job more efficient. We paid $200 to be disappointed, almost electrocuted and to have the finish on our $2800 Samsung Refrigerator destroyed!! See for yourself: Although on first look all seemed to be OK, we were asked when their car was packed up..."What do you think we are done". With a quick glance, we said, "looks good" and tipped them $40. They were here maybe 90 minutes. You might say we were stupid to tip them at a rate of $13 an hour each (perhaps more money than their hourly wage). Simply put, it's the way my wife Sharon and I treat guests in our home. On closer look, our refrigerator was cosmetically compromised forever, dust Bunnies jumped out everywhere, reachable overhead fans were not cleaned and I was within a scant hair of my DEATH...!! Drama...NO. Ten minutes after they left, I went into our master bathroom to shower and the "lighting sconces" did not go on when I flicked on the switch. I reached in one bulb and twisted it and no light came on. I reached in the other sconce, cut my finger and pulled it out bleeding! When I looked in the top of the sconce, the top of the bulb head was cracked off and the lighting filament was fully exposed.....!!! Yes, if I had touched the exposed filament wires, I would have been severely electrocuted as the power to the fixture was turned on. Forget me, what about my wife! I called Maid-UnPro the next day to no satisfaction as 24 hours had now passed...This is beyond unacceptable as the severity of electrocution has lifelong ramifications yet alone death. I called MaidPro national headquarters and obtained the name of the "Franchise Owner" . I called......"FRANK LAGRECA" and left a very professional message and to no avail and no caring. I have never received a message back from this absentee business owner and have to simply assume he just does not give a damn about his business and most importantly, the safety of his trusting Clients.....I am now considering whether or not to call his Franchise partner....."JOHN CAHILL". I will use the assumption, that he is as involved and has the same depth of caring as his partner above, "FRANK LAGRECA!!" At this point, I have to be thankful that for whatever reason, I did not nor my wife....Touch the light bulb filament when I was within a hair of it (perhaps the hand of God guided me). I have never in my life posted a review for anything...!! And, please remember, this is not a review as it is a WARNING FOR YOUR PERSONAL SAFETY!! Just awful, charged me $133 for an hour and a half and sent one person with an attitude! Wouldn't mind the $ if they cleaned. Toothpaste behind bathroom sinks never wiped clean. Never vacuumed two upstairs bedrooms nor dusted (a bug was still on a dresser). Never vacuumed or moved rug in downstairs bath. I had to wipe down downstairs vanity top. Didn't wipe down behind coffee maker or soup dispenser in kitchen. Never, never use Maid Pro. read more

Actual cleaners were great, worked hard, and quickly. The price was absurd, $270 for 2 cleaners for 2 hours, which comes to $67/per person/per hour. They did a pretty surface job, despite being scheduled for a deep clean, and there was certainly more to clean but they had other houses to clean and moved on. Regardless, we truly weren't unhappy with the women who cleaned, just the completely unprofessional main office. They scheduled the clean and refused to even consider that $67 dollars an hour is crazy. I live in Cambridge, MA were the cost of living is MUCH higher and we pay our cleaner $30/hr. Despite having hard working cleaning staff the management is entirely unprofessional and I would not use them again. read more

DO NOT USE!!! Maid Pro of West Yarmouth!!HORRIBLE, cleaning company. A one rating is not even bad enough for this company. DO NOT hire them if you want a "clean" home. I paid $400 for a move-in clean, only to have to call three times to have them come back and clean cobwebs under counter in kitchen and in corners, dirt on the floors, cobwebs in corners, dead spiders, mold in refrigerator, and I paid extra to have that cleaned! Also, mold on top of showers, I paid extra for kitchen cabinet and there was spilled, dried juice outside and insides weren't even cleaned! Dirt in most cabinets with stains that I had to clean up. Each time the girls came back they stayed all of 5 minutes and couldn't wait to rush back out. They were late the first day, supposed to arrive at 8:30 and got there at 10. Cleaned 1800 square feet in 1 1/2 hours. Just surface clean. When I reached out to The manager Michelle, I shared photos of the lack of cleaning. She sent the same girls back!! When I used napkin to wipe my floor it was black! They used water to clean it! Nothing else. Expected me to provide cleaner. Frank the owner finally responded, to tell me to use "merry maids ". Nice referral Frank! He also said it has been a month and that I have lived in the house that is why it's dirty! I had girls comeback same day of cleaning!! It has also been a month because it is a second home and I haven't been back since first week! But Frank talked over me on the phone, refused to listen to my concerns!! So I told him where to go! I am a paying customer who is so aggravated by lack of services. What happen to do doing a good job! This company clearly doesn't have that motto! Just collect money and who cares what service they deliver! They got their money so their good! Don't waste your money on this horrible, horrible company, You WILL regret it. read more

It would be nice if once someone came out to inspect the work that is done on the house. They forget to dust, or vacuum or clean the floor. I have tried this company many times hoping I would find a nice fully cleaned house but I don't. They rush in and out of the house in less then an hour, how to do they expect it to be fully clean? The women on the other end of the phone is always so rude when I call to explain what they missed. When I cancelled the service she wouldn't even let finish explaining why I was cancelling. Terrible customer service! I am very unhappy with the job. Their response was that I checked the job before the women left and told them they did well and gave them a tip. I told her it was after they left that I noticed everything not done and the scratches all over my stainless frig. The "manager" I spoke with was extremely rude and did not feel as though she was at all concerned with customer satisfaction. A take the $$ and run attitude!!
