Such good food; I think my favorite is the Butter Chicken. The only thing that could make this place better would be them replacing styrofoam takeout containers with recyclable plastic... or, even better, something compostable. Anyways, highly recommend! read more

Don't go here anymore they don't even pretend to give you the food you ordered. There was a different crew of old men here. I ordered lamb korma which should have a creamy tomato sauce base but they gave me a butter sauce base and just added seasoning. They are either going out or the people in charge are on vacation. Also they closed before the time so I believe they are on their way out also the lamb was not tender as it probably was not marinated as called for in the dish read more

Butter chicken portion was super small for $15. They ran out of rice pudding so they tried to give me some little balls in syrup as a replacement. They looked old and the containers were stuck together so i just passed on them. I just ended up loosing the $6 for the two rice puddings I had ordered. The guy tried to make me pay $33 dollars for my food that I had already payed for online. I'll just go somewhere else for Indian food from now on. read more

Amazing as always. Mahek has the best curry in the area, hands down. Absolutely phenomenal, I will never be eating curry anywhere else ever again. read more

Fantastic place for Indian food! This place is carry-out only! But the food is fantastic! Very fresh and tasty! I highly recommend!!

The hygiene in the place is terrible. Walked in one day this summer to try the place out and it surely doesn't look like a kitchen I want my food cooked in. In addition, the cook had on an apron and when he turn his back to me his azz was hanging out the back of it. Who does that !! Not for me! read more

Literally got home and the lid from the butter chicken was off due to putting it in too hot and spilled all over my car, my purse, me....the bag also had a hole in it at the bottom. This was an expensive experience since the entire dish was wasted. I have only eaten the naan with onion and cilantro and a bit too salty for my taste. It smelled good, I am very disappointed that a carry out place doesn't package the food more securely or realize plastic will melt/morph due to high heat temperature. He was right though (chicken I have not yet eaten because I was an entire mess and had to clean my car as I was waiting for my dogs to be groomed), the dogs loved the smell and immediately wanted in the front seat. Thank goodness for canine seatbelts. 5 stars for the smell, however, not for the lifetime of my car or clothes and purse. read more

Good food never have had a bad meal just wish they had a few more vegetarian options otherwise no complaints

Doesn't look like much on the outside, or the inside for that matter, however the food that comes from the kitchen is absolutely delicious. I am so glad I listened to reviews about trying this place, the butter chicken was the best I've ever had, the rice was fluffy and a perfect compliment to the butter chicken, and the garlic naan was so good. I can't wait to go back. read more

Mahek Indo Eatery - Hair in my butter chicken ... - Indian Near Me - New Boston, Michigan

Fabulous carry out. Service was great. The food was great & the price was good. Well worth the drive.

Absolutely blown away authentic Northern Indian Food. Location corner of King n Middlebelt two big signs take out only. So many great reviews around the web Google and Yelp got me to visit. First of many visits the owner had a place on Ford road with Buffet for a couple decades. Actually we visited that place a couple times always a full house at lunch time. Open going on 3 years has hundreds of regular customers since the food is marvelous and prices low. A mega deal Tandoori Chicken with Garlic Naan medium spicy only $12.50 had 7 big pcs Chicken Thighs n Leg's. All those places in Dearborn charge around 20 bucks for this dish. Wife had fantastic Butter Chicken with Rice $13 bucks another winner. See menu has all prices for Shrimp, Chicken, Lamb and Vegetarian dish's. Got a couple desserts all house made Yummy. See photo of owner on left and head chef, such friendly folks Happy to help you. #mahekindian #indianfood #tandoorichicken #butterchicken #naan #lowprices #newbostonmichigan #downriverfriendseat read more

Our friends raved about Mahek, and we kept asking, "but it's in New Boston?" It just seemed an unusual spot for Indian food, but I am so glad it is where it is! There is a serious lack of Indian food in this area so we were excited to try it. We called in our orders for Lamb Vindaloo, Saag Paneer, Butter Chicken and Paneer Masala with a side of garlic naan and side of cheese and onion naan. It was around $59 with tip. It was ready in about 20 minutes and the owner was welcoming and even explained why and how he is in New Boston. Plus, I was impressed as he took the time to describe a dish to someone less familiar with Indian dishes. He was patient and informative. The ride to our friends' home was torture as it smelled fantastic. The smell was only trumped by the taste. We shared our dishes so we could get a taste of everything. All were wonderful, but the lamb vindaloo and butter chicken were the stars for me. I can't recommend Mahek's enough. read more

My daughter and I popped in after leaving a riding lesson- tired and hungry! The guys were super nice and we ordered some butter chicken, different types of naan, and samosas. They were quick and friendly. We got home- and my daughter barely left me any butter chicken!!! She LOVED IT! she's a super picky eater but will eat butter chicken when I make my version. So, figured I'd give it a try and see how she did with a restaurant version. She loved it! She asked if we can order food from there more often. Most definitely! read more

Order the Paneer Masala with rice. Very tasty. Rice was perfect. Ordered hot; could have used more spice, but this did not detract from the flavor of the food. I would get food from Here again. Friendly. read more

Ordered DoorDash from here. The buttered chicken was really good. Rice was excellent. Samosas were perfect. The garlic naan was VERY heavy on the garlic. I had to scrape off a good amount before I could eat it but other than that--the meal was excellent. Arrived hot. Delicious flavors. Everything was cooked perfectly. Will definitely be returning to try chicken tikka masala next (and more buttered chicken)! read more

Downgrading the starts. They're inconsistent in when they're opening and answering the phone.

Decent indian grubs. Their samosas and cheese naan are topnotch. I had ordered here for mutilple times. I would suggest them to introduce authentic biryani in their. That would be a great add on. read more

Wonderful Indian food with many vegetarian choices. Fabulous naan also in different choices. Fast service and super friendly staff. Both hubby and I highly recommend this place. He's a seasoned Indian foodie. I'm a novice and prefer less spice and heat. Don't be fooled by the outside. They're strictly carry out. read more

Best Indian cuisine you'll ever eat. I love the veggie korma, veggie samosas and mango lassi, but everything I've tried there is amazing. I believe the owner also takes the orders and cooks the food (from scratch) so may need to be a lil patient during lunch hour. It's worth it read more

Mahek Indo Eatery - Tandoori Chicken, Butter Chicken, Saag Paneer - Indian Near Me - New Boston, Michigan

I stopped in about a year ago since I'm not out that way often. Cheese Naan with Masala. The owner was eating his lunch and asked me if I liked spicy and I said sure. He brought me a paper plate and shared his lunch with me! It was like a Naan pizza but not on the menu. Absolutely amazing! Very nice owners! read more

This place is carry-out only. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with the amazing aroma of Indian cuisine. The butter chicken was flavorful, high-quality and comforting. Rice was excellent. Saag paneer and vegetable samosas were also very flavorful and loved the dipping sauces. Menu prices are reasonable too. Definitely check this place out, you will not regret it! read more

Have gotten food from Makek on multiple ocasions. It has always been wonderful!

Today was the first time I got lunch from this place. It will NOT be the last time! Oh my gosh...the butter chicken was awesome! And the naan dipped in the sauce from the chicken, even more awesome! There was a gentleman sitting at the counter eating (an employee? friend? I don't know, but it is not a dine-in place so I don't want to give anyone the wrong idea), anyway I told him I had never eaten there and he said I was about to be amazed. He was so right! I am looking forward to trying other things on the menu now. read more

I stood in the restaurant for 32 minutes completely ignored. Delivery drivers waiting for over an hour and minimal communication. As they were asking for names to hand out orders I asked to place an order to be told they weren't taking orders. I left at 7:15 pm and they close at 8 pm. No communication, signage, organization, or customer service which was unbelievably disappointing after the good things I had heard. read more
