This was the greatest possible experience I could ever have. Both eyes came out 20-20, across all distances from 16" to infinity, with zero astigmatism. They started out about -3.5D nearsighted and up to 1.5D astigmatism. Absolutely awesome experience. I am a PITA about surgery. I research and question everything. Its sometimes hard for doctors to put up with me and my questions. Dr. Shumski not only did great work, but was gracious about my questions and called me 3 times to answer questions. I also got several email answers. I received full documentation about the surgery and all questions/concerns were answered. His staff and associates were also wonderful. From the receptionist to techs to ophthalmologist who reviewed my post-surgery progress. I cannot be more happy about the entire experience.

But what impressed me the most is how thorough they are. My surgery, counting the initial exam, will require two more appointments and a medical release from my primary physician! The doctor was nice enough and prescribed me more antibiotics but told me everything I already knew about my chalazion. Now I have to call an ACTUAL Oculoplastic surgeon to remove my Chalazion and it's going to take a month longer than I thought it would.

I had such a severe double astigmatism and now I see clear as day after my LASIK procedure. The consultation, the surgery itself, and all follow-up appointments were a breeze. I was so anxious and the team took great care of me. Also, the pricing is great compared to others in the area and there was barely any waiting time as well. Also they charged me a co pay that if they had contacted my insurance provider, I did not have to pay, and they have a no refund policy.
