I really like the new location as there is lots of parking, the store is spacious and bright inside and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The wall on the right side of the entrance changes with difference themes periodically. The store is laid out so there is lots of room to look around without getting in other people's way. The paper is displayed by theme along with stickers and embellishments. They carry some unique papers like printed acetate. Ink, markers, ribbon, stamps and die cuts are located near the back of the store. What I was so excited about was to see stamped images on watercolour paper. There was a selection of different images and greetings for cards, each sheet was $1.79. The images can be coloured with Copic markers, watercolour pencils or aqua painters. You cannot walk in and not buy anything. If you spend over ten dollars and you get one scrap buck which does not expire. They offer Saturday crops as well as the occasional weekend crop. The place is very bright and clean with an okay selection - it's definitely not the biggest that I've seen but I think you would get by for a project that you were working on. I love the idea of scrapbooking/creating and enjoying coffee at the same time - I didn't have a coffee though as I was on a mission for my letters! The customer service was lacking though as I asked for help finding anything with letters - stickers, stencils, anything. The lone employee told me that she was pretty sure they didn't have anything. I looked through the store and I found two separate packs of letter stickers and she was surprised when I brought them to the till. I get that you may not always know what's in stock, but I would have expected an employee to come out from behind the till (when she wasn't serving anyone at the time) to double check a few places where she may have seen the product I was seeking in the past. This store is out of the way for me on the north end of the City but it is conveniently located just off St. Albert Trail.

I like supporting the local craft sale community and each time I've visited I've found at least one thing that I absolutely needed to have -- each time from a different designer. Today I bought a dress for example, but in the past I've purchased scarves and pouches and have really enjoyed jewelry, cards, and edible treats here! The community is really friendly and there tends to be a good number of families who shop here in addition to individual adults. It's great to see the babies and young children and their enthusiasm for art! I'm happy to talk with and interact with all the creators and hope to continue to do so in the future as well.

These Temu earrings were labelled "Numinous Nova" so I assumed they were a maker. Like so many "makers" in the city and on Etsy who I had to finally delete, these are all Temu. It's a bit hard to find, located in an industrial area of the city, and it's kind of small next to the big Fabricland store right beside it, but it's worth the visit if you're an avid scrapbooker! I was overwhelmed stepping into the store, I didn't know where to start. They have everything you need for scrapbooks and other craft projects, including rows and rows of stickers and rub-ons, chipboards, paints, brads, and crafting tools. There's also an entire wall of cardstock paper in all kinds of beautiful colours and patterns. While they had everything one could possibly need for any project, some of the items were a bit pricey, even for a scrapbooking store, I would say. So be selective with your items, because you can get certain ones for cheaper elsewhere. That being said, be sure to check out the back, as that's where all their clearance stuff is currently stocked at half price. I found some really cool cardstock paper back there for really cheap. They also have a room in the back where they hold their craft and scrapbooking classes. You can sign up via their website; I think one usual session is about $20. They also have examples of projects throughout the store, so you can get an idea of what they make. And there's a small play room for kids right beside the entrance, for moms who want to take their time getting stuff but can't find a babysitter. Sign up for their points system and get 10% off once you reach 200 points, which shouldn't be too hard cause this place is awesome!
