    Bloody shit on the toilet!!!
    Fernando C.

I would give this shithole 0 stars if possible. There was some event this night and this $39 a night motel gouged us for $243.00. See my pictures. There was bloody shit on the toilet!!! 8 flies, a broken bed and a horrible smell. We left in the middle of the night. I promise you I'm getting my money back from my bank.

So I got this hotel room off of Hotwire so when renting it I didn't do it based upon reviews or word of mouth. Start off When I checked in I had to stand outside the office bc their lobby isn't open at night I stood outside for about 10 minutes then finally called because no one was coming. I got charged 85 for the room then 50 for myself and 50 for my 12 year old daughter... so be ready for the extra charges for the room you already rented. The parking is super cramped and difficult to get out of once you pull in. Once we were in the room it gave me total psycho vibes to the point I felt the need to tell my family members who were not with me my exact address so if I went missing they knew where to look. When I went to dead bolt the door I found out that on top of the creepy room I couldn't make the room safe for my daughter and myself so I had to prop a chair and a table in front of the door. Then I told my daughter to go wash her face and brush her teeth which she started screaming due to the dead bug in the sink. All the windows were shut so that tells me the room wasnt cleaned too thoroughly. I ended up getting a very restless 5 hours of sleep before I gave up and just left the room with my daughter because both of us were creeped out. When packing up my car I thought I had left my wallet in the room so I stared check under the bed... it was absolutely DISGUSTING!!! Something sticky was under there along with plenty of dirt, dust and garbage. Oh and a few dirty socks that were neither my daughters of mine as both of us were wearing sandals and didn't pack socks. Shame on this hotel for charging people $300 for dirty linens when that can't properly clean a room!!! Especially considering the last 2 years of being in a pandemic and the huge focus on hygiene. I'm a nurse and not much turns my stomach... this place made me nauseous! They should be reported to the public health department. On top of the unclean nature of the room the safety issue is absolutely despicable. Do not come to this place!!!

The front desk person was insanely rude to me and the guest. Constantly was yelling at us and wasn't understanding at all. I've never stayed somewhere in such a nice town and get treated poorly. Their was blood on one of our beds and we tried to tell them and he then said it was one of ours. I hope none of you guys stay here u will regret it. Also didn't get our deposit back because we were slamming the doors but in our two rooms the bathroom door dosent fit the frame of it and u have to pull externally hard to get in and out. Refused to magnetize our cards because he already did it one time. Extremely poor service and I will Never ever be coming back here again!!!!!!

THIS WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORSE HOTEL EXPERIENCE WE'VE EVER HAD! We were checked into an extremely dirty room. The toilet was disgusting. We couldn't even use it. It had old dried up pee, poop, and hair all over it. I called the front desk lady to have her come clean it. She came to clean it, lifted the toilet seat and told us we needed to move to another room because of how gross it was. She took us to another room that was even WORSE than that one. We told her we wanted a refund because the rooms were so disgusting. She freaked out on us, was extremely unprofessional and rude, and told us she would not refund us. She also took the keys and wouldn't let us into the room then disappeared into the back. She wouldn't answer the phone or come back out. So we were out a refund and the room. We had to call the police and get them involved. We left and found another hotel that was way nicer and cheaper with awesome customer service. We were also charged a $100 deposit, TWICE! This hotel is a complete crap show! Check the photos out and save yourself a lot of trouble. I wish I would've read the reviews first. ‍

NASTY! No wonder this was the last hotel with availability in town. Our car died on us so we got stuck staying here. And $300 some later this is what you get stains all over the comforters and chairs, gum on the heater, pills on the bathroom floor, toilet not even wiped down. And the shower is even worse! $300 for this?

HORRIBLE, DISGUSTING, NASTY PLACE! We booked our room through booking.com. and spent $235 for 2 nights. We drove 3.5 hours for classic car show here in Cedar. Our rod has no a/c and it was 100° outside. Anyway, when we got to the hotel both front desk clerks allowed us to cool our grandkids down in the lobby area and even let us check in an hour early. We thought, wow...this is so nice of them. We couldn't have been more wrong about them. My granddaughter is 1 and we let her walk on the floor of our room barefoot, 2 minutes later her feet were BLACK! We were so exhausted from the heat i thought, we'll let it pass and since the folks up front had been so nice I figured I would go buy a cheap broom and mop to clean the floors myself. About an hour in we went to put our granddaughter down for a nap. We pulled the blankets and sheets back only to find BLACK MOLD on the mattress cover and sheet. I finally had enough and went to the front desk to ask to be moved rooms because my brothers room wasn't bad at all. The lady up front told me she would be over to come look at the problem like she didn't believe the pictures I showed her ...she never showed. I went back to the front desk and encountered the male clerk (who was being a condescending a$$ to another gentleman that was checking in). I ask him again if we could be moved rooms and he also told me that he'd be right over to inspect the problem. 30 minutes later he showed up with a clean or close to clean mattress cover. I told him that this wasn't going to be good enough and he immediately jumped up and said "well then you can check and fight with booking about your money...GET OUT!". So we took the kids and left that disgusting place without hesitation. Now booking tells us that since we paid at the hotel they cannot refund our money and that it's up to the owners/front desk clerks whether or not they want to refund our money! NEVER EVER AGAIN! Be careful folks...pictures and people can be deceiving.

The new flooring, walls, furniture, and restroom fixtures. One thing I do recommend is that they add better ventilation fans in the restrooms that suck the air out quicker and more efficiently. The beds were comfortable and offered very nice bedding. Although I did not need the use of the AC, it did work very well. A big plus about staying at this hotel is the breakfast they offer for free throughout your stay during the morning hours. I hit it up every morning, regardless if I was intending to have breakfast later that day. The breakfast includes biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon strips, sausage links, make your own waffle machine, breakfast potatoes, cereals, oatmeal, and much more, not to mention coffee and teas. There's inside and outside seating available. The hotel offers an inside pool, it's a non-smoking facility, offers a laundry facility, and an exercise room. The renovations will include a new lobby and restaurant and bar. I would stay here again, not only because the prices were very fair and it was a good stay.

Parking lot had some construction on one side while we visited. Not a huge deal, jist went around the other side. It might be beneficial to have a separate area for RV parking, as having RVs parked directly behind passenger vehicles made maneuvering around them a little difficult. Breakfast served every morning and it was definitely adequate, nothing to complain about there. Not fancy by any means though.

How heart-warming is that!? I immediately wanted to meet each of the pooches and have a cuddle-puddle in the lobby, but I refrained. The hotel itself is fine-the room was incredibly spacious with a double shower that's just begging for some group adult parties. I'm sure this setup is perfect for such shenanigans, but I can't confirm that since it was just me and the wife. But anyway, yeah, that's a balling shower. I also appreciate the higher quality shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion. Dove is a step above the typical hotel stuff, for sure! Breakfast is rather nice-a full selection of hot items, cereal, fruit and an assortment of juices and coffee. Everything stayed stocked and neat thanks to the attentive breakfast staff. My one complaint about this hotel is the noise. We heard every conversation out in the hall-and I don't think anyone was speaking at unreasonably loud levels. The sounds of footsteps above us made me think that there were large animals running around-but I bet there were not. A little better insulation or other sound-reducing measures could really make a difference. Especially if you have a party in that shower.

We arrived at 2:45pm, check-in is listed at 3:00pm. As I approached the front desk, I was not greeted. No name tags on any employee. One women was on the computer and never looked up. The other women who was messing with keycard folders, finally acknowledged that her lobby was full. I said checking in, she nervously said they had no rooms cleaned and the other women stood up, very pissed off. Looked at her co-worker, as if we weren't standing there and said in a very nasty voice, "they will have to wait until 3 for check in. We have no clean rooms." To which I replied, "I have worked in the hotel industry, there is no way, there isn't a room available, 10 minutes before check in time. You aren't going to turn over 200 rooms in the next 10 minutes, have you not been cleaning them all morning?" She completely waived me off and said, "3:00pm is check in." So at 2:58pm magically they had a room for us to check into. There were pubic hairs all over the bathroom sink and the bath tub. Gross. I let the water take them down the drain. A bag of garbage sat at the top of the stairs for an entire day, not even closed up. Literally in the path of the stairs, fire hazard. My husband reminded the front desk that it was up there at 7pm still. She sighed and said she would get to it. There is NO hot water, no matter what time of day or night you shower. Luke warm at best. Day four and the stairs have not been vacuumed once, since being here. At breakfast, I was pushed to the side by a breakfast attendant twice, so she could grab her rags, as I was reaching for items. We needed a roll away bed for our last night here and requested the bed on day 2 of our stay and we were told that they don't reserve beds, they are first come, first serve. I was instructed to come down first thing in the morning the day I needed the bed. 730am I went down to the front desk to do so. While I waited my turn, I listened to another guest conplain about her stay and watched her show pictures of all the bugs in her room and the hotel tub. The front desk attendant said and I quote, "You didn't have to stay here, you could have checked out immediately and been given a full refund." The hotel guest then said, "There were no other rooms." To which she got a reply, "Look, I wasn't here last night, so I don't know what happened." And she kept looking down at her computer screen, while the customer continued to tell her about her experience. She couldnt even give her the respect of eye contact while speaking to her and acknowledging her frustrations. Basically taking no accountability for the company she works for. I step up to the desk to request my roll away to which I am told, "We have none that have been turned in, come back at 3pm, when it is check in." Seems like there are no processes in place to know when beds are turned in. My husband check again, upon our return from lunch and shopping and he was told they dont have any beds yet and check back later tonight. She put our room on a list of requested rooms that needed a rollaway. I grabbed my book and sat in the chairs on the second floor and waited for house keeping to be done cleaning the rooms. It was about 230pm. I asked him. "Hey, do you happen to have any rollaway beds in that storage closet? We have been waiting all day to have one delivered." He opened up the storage closet and sure enough there were two rollaway beds just sitting in there. Ridiculous that the front desk either doesnt know they are available or too lazy to check the closet. I guarantee they will never call us or bring a roll away to our room today. The 3pm shift arrived for work and I proceed to hear about how pissed off the front desk clerk was having to listen to everyone complain about the rooms. And the lady that showed up to work, asically agreed. The male bousekeeper who works on the second floor asked a housekeeping lead if she had checked out his rooms, so he could put his cart away and go home. She said, just go, no need. The male housekeeper was trying to follow protocal. I am disgusted by the attitude of every single person that works in this hotel, except for the male house keeper that works the 2nd floor. I am now sitting in the room itching everywhere; the thought of bugs in this place eww. I have personally not seen one in my room, but if there are bugs in one room, there are bugs in all the rooms. Eeek. I needed a new room key. As I had lost my key. The front desk made me new room keys, asked for my name, but never my photo ID to prove who I was. So basically anyone has access to your room, if they know your room number and your name. That is such a security/safety breach!!!! Never ever would that be acceptable at another hotel. I called and left a message for Corporate to call me back and not one word from them.
