Dan, the owner, is one of the most honest and trustworthy contractors I've worked with. I've used his company many times over the years, and the service has consistently been professional, prompt, and high quality. I highly recommend Air Worthy Air Conditioning to anyone looking for an HVAC company they can trust.

I don't normally write negative reviews, but my experience with Clovis Heating and Cooling was so…read morefrustrating that I feel obligated to warn others. I was assigned this company through American Home Shield to diagnose an issue with my AC unit. During the visit, the technician told me the system needed refrigerant and explained that my home warranty policy would only cover $10 per pound. I told them I wanted to do some research before approving any additional charges. That's when the real problem started. The phone number listed for the company appears to go straight to voicemail, and despite multiple calls during the hours they instructed me to call, I never received a callback. After repeated failed attempts to reach them, I contacted American Home Shield and requested a different contractor because I could not get anyone from Clovis Heating and Cooling to respond. I was then informed by American Home Shield that Clovis Heating and Cooling had already closed my claim and classified it as a pre-existing condition. This was shocking, especially considering I had been actively trying to contact them and had received no communication explaining that decision. In the end, I paid for a service visit, got no meaningful follow-up, couldn't reach anyone at the company, and had my claim closed without any discussion. The lack of communication and customer service was unacceptable. If you're considering using this company, be prepared for unanswered calls, unreturned voicemails, and a potentially frustrating experience. I hope this review saves someone else the time, money, and headache that I went through.

Darren knows what he's doing and actually takes the time to service your system, not just try to sell you a new one. I have an older AC unit, and they've kept it running year after year with honesty and skill. They don't pressure you, they don't upsell, and they treat your system like it was their own. I should've written this review long ago -- Buckley Air is top of my list, and I'm sticking with them when it's finally time to upgrade. Thanks, Buckley -- keep doing what you're doing.

Professionalism, Exceptional Customer Service, Expertise, and Execution…read more These are the words I would utilize to describe my experience with Jeff and his team from Maximum Air. I had a 20-year-old Bryant zoned Hvac system which I had been "limping along" for the last couple of years with the understanding that once the compressor went a full system replacement would be in order. Unfortunately, this happened during a heat spell a couple of weeks ago. Fortunately, I had saved Jeff's name which had been shared with me a few years ago by someone involved in Hvac parts and sales here in Fresno. I called his company, Michelle took the information, dispatched Anthony, who promptly arrived, and after diagnostics recognized quickly that it was indeed the compressor that was shorted to ground. Having done my research over the last year, I knew which Bryant/Carrier systems I would potentially consider. Jeff called me later that same evening and we went over the pros and cons of each as well as the details of my personal situation. He took the time to answer all of the questions that I had. I ultimately decided on the 5 ton complete Carrier Infinity System. Within several days, we had the new system installed, which has been working flawlessly since. This is the expertise and execution component of my review. Where the customer service and professionalism shined was when Jeff offered, and then personally delivered, portable AC units for our use until we made a decision on the HVAC system. He kept reminding me that he was doing this, regardless of whether or not I decided to go with him for Hvac replacement. all of this was done prior to us discussing or signing a contract. As I shared with him the first time we spoke, I'm "old-school" and an insider's professional referral and first impression go a long way with me, and I had already made the decision to go with Jeff's company. Lastly, in terms of the system, it is quiet and definitely more efficient than our 20-year-old system, as expected. On 100+ degree day comparisons from this year, we have already noticed about a 40 to 50 kW per day improvement! I know the real efficiency improvements will come once cooler weather hits and the heat pump compressor is being utilized versus furnace. Thanks again Jeff, Anthony, Marco, Matthew, Andrew and the rest of the installation team. Keep up the strong work.

One AC unit wasn't working well so my construction company, CPR, who is working on my home referred me to Maximum. They were so friendly and quickly came out to evaluate everything. The second unit starter is aged and they recommended replacing it but they didn't push it or upsell anything. I chose to hold off for now. I think I paid around $300 for everything. They didn't give me the price ahead of time, so I'm really happy it was reasonable. I'll definitely use them again.
