There's so much to see and feel and ooOoo and Aaaah over. GREAT place to find that next one of a kind gift. They also teach flower arranging classes. Materials (and the wine + cheese) are provided too! So much fun!

Here is my experience with them. 1) Portrait Bouquet. Simple task, right? Not for Bows & Arrows. Alicia must have forgotten to make it, because when I went to pick it up, it was not ready and she ran to the back, used last weeks flowers, and put something together in the wrong shades of pink, and NONE of the flowers I ordered were in there. Not to mention the flowers were wilted and dead. My wedding planner spoke with Alicia about her poor work and said that we would not be paying her until she performed to high standards at the actual wedding. 3 days before the wedding, she calls and says she has no flowers for our wedding and will not be doing it because she has not received payment. After much arguing with her, we payed her reluctantly and she promised to provide for us on the wedding day. 2)Wedding Day: First of all, I CRIED when I saw my bouquet. It was that horrible. The flowers were dead, wilted, and all wrong from what I had ordered. As I was taking pre-wedding pictures, myself and all my bridesmaids were having to rip flowers out of our bouquet because they were wilting and falling over. I was mortified that my dear friends had such pathetic flowers. Not to mention the bouquets were TINY and therefore even smaller once they started ripping out flowers. The alter arrangements were horribly lopsided as well. Ruined all my pictures.... I will say, her petals lining my aisle were outstanding. So was every arrangement at the reception. I gave her some credit for that. 3) Post-Wedding: Sent Alicia an email explaining my disappointment and hoped for reimbursement. I heard from someone in her office saying it was best if they never speak with me or my family again. HORRIBLE customer service. We are continuing to try... Needless to say, DO NOT USE HER! Find someone else!

It is quite literally impossible to list out all of the reasons why we love and appreciate Alicia…read moreand why she was the best decision we made for our Jamaican destination wedding. But, I'm going to try my best to summarize! What I first appreciated about Alicia was her way of walking you through information, step by step, so as to not overwhelm you. Diving into a destination wedding already feels overwhelming to begin with. But, she was the only person we talked to who actually managed our overwhelm - and didn't just pile on to it with unnecessary information or all the potential future issues to tackle right out the gate. From day one, she walked us through the planning and decision-making process step by step in a way that was easily digestible and built a lot of trust and ease immediately. It only took a few initial consultations with other planner/agents (and walking away from those spinning and feeling like we had more questions than answers and more problems to solve than we started with) to know that Alicia was the perfect fit for us. Our dreams for our wedding extravaganza went far above and beyond your average destination wedding. We got married in Jamaica, had around 50 guests from all over the world and turned it into a couple-week-long celebration with almost daily activities and excursions for everyone. And Alicia couldn't have managed our group, dreams, wants and crazy ideas better than she did. Alicia is your ultimate "yes woman" - no dream is too big - while still managing realistic expectations along the way. There were SO many things we had never thought of when it came to planning a wedding in another country - and having Alicia by our side, guiding us through it was truly invaluable. When I say we never would have had THE destination wedding (and honeymoon) of our dreams if we hadn't worked with her, I believe that wholeheartedly. She is a complete and utter rockstar and went above and beyond for us. She knows what's possible (or will help you find out), she has so many connections and she's intimately familiar with the different cultures (which, we quickly learned, was an invaluable piece of the puzzle when coordinating an event of this magnitude and in a country we weren't too familiar with ourselves.) Alicia is the sweetest woman you'll ever meet (our guests all loved working with her too, as she helped manage their travel and board too - and even continued to use her services outside of our wedding as well!) - but can also be the ballbuster you need when necessary. She put out countless fires throughout our wedding experience (which are bound to happen on a wedding day - let alone a multi-week-long extravaganza juggling 50 people lol) and usually solved them all before they ever even reached us. The love and appreciation we have for Alicia is immeasurable. She handled our group's big personalities with ease and grace and embraced our wild wedding dreams and helped to make them a reality. She felt like family by our wedding day and is part of our core memories when it comes to our entire wedding experience. We couldn't be more thankful she came into our lives! Also, a HUGE shoutout to her team - we were extremely appreciative of them and all their hard work! They added so much to the experience and we just adored them! I could go on and on detailing everything she did for us... but I'll leave it by reiterating that working with Alicia was the best decision we made when wedding planning. From the bottom of our hearts, we couldn't thank her enough for all that she did for us! Lastly, if you got through this and still have any doubts or questions about working with Two Pineapples in Paradise, I'd be happy to chat and answer any questions about my experience (@heystefanilarson). I have zero doubts that working with her will be the best decision you make as well! We love you forever, Alicia!!!

Alicia & Two Pineapples in Paradise is a complete NIGHTMARE to work with. Communication at the…read morebeginning was what I would call "love bombing". Very excited, very helpful, very encouraging. Once you book and make that deposit, communication becomes lacking. Multiple of my guests had issues getting in contact with Alicia. Often times, Alicia would go days, or weeks, without answering if answered at all. Her "assistant" Hannah often times would respond after you've emailed multiple times and inform you that Alicia is "out of office" yet again. Thankfully I got in contact with my wedding planner from Sandals/Beaches and planned a lot of it with her through emails, because Alicia missed a lot of information and we missed out on one of the locations we really wanted due to this. We were able to pick another location, but obviously you never want to settle when it is your wedding day. The location we originally picked was not available from the beginning, which was communicated to Alicia, but never communicated to us until about 1.5 months before we were set to fly to Jamaica. What is normally stressful as a bride, was made almost unbearable by using her services. We also booked our honeymoon through Alicia, in which credits were misplaced and we also had a "free catamaran cruise" but that was never communicated to us until the resort was attempting to fix our credits on the day before departing. I reached out to Alicia due to finding her on the Sandals/Beaches website & another travel planner at the same time. Alicia charges for her services, a hefty fee, where others do not. Due to this, I thought she would be more qualified, diligent, and involved. I was very wrong. The only time Alicia was prompt with communication is when she wanted her payment toward the end of planning, when issues were still being had with getting my credits/refund. We flew out, and Alicia did not reach out to us until the morning of the wedding. Not once did she check on how things were going at the resort, mind you she also charges a large fee to fly to the resort with you and 'assist' which we opted not to do since the experience had already been extremely frustrating. On returning home, she also did not reach out. These may seem like small things but when you book a wedding with 35+ people traveling to a foreign country, you could wish them safe travels? Fortunately my wedding was great, and I'm so thankful I got in contact with the wedding planners offsite, and the onsite team was amazing. There were definitely moments that needed to be fixed last minute & unfortunately this left a very negative impact on us. I would highly recommend and suggest doing research before hiring someone like this for your biggest day, or even small travel. I have screenshots and emails from all communication. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me for more information on my review.
