The good and the bad. This is a hostel, not a bnb, first thing first. I came here with my girlfriend, and she likes to walk, which is good because it is pretty far from.... everything. 10-15 minutes walking from the train station isn't too bad, but 25 minutes to the center of town gets a bit annoying. Other than that, it is right next to the train tracks, so they keep you up all night. Air conditioning did work, but the wifi didn't. My girlfriend took a cold shower, and couldn't figure out how to get heat. Turns out, they "turned the hot water off because there was kids staying there before us".... ummmm, ok? I guess? Not really a great reassurance, but whatever. The owner seemed very friendly, although she spoke veryyyyyyy little English. The daughter was great as well, and spoke more English. Apparently that is a thing (helpful tip incoming): older generations speak Italian, and then also are taught other languages like French and German or Spanish, while younger generations are taught Italian and English. And breakfast was included, small breakfast.... kitchen pastries and coffee, some cereal. All in all, a good experience, but bad location. read more
