Worst place to get an appointment. I've set an appointment twice and each time they canceled on me…read morewithout notice because they did not get verbal confirmation. They call me at office hours, obviously cannot talk on the phone at work or I'm fired. I give them two email confirmations and they still cancel on me. Now, they told me I could do a walk-in before 7:30. I was there at 7:10, and they told me they're sorry, not taking walk-ins at this time. It's plastered out there that walk-ins are welcome. Just a shady place, the Aspen place in Pooler. Do better. You're blacklisted and I am never recommending you to anyone whatsoever. You think I don't have what to do with my time? Seriously so enraging.

This entire experience has robbed me of my desire to meet people, make friends, or be part of any type of community. The world is an ugly place when a doctor can do this to someone and get away with it. And if you can't trust your doctor then who can you trust? Was the money you got paid ever really earned when the final results are nothing at all like anyone would ever want. You turned something beautiful into something ugly. So forgive me, but I don't talk on the phone anymore. You can have my other pair of shoes. Take my socks too. Sorry about the holes. I haven't bought any new ones since I've been trying to save the money for the surgery to repair this botched one. I'll go barefoot. I used to be a happy person and now I'm struggling to keep my cheeks dry.

After the surgery I told Nicholas Theodotou that the prosthetic is slanted and he said to me, "I…read moreguess you'll have to deal with it". I thought that was an insensitive thing to say to someone who already struggles with being Blind. I wish I would have gotten another dentist and an attorney, but I shook it off and kept going since he had already been paid. They were physically hanging so low in the back that I could stick the whole tip of my tongue between the prosthetic and my upper gums. They were also too big and bulky and sticking out over top of my bottom lip. I had to pull my jaw out forward in order to get my lips to close around them and having to do this caused constant pain in both sides of my jaw. The uneven bite pressure caused the entire side of my head to throb and also pain to my bottom teeth. Eating waas painful and because of the uneven bite pressure and the way I had to pull my jaw out to chew I also had difficulty swallowing even liquids. Talking hurt just as bad as eating and smiling was impossible. One of the implants is sticking out in plain sight and when I smiled, my top lip got stuck on top of them while they stuck out over top of my bottom lip. The prosthetic cannot be removed until the 6-8 month healing period is over. Theodotou told me that I would thank him in the end because of all the money he was saving me. When the day finally came to remove the prosthetic it was instant relief from the pain and pressure they were causing me. That's when I found out that one of the implants wasn't attached to the prosthetic and this became something I had to remind them of at every following appointment because it had to be put back in first and they kept trying to put the prosthetic back in without capping the detached implant. At the appointment for the wax try in, I was ecstatic because they fit in my mouth but it would be another month for the lab to make the final prosthetic. The next month I was excited because I would finally be rid of the painful and hideous prosthetic for one that actually fit, but for some reason they didn't fit and Theodotou said they would have to be sent back to the lab for another month so adjustments could be made. As if suffering in this condition for another month wasn't bad enough, the chunk that was hanging entirely too low on the one side broke off making them feel like I had broken glass in my mouth. I couldn't swallow my own saliva without it cutting into my tongue and I couldn't eat for the fear of breaking off and swallowing any sharp pieces. I was unable to eat for 3 days because that's the soonest he would get me in for what took about 10 minutes to smooth out the sharp broken edges. The next appointment came and again they didn't fit and he started putting all the blame on the lab. He sent them back to the lab for another month to make more adjustments. Upon waiting for the next appointment, the other side of the prosthetic started cracking apart giving me anxiety especially every time I tried to eat. So when the next appointment came and they didn't fit yet again, I was sick of having what felt like a torture device being put back into my mouth and I sat up in the chair about to leave and he put his hand on my shoulder and shoved me back into the chair. I was told that they had to be put back in or the implants could fail. At this point it felt like a cruel game of keep away that they were playing with my teeth and it would be yet another month I had to wait. A month later making an entire year I suffered with that crooked painful prosthetic he finally put the final prosthetic in. It was nothing at all like the wax try in that he led me to believe would be the final prosthetic 4 months ago. It was a copy of the same ugly, bulky, painful prosthetic sticking out of my mouth. When I pointed out that they were sticking out over the top of my bottom lip, he said to me, "Smile and humor me". Then he started to laugh. On my way out his staff was laughing and telling me to smile. I left feeling very violated, abused, and bullied by him and his staff. After the numbing topical wore off I could feel the prosthetic digging into my gums. I immediately made an appointment with another dentist. I knew I was a victim of a botched surgery based on the reactions of the whole staff at my new dentist's office. She was kind enough to fix the spot where it was digging into my gums at the consultation. Then I found out how he had botched the surgery when she did the vital procedure that Theodotou neglected to do prior to the surgery. She was able to get me out of that painful torture device in less than a month, but unfortunately she was not able to get the teeth lined up properly because of the careless random placement of the implants. I will have to suffer another surgery just to correct what Theodotou botched. I came here in need of mercy, grace, and healing but found none of that in Nicholas Theodotou nor the staff at OMS Coastal.
