I absolutely love this park! I took my toddler here to burn some energy and she had a blast at both the little kid section and the 5&up sections of the park. I love the little play creatures like the ladybug and the goat salamander. The water pad will be amazing when it's open in the summer! I'm looking forward to future visits! read more

My little one and her cousins really enjoyed visiting this park throughout the summer. It was a nice way for them to beat the heat while enjoying themselves. Magnolia Park is still newer, so of course it looks beautiful and well-kept. There are covered bench and table areas to enjoy a picnic or even throw a party. Those, unfortunately, are the only shaded areas at the park. Given how hot Vacaville can get, this is quite disappointing. The dining areas are fairly clean, for the most part. We will, unfortunately, always have individuals who will not clean up after themselves though. In regard to play areas, there are a couple areas where both big kids and little ones can enjoy. The jungle gym areas have bark to help soften kids' falls. I'm personally not a fan of the bark, since it gets in shoes, cause splinters, and what not. Thankfully, other areas have a thicker rubber covering the ground. There is also a water station where kids can play and enjoy playing in the cool water. This was a huge hit for many of the kids (and adults with their children) during the summer. read more

Awesome Park for little ones, the water feature is great for those very hot days or for children to love to play in water. Downside to this park is theres not too much shade protecting the play structure so things get very hot very quickly. Clean. Nice Equipment. Very Little Shade. This park seems relatively new, so please don't come expecting to find shady spots to lounge around. In 15 years, when the trees on-site have grown and expanded, this park will be a shady haven; not so right now, though. The amenities at the park, though, do already warrant making a stop. The play equipment is awesome, there are basketball courts and large grassy areas, and there's even a splash-zone water feature. The park seemed well manicured and very clean. I love this park! It's super close to my home. It's always clean & a lot of my neighbors come here as well. It's fairly new, only a few years old, so the kids play Area is very well maintained so far. I've also used this park to attend community talks as well. It's a perfect spot for those type of events since the park itself never gets too crowded. read more

Very nice park with splash pad area. I've bbq'd here and brought the kids to play at park and in the water. Located in a nice neighborhood.

Security or regulation is needed during the summer months on the weekend. I don't know any mother that is down with marajuana smoke & vulgar rap all around while their kids play. However, during the week, this park has been AWESOME. I really do hope the splash pad area is fixed by next summer because the soft flooring is ripped up in some areas. read more

Very nice park with a clean bathroom and bathroom stalls! Since it's a brand new park, there is no shade. The park also does not allow jumper rentals due to the many complaints on how loud the generator gets, at least that's what they told me when I reserved a spot. They also mentioned how there are no outlets, I couldn't even use a bubble machine, but I seen that the outlets were covered and locked. There is a small splash pad area for toddlers. I am assuming they only turn it on when it is over 85 degrees. There's been a few days where Vacaville has hit over 80 degrees and they still don't turn on the splash pad. The tables are fairly large for parties, however the tables are not solid. The chafing dishes didn't hold very well. There is limited parking in the parking area, you can park on the streets if needed. read more

This park is great, but it's always windy and has no shade near the playground. I love that my Little Bear can go on the big playground and the little playground. I'm guessing that the little playground is appropriate for ages 18mo+ and the big one he started on as an adventurous 2.5yr old, but he's a brave little guy. We've never used the splash pad because we go in the morning when it's cool and breezy, but the idea of it sounds amazing. The big green swing is a huge hit with my boys. I love that there's a big grassy area for catch, soccer, frisbee and more. Also, the bathrooms have always been clean and stocked when we were there. There's also garbage cans and a covered picnic area off to the side of the park. read more

This is a family friendly, shaded picnic area park with fire pits that's great for a days play, a BQQ or a party. Love it!

One of the nicest neighborhood parks in Vacaville, of course because it's the newest one. :) There are main two play structures, one of older kids and one for younger. Two different swing areas, splash park (under construction), benches, basketball court, covered picnic tables, and the best part, bathrooms!! Gotta love it when a neighborhood park has bathrooms so you don't have to worry about trying to rush home for your little ones! Love the grassy areas around the park as well. Really hope they do well with the upkeep with this one. FYI: the parking lot is one way. Entrance is NOT off Vanden, which I quickly learned my first time here :p Been here a couple times already and noticed in the morning that lots of SAHMs come out and congregate here, especially military spouses. read more

On July 15th I threw my baby shower at the large gazebo. It definitely had enough seating I believe there are 8 long table benches and plenty of shade the park is extremely clean and great for parties. All the children that attended my shower had plenty of room to run and love playing on the playgrounds. They also love the water area. And it's a plus that the park shares a fence with the fire department I definitely recommend this as a great place to throw a party or just enjoy the day with your children. read more

Love this park. By far the newest, cleanest park near Vacaville. Pros: a huge grassy area for sports, etc, fun/unique playground equipment, and public restrooms close by. Cons: not enough swings. I also wish the splash pads would work, but I contacted Vacaville Parks & Rec and they can only turn them on with approval from the state because of the current drought. Don't think they will be on this season. read more

Very nice park for families. It is still a work in progress as the houses develop in that area. Great for toddlers to play in. New equipment & nice shaded areas for parents. The splash park looks like it is fun for kids and it has a nice path to bike or fly a kit. We will definitely be coming back to play again. read more
