We stayed here the weekend of the big craft show. IT is a great location as we could walk into the show and to have lunch and dinner and not fight the traffic. The house inside is amazing and the front is beautiful but the back left some things to be desired. The owner is in the process of selling and it needed a little sprucing up. The breakfast was amazing and the owner was very nice and knowledgeable. It will be interesting to see what the new owners do with the B&B.

Just spent a really lovely 2 nights here. Everything was terrific from beginning to end. The owner greeted us at the door and gave us a tour as well as provided information on mount Dora. The B and B is adorable, and our room was furnished with a very comfy queen sized bed. There is a mini fridge downstairs with soft drinks and we were able to keep our cooler there. Tea, coffee, water and chocolate chip cookies available all the time. But the breakfasts were phenomenal. Choice of 3 apps each day- mango pineapple sorbet, cold berry soup or yogurt granola parfait ( best granola of my life!). Entrees included a wonderful lemon blueberry Dutch baby, eggs Benedict, quiche and avocado toast with various toppings. Dutch baby was my fav! We will be back if in mount Dora again.

Came to Mount Dora to experience all the Christmas lights in this quaint little town…read more We made reservations at the hotel and decided to have dinner at the hotel before viewing the lights. We ordered drinks and decided to try a couple of entrees. The kitchen did take their time to prepare our meals, but, we were not in any hurry after driving all afternoon. All our dinners were excellent. We also decided to try some of their desserts which were out of this world...great. Prices were reasonable and service was very good. I highly recommend dinner and dessert at the Lakeside Inn.

We spent three nights here last weekend. When checking in, after making a reservation for a "Pet"…read moreRoom, I received eye rolls and a warning when I asked for clarification of the language on the pet form. The form stated that we could not leave our 15 lb dog alone for extended periods. I asked if we could leave the room for meals and got a mean look and more eye rolls. Not a great start. If you don't want pets, don't say you can bring a pet and then charge a pet fee. The location is fabulous. That said, the exterior of each building is filthy. They have not been cleaned or painted for many years. The room has carpet from the 60's which was stained as well. Food in the dining room was average at best. The bartenders and servers were great. In the main dining room, we saw the "cockroach that devoured Cleveland!" In the same room, the split system air conditioner was leaking down the wall and onto the floor. Well, that is about as nice, and brief, as I can be. Good luck, folks!

My review is only for their conference rooms…read more I attended a baby shower at this hotel and it was being hosted in the conference room,I did not spend the night here or go to the front lobby but from looking at the hotel from out side it looks like it is maintained ok The conference room were the baby shower was that I attended was pretty small but we were able to fit probably about 20 people in it.

We spent one night at this Hampton Inn. It's located fairly close to several restaurants…read more Parking is only available on either side of the building, but there are side entries (not so easy to see). Hampton is trying to convert people away from using physical card keys to using a phone to enter your room. It didn't work for my husband. Our king room was adequate, with night stands on either side of the bed, with outlets available. The room included fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, plus large flat screen TV. There is vending and an ice machine on each of the 3 floors. The bathroom was equipped with a shallow tub and shower combination. There were plenty of towels, but they were on the stiff side. A hair dryer and box of tissues were well hidden in the vanity drawers. There were no towel racks, but there was a small hook near the tub. Oddly, there were 5 grab bars in our bathroom. The bathroom had been cosmetically renovated, especially around the vanity. Breakfast was so-so. Hot items included oatmeal, sausage, eggs, and potatoes. There were also mini-scones, bagels, a waffle maker, and accouterments. Seating is limited, and is essentially the lobby area. The upholstered surfaces are rather dirty. Given what we paid for our stay, we expected better overall.

Stayed here with my boyfriend for only one night but it was wonderful and we were sad we couldn't…read morespend another night. The place is owned by Inez and her granddaughter, Shelby, who helps run the place. Both are so gracious and accommodating. The Inn is charming, clean and conveniently located by downtown and Rennigers (which is why we were there - for the Antique show). It's affordable and they were nice enough to work with us on their two-night required stay rule. (For festivals they require a two-night stay but we only came for one and since they weren't sold out, they didn't charge us the extra night). We loved our stay and highly recommend this bed & breakfast to others..really good people and we're happy to support their business. We'll be back to Mt Dora for another festival and definitely staying here.

Ok well this place was comfortable ,cute great food and food presentation .the owner was so nice…read moreand friendly . For most of our stay . But I thought it rude that she didn't offer to show me the house after I asked to see the rooms that were empty also a very strong smell of Canabus Coming through the Ac in our upstairs room . Late at nite and again early in the am 5 /6 ish . Informed the owner at breakfast .. she said she burns sage .... was not safe it was pot for sure . I was telling he so she knew people could smell it I wasn't complaining - just thought she should know . Also we sleep with a fan and I forgot mine so I went to the hall closest to see if there was one , instead of bothering her . I found one in the hall bath a clip on one on a towel rack so I didn't think she would mind so we used it . Well when we came back later that nite there was a note on the hall bathroom door stating rather rudely that this was a private bath for another room .i did see the private sign on the door but I knew no one else was staying in the main house but us ... so the bottom line is we loved the place But I don't think the owner is as laid back as she looks or thinks she is lol
