They have extracurricular classes such as Chinese and computer coding classes. One of my son has been doing 1:1 English tutoring! It is very helpful !!! They have kid activities such as cooking, putting on a play, and making a camping scene. They offer spring break, winter break, and summer great programs! The teachers at Top Education treat it beyond just a job. These make me and other parents feel secure and satisfy. Top Education's curriculums cover a wide range. They still came home with a bunch of complicated HW every evening. All they really did was play for a few hours. Since enrolling, not only are my kids coming with finished HW, they are also getting extra supplemental academic exercises in, Mandarin, English and Math. My older kids iReady math assessment improved by 222%, the younger one improved by 187% for the end of the school year.

But, along the way, I was recommended to attend a place called A Plus Academy. A plus Academy were experienced in the area of helping kids with school work and activities. Because of that, my child has been attending A Plus Academy for more than a few years now. I would say that A plus has been and still is instrumental in his development in Mandarin and math. Ohh .. FYI.. The kids do have fun with outside activities like as attending movie theaters, parks, science centers, swimming, activity centers and etc.. They tend to be excited to go to school and participate in activities, and they speak well of their teachers and classmates. The school appears to have a good student-to-teacher ratio, and the teachers seem attentive and aware of their students and their behaviors. Overall, the school tends to be clean and safe. My child also enjoys the food: they say "Chef" makes food they really enjoy. Drop-off and pick-up times are fairly flexible, which we appreciate. Something I really appreciate is that the administration has been responsive to any questions I've had as things have come up. Most communication happens via email, though every so often administration will approach me during pickup or drop-off to communicate something directly. We chose this specific school based on a recommendation from another parent, a coworker who told me how much he liked it. My child is in the three-year-old class, and they're currently working on phonemic awareness, basic addition, number recognition, letter recognition, and a few other things. Overall, I'd say the school provides good value for the price. It's not the least expensive option in the area, and it's far from the most expensive, but I can say confidently that it's very well maintained and appears to be high-quality.

But, when I finally reached out to the owner Linda I was dismissed and referred back to the Site Director. Many parents ended up leaving the program and placing our children elsewhere. The only positive were a couple of the classroom staff throughout the years who were kind and patient with the kids. These staff members often ended up moving on.

It was frustrating that the Director/Owner ignored my messages despite my trying multiple times to resolve the issue with the site director before reaching out to her. The staff says what you want to hear, but again and again no change is made. Disappointing from an owner that is a former educator so she is well aware of the screen time limits and recommendations for elementary aged children. I have noticed that some sites are being run much better than others, so be aware to actually check on what your child is doing each day there after homework is done. Don't rely on the staff, but check internet usage and ask your child. Maybe your school site program differs.

The director was beyond thoughtful and went to the store to get him an alternative! Considerate and kind! I loved the staff.
