There are also different levels of Sake Sommelier classes for those who are deeply interested in delving into the complex world of Sake for either connaisseurship or for a serious job in the restaurant industry. Sake is becoming popular to the point it is found not only in Japanese restaurants, but also other East Asian restaurants as well as New American which is becoming ever so experimental. My Sake Advisor class was from 9am to 4pm w/ a 50 minute lunch break. It was held at the nearby Sushi Institute of America which is on the edge of Little Tokyo, DTLA. Instructor Master Sakè Sommelier Mr.Toshio Ueno was entertaining, informative, ultra-knowledgeable, well organized, insightful, intuitive on the needs of the students who attended. The classrooms are really new and modern. They have 4 classrooms including one computer lab. All the professors that I have had here are really awesome and great teachers. The best part is that most of them let us out early especially for the one day a week night classes. The professors also enjoy this offsite campus because of the ease of parking. The parking lot is well spaced and plenty of parking here. Overall: This off-site campus rocks and whenever I can get a class here, I jump on the opportunity. I highly recommend getting classes here because parking on main campus can be a hassle and the rooms are really new here .

I loved this one male tutor, I think his name was David, so much because he never showed that he judged me and broke down concepts super simply and always encouraged me. This is how all tutors should be. But there was this one woman who went to Harvard or something who brought my mom and I into the office and basically told me it was too late for me and went on and on for a good 30 minutes-an hour about how I'd "never get into a good school" even though I had a 4.0 and I was on a good path, had clinical hours as a 13 year old, and was doing really well. She kept flexing that she went to Harvard and she could tell who would succeed or not, basically saying I'm going to fail at life because she could tell I wasn't going to make it. Ok good for you???? And surprise, she was wrong. I got into the top schools in California and am about to graduate with honors. I wasn't sure if writing a review after this long was fair, since I'm not sure if she still works there, but I still carry that negative memory with me to this day and even included this experience in my college essays. Hope she's not working there anymore and putting students down like that... Hopefully this was just a one-off experience but I'm not confident that it was, since she was way too comfortable rambling on like that. I would give one star because of her but that one tutor saved the rating a little bit.

The classes cram everything into a short period of time making it hard to remember everything. If you ever want your child to come here, go ahead. Just don't sign up for the " VIP " program because it really has no benefits. The counseling plan is just your average school counselor checking up on you instead of you going to your school counselor. If you want to spend the 30 grand then just remember you're just financing the director's G-wagon.

I take away one star for the reasons below. There is only one bathroom for 20 to 30 kids, which means a lot of waiting to wash hands. Also, while they charge $12 a day for lunch (which is quite steep for kids lunch), there is almost fried food daily with little to no fruits or veggies daily and most days there is no drink included. Friday lunch is 2 slices of papa John pizza and a capri sun for $12. Finally, the front desk staff is not friendly at all. No one greets you when you drop off or pick up your kids. If you ask a question, you get a one word response. I must say it's the most unfriendly staff I have encountered for a kids summer camp or kids activity.

They seem to be frustrated with Anna, and Anna just tune them off. Most of the tutors are college students. They are not trained in education like Victoria. Anna look forward to see Victoria, and Anna doesn't want to disappoint her. I was nervous, and stress out before, but Victoria assured me that everything is going to be fine!
