It saddens us to know before freaking 2019 they were good food was hot and good service regardless if u ordered from the menu or buffet. Yeah not so much anymore and it seems to get steadily worse. I wish it was like it used to be I love good Chinese food but as I said good. Ambiance the food the service nothing to write home about unfortunately. We went back twice in 2025 and haven't been back since according to our friends that dined there recently they wish they hadn't. It's a shame. We are in search of a new good Chinese restaurant. If food and service is good we tip good if not I don't tip for bad service nope. We give up and don't go back eventually... So now to find a good one. :) read more

Food was alright, but looked like it had been sitting out for quite some time. Service was AWFUL. Waitress brought us our check and kept harassing and nagging us and pointing at the check as if she was trying to rush us out of the restaurant. She even picked up the check and flaunted it in my face and had to tell her to please hold on and to stop. The restaurant itself could have been cleaner. Recently moved into the next town over and wanted to find a good Chinese restaurant. This was not it. The Hot and Sour soup was very sour and not hot. Family ordered egg fu young, sweet and sour chicken, noodles, sesame chicken, etc. The meat was poor quality, the food was packed together with yellow rice that tasted nothing like fried rice, and SOGGY. The egg fu young was almost soupy. The sweet and sour chicken was squishy. But worst of all, the food is bland at best. Fine. The least they could do is pack it correctly so it's not a pile of mixed squish by the time you get home. Gross! read more

We're vacationing in Campbellsville and got back 9pm on a Tuesday night and needed to eat. Magic Wok is a Chinese buffet that is open until 10pm. We decided to do take out, (you can do takeout buffet)but the restaurant is clean and bright with several tables full and steady take out customers. We had the boneless ribs (good), General Tso chicken (better), and the chicken and string beans(also good). The one disappointment was their egg rolls, just kind of bland. Went to the magic wok tonight and was rudely treated by the weird hair colored lady I believe she's a failed beauty school dropout from what I found out... Anyways I was charged two dollars higher because their takeout box was broke and wouldn't hold shut yeah I Filled the small tiny take out buffet box is much is I could who wouldn't but it was still closing it just wouldn't lock therefore she said I was overflowing with food and charge me more this is the second time I've been rudely treated and also previously my daughter who was two at the time was charge full price because she ate one cheese won ton. We decided to give this restaurant another chance because we love Chinese food. The food had improved to a safe edible level, however the waitresses are the reason we won't be returning. There weren't many people dining, however our waitress didn't offer to refill our drink until she brought the check. We had tried to get her attention several times. She seemed to be too busy standing by the drink fountain flirting with other customers. Another time she did bring our refills and sat them down so hard the drinks spilled out. She didn't offer to wipe it up. Another time she basically demanded a tip. It isn't worth dealing with this hateful girl to have Chinese food, we'll go elsewhere. read more

Fast service and the price is good. They serve tap water and the food is okay. It's probably the best Chinese food in the area.

This is the best locally you will get.. as with other buffets don't expect to go at a 2 p.m. on a weekday or even weekend for that matter and had expect to have hot fresh food when no traffic is in there.. we are locals and eat here at least twice a week and after Friday's about 7 p.m. and Saturdays you can't hardly get in the door you have to wait to be seated there so many people. Then the buffet is poppin.. I don't know anywhere else we can go and get unlimited vegetables, egg rolls, crab meat with cheese, fish, desserts, different types of rice, offer two of us for $21.. I personally like the sushi I've seen some people give that bad reviews but honestly it's not like us to go out of town and pay $50 for a few pieces of sushi when this tastes just as good to me and it's unlimited.. but to each their own! this is so usually our go-to and we decided to go to a different Mexican restaurant the other night for pickup and it was $26 and we did not get a lot of food.. you can get to go boxes which will save you from buying drinks and having to tip, and you'll get much more variety that way too.. you can also call in from the menu you just won't get as much of a variety as if you ordered off the buffet.. some people complain about anything but I think this is a great local spot.. the only bad thing I guess I could say it's a restaurant itself could use a good cleaning..! We've never had an issue with the servers unless it was totally over ran busy and I understand ..Half of these people on these Yelp reviews have never worked in food service and it shows read more
