Kimeron and her daughter Shelby were so great to work with. I had a very simple job - two small…read moreareas, one above a glassware cabinet and the other is a backsplash area of a hallway cabinet. It was a very expensive grass cloth paper, and I knew it was going to take professional installation. It should have been a 1/2 day job, but it turned out to be a 3 visit job - not because of their skills, but because the wallpaper turned out to be very problematic. The manufacturer did not give proper instructions on specific glue necessary and consequently even with proper wall preparation and standard glue, the wallpaper would not cooperate or lay down properly. Kimeron was so apologetic and even contacted the manufacturer to explain the problem and get additional information on how to install this very difficult paper. She even got them to mail me another roll of paper at no expense to me. At all times Kimeron was so accommodating and responsible to make sure the job was done properly and that I was happy with the installation. I know she lost money on my job, but she did not hesitate to make multiple visits to get this paper installed correctly. I would highly recommend K and B Wallpaper.

We had a great experience working with Max and would highly recommend him…read more Max was very responsive, kind, and clearly knowledgeable about the nuances of wallpaper installation. He took the time to educate me on different considerations, especially given our textured walls, which I really appreciated. Our project required multiple steps, including applying a skim coat, priming, and then installing the wallpaper. Max came back for each stage, was always punctual, and consistently delivered high-quality work throughout the process. We chose a plaid wallpaper pattern, and because our walls are slightly uneven, some of the lines didn't perfectly align at first. Max was very responsive and proactive in making adjustments to improve the overall look, which showed both his expertise and commitment to getting things right. In addition to his craftsmanship, Max was professional, friendly, and made us feel completely comfortable having him in our home. He also paid great attention to cleanup, leaving the space neat and tidy after each visit. Overall, we're very happy with the results and would definitely work with Max again.

West Coast Painting and Decorating was hired for interior paint and accent wallpaper installation…read moreprojects within our new home. When I had initially reached out to Mauricio after finding his business on Yelp, he scheduled an on-site, same-day walkthrough to verify the costs of the projects, which were reasonable. During our preliminary walkthrough and a follow-up meeting, I greatly appreciated Mauricio's professionalism, patience, courteous demeanor, honesty, and consultative approach. After the wallpaper I ordered was finally delivered, Mauricio and his partner, Jose, started the projects right away. After they finished the projects in the evening and cleaned up, Mauricio performed a wallpaper installation and painting final walkthrough with me to ensure I was pleased with the overall results. Mauricio installed our wallpaper straight with nearly invisible seams. There were no major issues with the paint job: there was consistent coverage with NO roller marks/drips/streaks/obvious brush-strokes near the edges of walls and windows. They accidentally spilled some paint on our carpet, but they cleaned it up to the best of their ability so that it is barely noticeable. After our final walkthrough, he happily accommodated my requests to improve a few minor things related to the wall paint. He even offered to come by our home the next day if we noticed anything out of the ordinary. Overall, the entire experience from start to finish was positive. I could tell that Mauricio takes pride in his work. I heartily recommend West Coast Painting as a trustworthy partner for paint/wallpaper needs and we plan on hiring them again for future projects. Note: They offer a 1-year warranty on their wallpaper installation and they use Kelly Moore paint.

Since I only could access the in-law unit bedroom wall side, I requested mineral wool, two layers of quietrock with green glue in between. Many contractors did not want to do the two layers of quietrock and didn't think the green glue was necessary. Do It Now Drywall immediately recommended all these as the best option for my wall. They were professional, prompt, courteous, experienced, and completed the whole job from prep to cleanup and even help me painted the wall with reasonable pricing.
