Due to COVID, I had to wait outside in my car while it was raining and complete the check in. Unfortunately, no instructions were given on how to use the laptop. I figured it out but and an elderly or computer illiterate person would have difficulty navigating the screens. I was not called back in to wait once the lobby emptied. I gave it two stars because the front desk receptionist was nice. Cleanliness: After returning my laptop I was able to wait in the lobby. The decor was modern and up to date. The receptionist informed me that the owners wife decorated all the Mint dentistry's office's. Nice touch. The individual clients areas were modern also. Tv with videos were available while waiting on the Dentist. Music was set to my liking and the chairs were comfortable. Customer Service: The entire staff was nice. The 1st bridge that was placed on my bottom teeth had holes in the front that can be visibly seen & the whole time I was gaslit from the entire staff saying they don't see the holes or discoloration when you can clearly see it in a picture. I recommended my whole family to go there…read more Well I recently saw an oral surgeon and she hurt me so bad that after a week I am still in serious pain. The lower half of my face bruised up and she cut my lip during surgery. I was given gas and local anesthesia. Even with the local anesthesia I felt when she cut my lip but at that time didn't realize how bad it was. One of the techs said "oh you have an ulcer just use Vaseline". My lip was split so wide that it is taking so long to heal. It hurts constantly and never once did anyone mention it or how to care for it after that moment. This was only an extraction of 2 teeth. When she first gave me the shots to numb my face she wasn't gentile at all with it. Most dentists numb the top let it set it and then go deeper to numb the bottom part by the bone so that it won't hurt the patient. Not this lady, she went straight to the bottom by my bone the first time and I felt and heard the needle penetrate however many layers of skin and tissues you have to get through to get close to my jaw. It hurt so bad and I yelled OUCH and all they said was it will only hurt for a second. Don't jab someone with a needle straight to the bone and expect it it to hurt. I was the last patient and not sure if she was trying to do mine in a hurry or what. I had 2 people holding my face while she was trying to get my tooth out. She finally had to drill it out. I KNEW that I was going to be in severe pain after what I went through and even said are you going to prescribe me pain meds after this fiasco? She got short and said I don't prescribe anyone anything more than Tylenol 3. I said that's fine it's better than nothing. I can't take ibuprofen because I'm having a surgery next week and they told me not to take that. When I went to check out with my prescriptions she gave me ibuprofen after I specifically said I can't take it per doctors orders. She crossed out the ibuprofen and told me to take regular Tylenol. I have been in severe pain not only from my lip but my lower jaw and wake up all night long every night since in sharp shooting pain. I have to get 2 more teeth extracted and there is no way I am ever setting foot in there again to that same oral surgeon. On top of that I paid $1090 for 2 teeth to be extracted that's with insurance. I remember only paying almost $200 for one tooth a few years ago without insurance. I can't explain the huge bruise on my face and lower jaw after a tooth extraction but what makes me even more mad is the gash she left on my lower lip that will take a long time to heal and not even the decency to give me any pain meds to get me through at least the first 2 days where I laid in bed crying. I do not remember her name but I do not recommend her. She has terrible bed side manner and not gentile at all. You aren't supposed to give someone PTSD from going to see a dentist. So after what I went through my doctor had to cancel my surgery for the following week because he saw how bad my face was and it wouldn't be safe to intubate me during surgery so now I have to wait 6 weeks to have this surgery I really need. I am a full week after the extraction and still in as much pain as I was the day after they did it. I'm afraid to go in there to have them check it to make sure she didn't split my jaw. I'll be making another appointment with a different dental office to X-ray my face and pray they can give me better advice on how to care for the damage she did. In 1986, Dr. Heathman took out a cyst next to an impacted molar. Two years later, that impacted…read moremolar had grown in and was abscessed. So in 1988, my parents took me back to Dr. Heathman to have that abscessed molar removed. He talked to my parents after I had been given general anesthesia and they all decided to go ahead and take out my wisdom teeth, since I was already "out". When I woke up, I had bandages on all 4 corners. I was told that the abscessed molar was removed and three wisdom teeth.. and that I didn't have a 4th wisdom tooth (same corner as the abscessed molar). Ok, Great. Healed up, had braces, graduated from high school and college, and worked for 5 years. In 2003, I noticed my bottom teeth were becoming crowded again (NO! I don't want braces again) but I didn't do anything about it until 2006 when what do you know... that "non-existent" wisdom tooth started to grow in and hurt like hell. So, having moved to Dallas, I found an oral surgeon up here and he took x-rays. Turns out I had two wisdom teeth (both on the bottom) that needed to come out and would easily explain why my bottom teeth were crowding. Hmm... that's interesting, I had one of those wisdom teeth taken on in 1988. Or did I? So, I called Dr. Heathman's office. It took them a couple of days to find my records from 1988, but they did. The x-rays were sent to Dr. Fanous and he compared them to the x-rays he had taken the week before. Guess what. BOTH of the two wisdom teeth on my 2006 x-ray were there, clear as day in 1988. Dr. Heathman apparently sliced up my bottom right gums for the holy hell of it and didn't bother to take out the wisdom tooth that was there. And I guess since he had already taken out the abscessed molar, we wouldn't notice that he didn't take out the one on that side... claiming I didn't have one. Is 18 years to long to have a fit and demand a refund?

Dr. Heathman's staff got us in, when it was convenient to my schedule, and Dr. Heathman packed her surgical site with a wonderful pain relieving compound. He was so pleasant to us and treated us as if we were the only patients he had. My daughter healed up and now, 10 years later, she has never had any problems.
