Mike came to the Veterans Hall in Gilroy for their Christmas party. At first when I was told that "Magic Mike" was coming for a kids show, I said , "Ummmmm, that's not appropriate for kids. That is for adults." The guy apparently had not heard of Magic Mike the movie. Anyways, yes this definitely was a kids show, not adult lol. He walked around the room showing trick to kids. He was super silly the whole time which made it a fun act. Some things he did everyone was like, how in the world did he do that. Definitely was a good show! read more

I hired mike for my daughter's Bday Party and I am glad we did! Everyone ( adults as well as kids) enjoyed the show and we were really happy. Mike made my daughter feel special and was very professional. Thanks Mike! read more

Omg, I can't believe it has been a whole year and I am only now writing a review for Magic Mike... He was the main attraction at my son's 6th birthday party and EVERYONE LOVED him and his little bunny! +1's: - I called several entertainers and he was the most assuring, informative, and yes CALMING, one I spoke to, which, aside from the reviews on Yelp, really helped me with my decision. - He showed up early, had appropriate jokes, was very interactive with all (20+) kids (and adults), and even helped gather everyone inside for cake when it was ready. He even asked me ahead of time about the theme of the party, so that he could somehow try to incorporate a small part of that into his show. - We had a couple of really rowdy kids (who were a bit distracting...but hey, what do you expect with a bunch of 6 year olds, right?) but Magic Mike handled the situation perfectly and carried on with the show. He was not impatient with them and found a way to incorporate their...ummm...behavior into the show. - Hmmm...what else? Jokes, Balloons, puppet segment, magic - the show was entertaining from beginning to end, and everyone got to pet the bunny at the end. - I believe one of the other parents liked him so much that she even hired him for her twins birthday party that summer. Extra Plus: I will admit it. I won't even lie. I am one of those really annoying people who calls 2 weeks before, and then a week before, and then a couple of days before something is planned, and Magic Mike was truly very accommodating and patient with me, answering ALL my old and new questions every time. I would recommend him and hire him again and again if I could! ****Absolutely no negatives whatsoever. ***** read more

Mike performed for ~200 adults and kids at Galileo Preschool's annual alumni luau. It was a super hot day, but Mike still came is his full magician outfit! The kids were mesmerized by the tricks and they couldn't stop laughing at all of Mike's jokes!! His bunny was a hit, and Mike stayed for almost an hour after the show, letting all the kids pet his rabbit. Don't think twice, hire Magic Time Productions! read more

I was an attendee at a birthday party (age 6) where Magic Mike performed. Kids and adults were very entertained. Magic Mike had a great sense of humor, fun and surprising tricks, and -- the best part -- a white bunny, who the kids got to pet at the end. read more

Majinga was awesome at my daughter's surprise 6th birthday party in the park. The tricks were fun and the kids had a blast. Adults loved the jokes too! He followed all the safety precautions keeping social distancing and sanitizing the hands and the props. I highly recommend Majinga! Yuliya read more

I am a preschool teacher, and one year an extravagant parent had Magic Mike (Michael Stroud of Magic Time Productions) give a performance in our class for her child's birthday. It was absolutely fabulous, completely entertaining the two dozen 4-year-olds and spiced with enough adult humor to have all of us in stitches. I enjoyed him so much that I had him perform at our wedding! Everyone thought I was nuts when I said I was going to have a magician at our wedding, and then afterwards everyone was raving about how fabulous Magic Mike was. He is very professional and I can't recommend him highly enough. read more

I hired Magic Mike for my son's 6th birthday. It was seriously the most stress-free party I've ever hosted. Magic Mike kept all the kids (and adults) entertained. Wow! I was so impressed with Mike!! He was professional, on time and absolutely fantastic with the kids! He is a funny guy. If you get him booked you won't regret it. He entertained 20 7 year kids for an hour with ease. His jokes were appropriate for the age. Loved him and will definately hire him again! read more

We had Magician Mike Stroud perform this past weekend for our 8yr old sons birthday party and he was a HUGE hit, exceeding all expectations. It was a Harry Potter themed party and he did a great job tailoring his show around the theme. The kids and the parents loved the show. It was fun and entertaining for a group that ranged in age between 4 and 60+. If you're looking to hire a magician don't hesitate to go with Magic Time Productions. Extremely professional and entertaining. read more

We had Magician Mike Stroud come out to the 2015 Holiday Party for the Burlingame Masonic Lodge. Magician Mike's show is a yearly repeat for our children's party, and every year we hear many complements from the children and parents. His show is interactive, and he asks for children to come up on stage to assist him. My kids, 5y/o and 3y/o, usually cannot sit through a magic show, as they don't typically grasp some of the tricks, but Magician Mike does make his tricks fun and easy to relate to for all ages. Magician Mike also does a special "Santa" introduction each year and makes our Santa appear amongst a flurry of snow confetti! I'm sure we will continue to reserve Magician Mike each year! read more

We've hired Magic Time Productions for my son's 2nd Birthday event which took place yesterday. I will just say, I am so glad I made the choice to hire Michael. He showed up as scheduled, he gather everyone to the cake table and got everyone involve in singing the Birthday song for my little man. He performed one of the best magic show, even all the adults were impressed with his performance. Michael made everyone laugh so hard and got kids and adults to participate in his show. It was awesome!!! Everyone loved his performance. Most of the guest raved about his performance. Thank you Michael!!! You made my son's birthday even more special. read more

Michael Stroud, known as "Magic Mike" since 1979, has performed comedy magic shows for our families and company employee appreciation parties for over 20 years. Mike offers an outstanding family appropriate performance that adults and children both find highly entertaining. It's a shame that an adult movie with his same stage name, made only a few years ago, has confused the public- he's the original "Magic Mike", Magician Extraordinaire, though now he goes mainly by his name Michael Stroud, and his magic is better than ever! read more

Magic Mike (aka Majinga the Magician, aka Michael Stroud) really is the best. His unique style of magic is funny and sophisticated. A lot of performers say they are entertaining for kids and adults, but he really achieves it. The adults are as engaged as the kids. He is fabulous with the audience and his quick-witted improv makes a lasting impression. He is a talented magician of stage and close-up. If you ever need to hire a magician, you'd be lucky to have him. Anyone with a phone number like 408-BIG-SHOW has got to be serious, right? Can't say enough. He's my favorite magician and you have to see him perform to know why. read more

Magic Mike, is truly a master of stage, strolling, close-up and variety magic shows. If you're looking for a great magician for a corporate event, children's birthday celebration, or special occasion, Magic Mike will delight and amaze your audience. This is the magician to book if you want your guests to laugh out loud and be totally wowed. I've been booking his services since 1997. Nothing but possitive raves and reviews for over a decade. Magic Mike. Incredible. read more

Majinga is always entertaining with great wit and humor, and amazing tricks that will leave you baffled (even from an up-close view). His jokes are tailored to the appropriate audience (I've seen him working with kids and performing for adult Improv audiences) and he's amazing with working with volunteers. His Maqique Bazaar shows are a great combination of acts - well worth seeing more than once! read more

Michael and various members of his team have come to our events for a couple of years now. The process is always straightforward and professional, and I appreciate how friendly an easy to work with Michael is. This year, he took our budget and staggered three of his team members at our event so there was always something going on. They even dressed up to match our theme! We received a lot of positive feedback about each of the team members (stilt walker, face painter, balloon animals) from the crowd at our event. Both children and adults loved them! I cannot say enough good things about Magic Time Productions! read more

Saw Magic Mike perform this past weekend. Magic, yes. Amazed and baffled, yes. In addition to that is his great showmanship. Mike has a cleaver whit and spot on delivery. His jokes are hysterical. He performed with 3 others who were also great. Thanks for making us all feel good! read more

Magic Mike performed at our 4 year-old's birthday party. He wasn't a direct referral, I found him online so I knew I was taking a chance. But...he was terrific. He is such a professional in all senses of the word. He's a master at off-the-cuff commentary about what's happening around him. He was not thrown off by any of the kids and their unexpected actions or comments. And, he had the adults in stitches. From what I've seen, it's so difficult for a performance artist to handle both the kids and the adults. He did it effortlessly and with appropriate humor and talent. Couldn't say enough about him. read more

Magic Mike performed at my son's 5th birthday party. I was skeptical as to whether ten 5-year olds could stay focused for one hour, but they were captivated, as were all of the parents! He is a very talented magician, with a special talent for improvisational humor in response to the kids. If you are looking for a fun and memorable event, hire Magic Mike. You will not be disappointed! read more

I've seen these live. Better than the YouTube vids. The best fun and comedy kid show, the best full evening show with dramatic big illusions for benefits and big gatherings. Very outgoing and naturally comedic and witty. Does well either kids or adults. And now he does face changing and robot drama magic. Hard to beat. read more

Magic Mike just came to my birthday party (with 20 guests from 7-77) and totally made the party a success. His talent is not only the magic but the hilarious banter that accompanies it. All of us loved his spirit, and he didn't seem to be dumbing down anything for the 4 kids. Just good clean fun. Can't say enough positive. read more

We saw Michael Stroud at a show at the Walnut Creek Library. He was so wonderful and funny! We decided to hire him for our son's birthday party. Money well spent--love, love, love! He "brought down the house" as one of my guests shared with her friends. And, my daughter, who turned 7, said it was the best birthday party ever! We actually had Magic Mike to her 7th birthday in September of last year, so I am delayed in my review. It would have been easy to say "forget it" as I usually don't write reviews on Yelp--but, I felt I had to get this review posted as he so deserves it! For starters, Magic Mike is professional to the nth degree. We had many communications before hand as I had lots of questions. I did not have a referral so I was a little nervous (how would he look in person, would he be on time, would he show up, would he be good with the kids). I had a group of 25 girls + a bunch of moms. He came to the pizza parlor and did a fantastic job! I'm not sure what I'm happier with--the performance or his professional demeanor through all of our conversations. Also, my daughter is a little bit shy--he brought her up several times and let her be the center of the stage. At a couple of turns the kids were getting too crazy with excitement and I asked them to "show respect"--it was a little mommy-like of me--but he quickly turned it into a joke and had the kids laughing again. He is good impromtu--you don't need to worry. He was also gracious as I felt the venue was too warm...but he did not complain and put on a great show. Goodies for the kids, special surprises for my daughter and he includes the adults too. Highly recommend! read more
