had a great time, until i got out of the hot tub and noticed hives all over my arms and legs. it was a friends birthday so i couldn't exactly just leave, but i didn't go back in the water. funzone could use more staff and rides but that's where we spent the rest of our time after my hives started. feel bad for the teenagers that have to run an entire waterpark and small amusement park on their own though, don't think i saw a single ADULT staff member the entire time i was there (which was 4 hours for context) and would love to know WHY i broke out in hives after getting out of the water. read more

I love Magic Mountain. I've gone here almost every year since I was 5; now I'm 25 and am still going! I've had friends ask me "But, is there anything for adults to do?" I'm all like "HELLO! It's a water park!" There is more for adults to do than there is for younger children; you do have to be a certain height to go down most of the slides. But, there is a children play area as well! There are about seven awesome water slides; most are body slides but there is one you go down on tubes and another one you go down on a carpet! The slide line-ups are usually long, but they go by faster than you think. The walk up the hill to get to the slides is usually the worst part, especially in the heat! They also have whirlpool, a lazy river and a wave pool. And, dry activities like an arcade and mini-golf (at an extra cost!) You can rent a double inner tube for around $10.00 - great for couples or parents with children. You can use this on the lazy river and the slide! Inside are lounging chairs for your use, you can also rent lockers and there are picnic tables if you wanted to bring your own lunch! Bonus: There is a Beaver Tails located inside! read more

I go here every summer that I go to Moncton. This amusement park is so fun for the whole family and the prices aren't that bad. There are tons of things to go on and you don't really ever get sick of them. The customer service is amazing and they help everyone out when they need it! read more

My family and i went to Magic Mountain for a birthday in August and it was amazing the style of this amusement park is great everything is so fun to go on!! Everything there is great the food, the attractions, the seating, also i really enjoyed visiting the on site mini-golf course and there newly built area of attractions! I will be returning to Magic Mountain for sure in the near future! read more

Took the kids to Magic Mountain last week. With a coupon card it was under $70 for two adults and two kids. I'd consider that good value. Spent the full day there. There is lots to do and it is set up in such a way that it easy to keep an eye on the kids. I also liked that the entrance fee covered most things; we paid $5 for a locker and $10 for mini-golf. It is very safe for the kids. There are lots of lifeguards. A few things kind of took away from the visit. The big one was the long waits at the larger slides. I only got a couple rides on the larger slides because of the long line ups. Thankfully, there were other things to do that you didn't have to wait in line for. The way they have it set up is that you can only go down the slide after person ahead of you has exited slide. This seems overly cautious to me given how long the slides are. Plus, the whole safety system relies on a guard at the bottom to use hand signals to let the guard at the top know that it is okay to send next person down. Also it is one guard for three slides which seemed a lot for the guard to manage. Really?! Seems like kind of outdated. At the Canada Games Centre they have a red/green light system which is activated when someone activates a sensor further down the slide. Also, the non-lifeguard staff are very young and inexperienced. I guess as it is a seasonal job so I shouldn't be surprised but they could have been trained better. Anything out of the ordinary will throw them for a loop. I took my daughter to play mini-golf and it was a comedy of errors when the kid at the register ran out of receipt paper. He called another kid who couldn't replace it and we had to wait for a supervisor. We were waiting for about 10 minutes. Later, when we got hotdogs, the customer ahead of us got cold hotdogs and the kid at the counter shrugged and set her on her way. Thankfully, ours were cooked. Even with its flaws, I would come here more if it was closer than 2.5- 3 hours away. With the hot, humid weather the waterpark was perfect. Tood bad there is nothing like it in Halifax. read more

I was less then satisfied with my visit. The pools and Walk ways were dirty, the lifeguards were not Hospitable, and the staff was not knowledgeable at all. My Son who is over 48'' tall was measured under 48''. The girl taking our Money told me that it wouldn't be a problem for my boyfriend or I to take him on some of the bigger slides. Which was not the case at all, we payed $60 to be restricted to the little pool. I when I called to place my concerns to the manger, I was spoke to very rudely and wasn't offered any form of apology. He made me feel as if was less then a valued guess and further more he made me out to be an Idiot on the phone. I would not suggest bring young children here. read more

I was magic mountains for 7.5 hours yesterday. Pools were awesome and slides are fun but we only got in 6 runs between 4 people (2 kids and 2 adults) because lineups were so long. They could send people down the slide when the next one is halfway down. (That is what they do at west Edmonton mall). Not worth going on a busy day. read more
