My partner and I had a great experience at this fantastic (and roach-free) shop. Shortly after entering we were greeted in a most friendly manner by Conner Phoenix who then entertained and magically inspired us. We had such a good time and we left the shop with an assortment of amazing tricks! I wish we could have caught one of the Saturday magic shows. Hopefully we will attend on a future visit to Cocoa Village. Brick&mortar magic shops seem to be rare things nowadays and this one is absolutely worth a visit. read more

Adorable shop busting at the seams with everything magic. Our daughter comes to thr Youth Magician club and enjoys it. It's super reasonable for 2 hours allowing for us to have a dinner in Cocoa village while she also has fun. Come by and support this shop! read more

This place is SUPER cool! The man at the front was incredibly helpful, and showed me a ton of fun/funny magic tricks. There is loads and loads of stuff to look at in this shop, and I can't stop walking around looking at all of the different things. I will absolutely suggest this shop to my friends! read more

We didn't end up buying anything here, but unlike some of the other reviews, we found the staff amazingly friendly. The gentleman behind the front desk demonstrated a couple of magic tricks to our kids so that we could decide if these were tricks they would want to buy. When we didn't buy anything (because we are traveling and didn't have a good way to get it home), he didn't have any problem even though he spent 10m with us. read more

What a "magical" experience! I was shopping for a few coin tricks for my husband at Christmas, and stumbled into this fantastical store! The selection ranged from novice to advanced .. card tricks to more prop type illusions. You'll find almost everything you need here. It's well merchandised and and there's a lot to feast your eyes upon! What sets this store apart, is how helpful the owners and staff are when assisting customers. They'll listen to what you're looking for, and demonstrate almost anything. When I was selecting my gifts, I had a difficult time making a decision. They gave me honest, and helpful feedback. There is none of that, "we are too cool for you" old school used record store vibe ( or they "conceal" it well! Lol). Most of all, you're supporting people who are passionate about their craft .. and you're supporting a local business! Quick tip, park near Murdock's restaurant and you'll be right there! There's a few gems in cocoa village and the magic dove is the rabbit in the hat! read more

In late October 2015, I hired Terry Black, the owner of Magic Dove Magic Shop to do a magic show from 2:30-3:00pm on December 17th. A week later, he sent me and invoice and W-9 to confirm the date. On December 17, the day of the show, I called him at 3:00 pm to find out why he was not there as planned. He said "ooops....I made a mistake." He never apologized nor offered to do a show for free to compensate. When I told him that I thought his shop and he (as the owner) was very unprofessional, he got an attitude with me as if I said something wrong. I strongly urge anyone NOT to do business with him nor patronize his shop. He is not a professional member of the community and cannot be trusted to carry out his agreed upon functions nor does he care in any way shape or form make the situation right when HE makes a mistake. Take your business elsewhere where you, as a customer will be appreciated! read more

We walked 5 blocks to find this store for my oldest son who loves Magic. Great signage leading you to the store, but once inside the staff was very unwelcoming, unfriendly, not helpful and frankly rude to the point where we just decided to leave and take our business elsewhere. read more
