I had removed the wet padding under the carpet and draped the carpet over some chairs to dry with some fans. They suggested I could set the carpet down to regain its shape. They stopped by to check things out and sprayed everything with a natural fungicide, etc. when they gave me the estimate. They returned a couple days later, replaced the padding, stretched and cleaned the carpet so it looks like new. They also cleaned the basement steps and the portion of carpet on the main floor that they had walked on.
