I've been to Magic City many times over the last few years. It's definitely a fun brewery with a good vibe and great craft beer. They have a little patio on the side for use in the summer. The staff is always friendly and helpful if you need assistance deciding on a beer. One funny thing I noticed on my most recent visit is they have a self serve water tap but it has a Miller Lite tap handle! I've tried many of their beers over the years but they Unholy Grounds is my favorite. It's a sweet blonde ale with a coffee taste. They are big fans of 'The Office' the TV show so every time I've come there is a beer name after a reference related to 'The Office'. I've seen: Prison Mike, Florida Stanley, Dinkin Flika, and Pam Failed Art School. I would love to go there more often if I lived closer - it's definitely one of my favorite breweries in the Akron area.

I was sad when Cult Kitchen left MCB, but their new menu is amazing! We had the gluten free chicken tenders and loaded tots and they were fresh, crunchy, and incredible! Goes without saying that service and drinks were perfect.

Not only is the beer good but the new kitchen is excellent too. Service is on point at the bar& tables. Love the low key heavy metal ambiance. Had the fish fry & it was awesome. Huge portions. Fish is cooked perfectly & tots are awesome too. The beer is always awesome

**I decided to come back and edit this review. I removed two stars because of the bartender, Coco. He was rude, sexist, and transphobic. I won't be going back.** Holy fuck! This is the best damn beer I have had in, like, five years. I have never had a Mexican Lager anywhere else in the US that wasn't a larger brand you can find in grocery stores. Their Pilsner is good AF too. The only problem is that I can't walk home from here! I just moved to Kenmore from Highland Square and had been wanting to try this place. I don't miss Highland Square anymore. But serious question - Have Great Lakes and Rhinegeist been out seated as the best beer in Ohio?

Fun vibes! Great beer! Varied selection! Delicious food! Our bartender was attentive and cheerful, and we found the atmosphere fun and playful. I'd describe the kitschy decor as "death-metal macabre." Definitely unique! Try the spicy chicken sliders and the stouts!

Drinks and food here are amazing the list of beers on draft are extensive and such a wide variety. I haven't had anything bad here yet. The food is a separate entity inside of Magic City called Cult Kitchen. I've had wings and sweet potato fries here and both are amazing. The bartenders are very knowledgeable and will talk about each of the beers and good recommendations. There are also tons of pinball machines and a skiball machine inside that provide plenty of fun.

Here for the Summit Brew Path. It's hot mess pandemic 2020 so my time at Magic City was brief, but right away I liked the place. They have a funny "no mask no beer for you" sign on the front door. Personable female bartenders that know their beer and know about other local breweries. I hate it when bar staff only sells beer and can't tell speak about it. I enjoyed a nice IPA called Florida Stanley that wasn't bitter at all. Overall chill vibe and I would come here again.

I know I've already reviewed magic city but I wanted to add some pics of the food from their "cult kitchen", I just love this place. I had the pepperoni and hot honey grilled pizza and the wifey had the monster size chicken fingers. So awesome!

This is my new fave brew spot Their motto..."Death BEfore Clear Beer". No lagers, pilsners or light beer here. Many great Stouts, wheat beers and sours available. I liked the Belsnickel a lot. It was clean, tangy and a whole lot diffferent than anything I've had before. We sampled a few darks and a few unusual brews. The place is in kind of a strip mall location and doesn't impreess from the outside but step inside and it's a dark magical land of weird rabbits and dark art. They do not have their own kitchen but there is food service within the building with killer chicKen sliders. YoU just walk to the window, place your order and pay. When it's ready you pick it up and enjOy

Hubby and I have been wanting to check this place out. Drove the 25 minutes or so and were so happy we did. I had the Unholy Grounds which is a coffee blond ale, hubby got one of their slushies which was vanilla ice cream and their Into the Everblack stout. Both were heavenly! Atmosphere was cool. We will totally be back at some point.

Very cool!!! Nice clean and convenient location. Truly awesome beer!!! I'm drinking a dilligaf right now, and damn its good. This is my first time here and it wont be the last, they do have a food menu but I didnt look at it because I'm not here to eat. Friendly staff that's knowledgeable. I'm pretty impressed. Keep up the good work!

Stopped by for lunch on a Saturday. Partner ordered wings…read moreand I opted for the chicken sandwich. Both were very tasty. The huge portion of fries was too much (but delicious nonetheless!) It's worth noting that they share a space with Magic City Brewing and when walking in, it wasn't immediately clear what we were supposed to do. The only bartender on staff wasn't particularly talkative/welcoming in the sense of explaining what was going on or how things worked ...and the Cult Kitchen staff are behind a window past the bar. (I dont necessarily blame CK for the MCB bartender, but they're choosing to share that space and it's part of the experience so it seems like it's relevant.) We sat down at a booth and realized was a small table sign with a QR code for the food and drink menu. Below the codes is a small line of text that explains to go to the Cult Kitchen window for food and go to the bar for drinks. This isn't necessarily a bad setup, just had to adjust our mindset as it's more casual and in line with a food truck experience. ...like going up to the window more ketchup (it's in little lidded containers) for all those fries ...and cleaning up after yourself, as there is no one busing tables. Again, the food was very good but the overall experience was just lacking. It seems like it could be something really special if the hospitality and service was there!

Despite the positioning on their website it's not a traditional sit down place. It's an order window and then they bring food to the table. They share space with the Brewing company so a bottle of soda is what you get from the order window but anything else you go over to order at the bar separately. Two of us went for an early dinner. We opted for pretzel app which were tasty and a very big portion resulting in us not finishing them. I would say that app could easily serve 4. Slider special was tasty but considering the heavy portion of fries not everything on my plate was finished and neither was my coworkers meal. Eyes were bigger than our stomach. Place has about 10 (?) tables/booths and then folks sitting around the bar at the brewery side. I imagine on a popular day of the week (we went mid week before the dinner time rush) it could get crowded and loud. Feel of the place is grunge/biker though clean and well kept and without feeling 'theme restaurant'. I would say it has its only unique personality. Had we been more prepared from the restaurant's website for what the place was we might have more enjoyed things. It's just feels more 'out drinking and getting the nibbles' than a destination meal.

This place looks unassuming, especially at night. It's got a wooden sign on the corner and it's a biiiiig white building. The window has a big neon light that says open. There's a toooon of parking in front. Don't be alarmed that the building doesn't look super welcoming - go inside! The place is so big inside! Theres so much room. They had like 8-10 beers on tap and tons of picnic table style sitting and high tops. It's 12 bucks for a flight of 4 and happy hour is 4-7 with $1 off pints! Lit. I really enjoyed the beer here! They also have partnerships with bent tree coffee (another local business in kent), so some of their beer incorporates deep coffee flavors. I really enjoyed the four beers I got. Just so you know, there's no food here and they don't allow pets besides service animals inside. They do have chips for $0.75 :). Not sure if they let you bring food inside, I didn't ask. The true selling point: there's hella pinball machines in here! They are well kept up, super nice, gorgeous, and fun. There's a change machine and you can even pay with your phone on some of them. They have everything from Stranger thjngs, Rick and Morty, Star Wars, ghostbusters, Iron Maiden, guns and roses, and even a beach babe heavy lifting pin ball machine. Absolutely loved it here! It was $0.75-$1.00 for one game for $2.00 for 3 games. I had so much fun playing the pinball games. They were in good condition and clean, and there was hand sanitizer nearby. If pinballs ain't ya thing, they have a buncha board games and other arcade games like bowling, driving games, a dart board, and shooting games. This place is rad! Plus, it was not crowded at all on a Thursday evening during happy hour. Had an absolute blast hanging out here with some buddies drinking beer and playing pinball and would love to come back! Good beer, good music, nice staff, and reasonable prices. How fun!
