They are equipped for most vehicle work; while I was waiting a floor panel was being welded to a family saloon, with all precautions taken to avoid marking the car interior. I spent the time with the mechanic, but the garage also has a viewing area with coffee available for those who don't want to watch. I would recommend this place to anyone needing any work done on their car or van.

I have given ats 2 stars only because of the bad attitude of the sales man at the front of house…read more His attitude was belittling and rude. After I asked for a quote for 2 front tyres and perhaps the tracking to be looked at. He needed to look at my car and when I told him the make of the car and we're it was he said "the only D'S in the car park. Then asked me how much was the other quotes I had. I asked him to write his quote down and my tyre size. And he said so u can tell your other quotes the tyre size. I told him not to if it was a problem. Another customer waiting was even shaking his head. Basically I wouldn't give him my buisness what ever his prices are. They need someone with some people skills on reception. On the plus side I'm sure there tyres are fine.

They even attempted to give my husbands van a complementary valet but he's a plasterer so I'm sure you can imagine what a job that was, but the thought was there anyway! They really pulled the stops out to get my mot done and passed on time and I really appreciated it. I've used them personally and my husbands used them for work and we've both said the same, we'd use them again. Not the cheapest as I said but there's a value in them being reliable and we found them to be so.

Definitely avoid this garage…read more I had an ongoing intermittent fault with my car that happened at random times over a few months. I went to this garage and explained the fault in detail. I came back after 9 hours, I'd had no phone call or updates all day. I was told by the young man that greeted me that my 11 years old car was too old and he couldn't even get a quote for parts. I was surprised and taken aback and amazed that they hadn't even called to let me know. I started to ask if they might still try again to get the parts and was rudely and aggressively shouted at. The man then turned to walk away. I had to ask if I could have my key and without looking back he shouted over his shoulder, it's in the car. It was not in the car, and I had to come back in for it. I understand that not all faults can be repaired. But I did get this repaired elsewhere and it was less than an hour and an easy part to obtain. Even after a bad day there's no need to be rude to people who are in need of assistance and paying for your service.

Used for several years and appeared good service and value…read more However, download of the full MOT history from DVLA showed some surprising things. Advisories from earlier tests were not identified on further tests, despite the work not being done, and work was recommended when not essential. How often do you compare the previous years certificate with the new one? The most serious problem was the missing of a ball joint issue which failed less than 4 months after testing despite almost £400 worth of work having been recommended/done. Fortunately it failed on a car park not a motorway but the vehicle had to be scrapped! Will not use again.
