I basically dropped my car off and arranged for them to call me when they had carried out the MOT. In my experience they never actively looked for work on MOT's. They are equipped for most vehicle work; while I was waiting a floor panel was being welded to a family saloon, with all precautions taken to avoid marking the car interior. I spent the time with the mechanic, but the garage also has a viewing area with coffee available for those who don't want to watch. I would recommend this place to anyone needing any work done on their car or van.

My tyre had gone completely flat so I asked them to take a look…read more They took the tyre off and took it back in the garage. I waited outside. Ten minutes later they brought it back out and said it had just had a piece of metal stuck in it but the actual tyre was ok so they'd put it back up and used it again. When I got home my partner thought it sounded strange seeing as the metal must have pierced the tyre for it to deflate. We took it to another garage and they tested the air level and it had gone all the way down to 15psi! Hence, we've ordered a new tyre. And V&M Tyres charged me £12 for them to pump it up! I wouldn't go back there.
