Vibes were variable amongst the group upon entering, but they were quickly unified in a positive manner whenever the glorious, refreshing margarita tower appeared from behind the bar. The fajitas came out sizzling, although mine was maybe sizzling a bit less aggressively than my brother who ordered the fajita that was served in a pineapple. Nevertheless, all the food was delectable and generously portioned. The marg tower kept us all buzzed and refreshed throughout the evening, and the restaurant applauded as we finished the final drops. Wonderful establishment and experience! Tequila Taco Bar is one of those options. The service was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere had a little local flare mixed with Tex-Mex. I had the tequila bowl with chicken, which was a health-based choice. The accompanying sauce (cilantro, I believe) was flavorful, and the chicken had fajita flavoring. Overall it was pretty standard fare for this genre of food - worth getting while in Fayetteville.

So you trudge out of your hotel room, go downstairs tired and bleary-eyed, to get a quick bite. I don't know if it's the exhausted delirium clouding my judgement, but the food is actually really pretty good, and the service is super quick and friendly, and there are lots of booths and tables to sit at (and a bar area). The best part: Kids 12 and younger eat for free with each paying adult. I love that. The kids menu has lots of options, like pizza, mac & cheese, grilled cheese and grilled chicken. Kids meals come with steamed vegetables and a milk. My children really liked their food and ate almost all of it! I got a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. They put the dressing on the side, which was a nice touch that I didn't even have to ask for. The lettuce in the salad was fresh and crunchy, and the croutons were tiny and bite-sized, not the huge kind of croutons that make me mad because they're too big. Our server was very fast and got us water refills before we even had to ask. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful, which was a nice thing to experience after a long day. Oh, and a really cool and unusual thing is that each of the booths have TVs, so you can distract your antsy child while you enjoy your meal in peace and quiet. That's a nice touch.

I did think that the entrees needed a little more seasoning. After your meal, you can go down into the *secret* speakeasy which was definitely the highlight of this place! Jazz plays on the screen while you can sit next to the electric fireplace and chill out. It's the same spirits list as upstairs in the restaurant so it gives you an extra opportunity to try more drinks. Overall, really cool restaurant and good food!
