If you like sweet muffins this is a good place for you. If you want a standard muffin, these are much too sweet. I tried the blueberry and the peaches and cream. The flavors of the muffins totally overrode any fruit taste. May as well leave out the fruit since they did not contribute to the taste. I may be wrong but I don't think these are made from scratch. Muffins are huge and so tasty. The case is filled with 40+ different flavors. One muffin is $2.75. A lot of flavors are names after Beatles songs. Incredible. Impeccable. Outstanding. The best muffins you'll ever have. The pistachio muffin had a lot of actual pistachios in it which gave it a wonderful texture. Coconut almond muffin was to die for, a heavier emphasis on the almond than the coconut. Cinnamon muffin was 10/10 as well, would pair well with coffee. The amount of love I feel for this place is out of this world. I had my first Maggie's Magic Muffin back in 2008, I was visiting Ohio and was brought here because I "HAD" to try them! I was a bit skeptical, I'm not a huge muffin fan to begin with, but was the hype really worth it? Why did I HAVE to try these muffins?? Why couldn't we just go to the grocery store and get some muffins?? I'll tell you why! Maggie's Magic Muffins are by far THE most amazing muffins you'll ever have, they're fresh, moist, and so damn good! We went there three other times during my visit. My absolute favorite is the sugar cookie one. My last time in Ohio was in 2011, I got a whole box of muffins for the long 11 hour drive home, they didn't make it past the Pennsylvania border. Since then, I've had friends bring me Maggie's on planes, trains and through the mail! Holy muffin heaven. My friend and I stopped by on recommendation for things to do as we were in town for a friend's wedding. We were really intrigued by the muffins. Let me say, I'm a cake gal and these fit right in. The carrot cake was by far my favorite between the 3 we got. It was sweet, a little less dense, and overall I couldn't stop eating it. I really wish we had these in CA or NY. The woman working was also really sweet and funny. She didn't have the red bell peppers for the breakfast wrap so she helped us customize another breakfast (I got a different wrap and my friend got a bagel sandwich). I have visited Maggie's Magic Muffins many times over the years. I love their unique selection of muffins! The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because more recently there has been a decline in customer service, consistency, and availability. The last few times I have visited were definitely not as great as past visits. I wish that the muffins were more consistent like they used to be. I thought we were coming upon your typical store front, but no. Instead, this was a quaint little home with a couch, table and chairs. Lots and lots of muffins to choose from. Friendly service, easy parking. I tried the chocolate chip muffin. Delicious, moist, dense, good chocolate chips. Everything you want in a muffin really. It had a hint of surgar on top that may have added to the slight crisp muffin top, but it really didn't need it. The texture was really kind of perfect though. My brother and his girl got different chocolate muffins, both exceptionally good however, i did notice the cocoa is kinda light in both chocolate muffins. Still good, but would have liked them to have a deeper chocolate taste. Overall very good read more

I would love to give Maggie's five stars but the only thing keeping me from that is the service. It was lacking. I spent a lot of time listening to the staff's conversations instead of being waited on. There was no attempt to keep thier conversation quiet due to customers. But the important part: the muffins!! I had always heard of Maggie's Magic Muffins but never tried them until five years after I moved away from Youngstown. I tried the apple and spice muffin (I am sure it had a cute name that I cannot think of right now) and it was more than amazing! I wish I lived closer so I could try them all. Their selection was amazing, there were so many options it was hard to choose. I first passed up the Southern Blvd location, if you hit Maple Ave know that you've gone too far. Despite this somewhat distant location (it's not on the way to much), I really think Maggie's is worth the trip. read more

Best muffins in all of Boardman!! These muffins are truly magical. They are huge. You definitely won't be able to finish in one sitting. Banana walnut and Raspberry cheesecake are my favorite but you really can't go wrong with any one you pick. They also serve a variety of coffee drinks and other breakfast items if you don't have a sweet tooth. The Boardman location is tucked away in a little unassuming house. I go to Maggie's Magic Muffins at least once a week. The muffins are gigantic, seriously, biggest muffins I've ever seen. And they have all kinds of awesome flavors from the original blueberry and banana nut to the new and exciting pumpkin cheesecake and peaches and cream. The muffins all have cool names too, mostly from classic rock (my favorite is the Miss American Pie-an apple and cinnamon muffin with real apple chunks baked in). Then on top of the amazing muffins, they have great coffee and specialty drinks. I had an awesome vanilla latte the other day, it was so big I couldn't even finish it! And the lunch options...oh my goodness. Great, inventive sandwiches and salads. My favorite salad-Maggie's Salad. It's greens, bleu cheese, cheddar cheese, fresh veggies in season (mine had tomatoes, roasted red peppers, cucumbers), a scoop of homeade egg salad, and their own homeade tuna vinagrette. The paninis are so good too. It's really great, fast, and cheap. You can also order baskets of their muffins ranging in price from $27 to $120 (that's the Presidential basket...it's huge!) and they deliver or ship. I sent one back home to my mom; she got it 2 days after I ordered it, and said the muffins were soft, moist, and fresh, like they'd just been baked. I love Maggie's! read more

I actually came across Maggies when I moved to the area about four years ago.....someone who knew I had a sweet tooth mentioned how delicious Maggies muffins were; so I went & after I took one bite I really felt that there could be no better tasting muffins, really these are amazing!!
