Absolutely wonderful little spot. Little hard to see and find but worth it. Tons of delicious muffins in very exclusive unique flavors. Too many varieties to choose from, forget the traditional blueberry at the door and get wild. This place will have you in munchin muffins like a pure sugar addict. Also had a bacon egg & cheese croissant that was fantastic. The staff was so nice and helpful, will definitely be back for round 2 read more

Their muffins are delicious, I love their blue berry muffins! It's a great place to take your kids for a quick snack that they will enjoy and the people are always nice and welcoming! read more

If you like sweet muffins this is a good place for you. If you want a standard muffin, these are much too sweet. I tried the blueberry and the peaches and cream. The flavors of the muffins totally overrode any fruit taste. May as well leave out the fruit since they did not contribute to the taste. I may be wrong but I don't think these are made from scratch. Don't want to knock a small business but am letting you know these are not standard muffins since they taste more like cake. Fine place if that's what you like. read more

Muffins are huge and a giant selection. Service- questionable. One lady working was nice and welcoming, the other not so much. We had a group of 8 come in and order muffins and breakfast sandwiches. It seemed like it was the end of the world to order a breakfast sandwich at this muffin shop. The sign on the door says "good vibes only". There are not good vibes in there. When you bring a lot of business be careful. read more

Muffins are amazing. The service was awesome, the lady helped so much and she wrote all muffin names on the inside of the box so we knew what we were eating. read more

Once again the greatest muffins We have ever had. The staff is always happy to assist and hreat to offer suggestions. It was late Saturday and the selection was still plentiful. I watched a Beautiful basket being set up for delivery. read more

Stopped by because it looked cute while in Youngstown. Liked the idea of a small business making awesome muffins and breads. Unfortunately, Maggie has no clue what she's doing. Egg sandwich is an abomination. Flavorless. Muffins are insanely sugary and plastic tasting. Literally threw away the food :( Don't make the same mistake as us -- keep driving. read more

Used to frequent in Austintown all the time. What bothers me the most is the HEALTH DEPT VIOLATIONS, those don't lie. Too many nice, clean places to spend my money. read more

Muffins are huge and so tasty. The case is filled with 40+ different flavors. One muffin is $2.75. A lot of flavors are names after Beatles songs. They have just about every combination you could think of. Today we tried apricot, strawberry streusel, all shook up, cinnamon girl and sugar cookie. Each one was delicious! read more

Delicious Large muffin and several flavors To choose from. Carrot and Banana or Peanut Butter and my favorites. read more

Incredible. Impeccable. Outstanding. The best muffins you'll ever have. The pistachio muffin had a lot of actual pistachios in it which gave it a wonderful texture. Coconut almond muffin was to die for, a heavier emphasis on the almond than the coconut. Cinnamon muffin was 10/10 as well, would pair well with coffee. Not quite as sweet as the others which was good too. Blueberry muffin had a cheesecake filling which yes, you guessed it, was incredible. Highly recommend this place. read more

I wish wish wish we had these kind of specialty muffin shops in California. I mean seriously anywhere. Because I'd totally be there every day. Whenever we visit the family we have to stop here at least once or twice. So good. The service can be kinda rude (especially the older lady) but the food is delicious. This was the first time she assisted us, but it was very off-putting. Especially when she castigated a newer employee right in front of us. Big no-no. Other than that I'll be back. read more

Maggies Magic Muffins - Muffin Mania! - Bakeries Near Me - Boardman, Ohio

It's creepy, smells like old people and the muffins aren't very magical, making me put 85 characters is dumb

The absolute best muffins! Always baked fresh with a very very large variety of flavors. The muffins are huge. Such a hidden gem and a cozy little atmosphere. Weekly customer for many years! Get there early because they sell fast read more

Such a cute tucked away bakery with AMAZING looking muffins! Theyre HUGE and we'll worth the cost!! I stopped by to get a half a dozen to take home for family to try and there were so many amazing flavors to pick from! The shop itself is so unique and cute! Highly recommend to try! read more

The amount of love I feel for this place is out of this world. I had my first Maggie's Magic Muffin back in 2008, I was visiting Ohio and was brought here because I "HAD" to try them! I was a bit skeptical, I'm not a huge muffin fan to begin with, but was the hype really worth it? Why did I HAVE to try these muffins?? Why couldn't we just go to the grocery store and get some muffins?? I'll tell you why! Maggie's Magic Muffins are by far THE most amazing muffins you'll ever have, they're fresh, moist, and so damn good! We went there three other times during my visit. My absolute favorite is the sugar cookie one. My last time in Ohio was in 2011, I got a whole box of muffins for the long 11 hour drive home, they didn't make it past the Pennsylvania border. Since then, I've had friends bring me Maggie's on planes, trains and through the mail! The most special was for my 30th birthday, our friend Jayme sent two sugar cookie muffins with candles to stick in them once they arrived! If you've never been here, GO! NOW! read more

Maggies Magic Muffins - Sent from OH to NH for my 30th bday! - Bakeries Near Me - Boardman, Ohio

The biggest muffins I have ever eaten! My kids love going here too. There are so many fresh baked varieties.

Their muffins are great although they don't have as large of selection as they used to have. A dozen muffins here costs way more than a dozen of donuts somewhere else, but they are definitely more filling than a donut. read more

The muffins are by far the biggest and the best since I was in Canada hands down delicious!! The service was nice very nice people the ambiance reminded me of like an old bed and breakfast place very quaint and cute ! I personally felt the muffins are overpriced yes delicious and qualities but pricey when you would like to grab a dozen or half a dozen and say wow it's great for a treat occasionally and definitely worth it read more

Holy muffin heaven. My friend and I stopped by on recommendation for things to do as we were in town for a friend's wedding. We were really intrigued by the muffins. Let me say, I'm a cake gal and these fit right in. The carrot cake was by far my favorite between the 3 we got. It was sweet, a little less dense, and overall I couldn't stop eating it. I really wish we had these in CA or NY. The woman working was also really sweet and funny. She didn't have the red bell peppers for the breakfast wrap so she helped us customize another breakfast (I got a different wrap and my friend got a bagel sandwich). While it wasn't mind blowing, it was downright simple and inexpensive. I'd stop by for a unique treat if you're in town! read more

I have visited Maggie's Magic Muffins many times over the years. I love their unique selection of muffins! The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because more recently there has been a decline in customer service, consistency, and availability. The last few times I have visited were definitely not as great as past visits. I wish that the muffins were more consistent like they used to be. There also have not been many flavors available in my more recent visits. Aside from these issues, the food offerings are one of a kind and definitely worth trying! read more

I thought we were coming upon your typical store front, but no. Instead, this was a quaint little home with a couch, table and chairs. Lots and lots of muffins to choose from. Friendly service, easy parking. I tried the chocolate chip muffin. Delicious, moist, dense, good chocolate chips. Everything you want in a muffin really. It had a hint of surgar on top that may have added to the slight crisp muffin top, but it really didn't need it. The texture was really kind of perfect though. My brother and his girl got different chocolate muffins, both exceptionally good however, i did notice the cocoa is kinda light in both chocolate muffins. Still good, but would have liked them to have a deeper chocolate taste. Overall very good read more

Maggies Magic Muffins - It's tucked back into an industrial area. But creepy in a Hansel and Gretel way. - Bakeries Near Me - Boardman, Ohio

Maggie's is great! What else can you say, but best muffins in town! They also serve hot sandwiches and soups for lunch, which are also excellent. They also have great coffee to go along with the fantastic muffins. This place is awesome! read more

The best muffins EVER. Seriously any flavor you get will be the best muffin you've ever had! My favorite is the chocolate chip and Oreo!! I order these for any occasion or gift no doubt! read more

I would love to give Maggie's five stars but the only thing keeping me from that is the service. It was lacking. I spent a lot of time listening to the staff's conversations instead of being waited on. There was no attempt to keep thier conversation quiet due to customers. But the important part: the muffins!! I had always heard of Maggie's Magic Muffins but never tried them until five years after I moved away from Youngstown. I tried the apple and spice muffin (I am sure it had a cute name that I cannot think of right now) and it was more than amazing! I wish I lived closer so I could try them all. Their selection was amazing, there were so many options it was hard to choose. I first passed up the Southern Blvd location, if you hit Maple Ave know that you've gone too far. Despite this somewhat distant location (it's not on the way to much), I really think Maggie's is worth the trip. read more

I LOVE their muffins! Everything is always fresh and so good! The staff is always so friendly and helpful, i absolutely love going here! I highly recommend this to anyone, even for a party or business meeting! read more

This is a wonderful little muffin shop. Always great service and the muffins are outstanding. My personal favorite is the Tom Thumb Blues (Blueberry) Muffin. It is the best blueberry muffin that I've ever had. As far as the sandwiches go, I've only ever had the Turkey Sub and I really enjoyed it. The roll was fantastic and the turkey was fresh. read more

Best muffins in all of Boardman!! These muffins are truly magical. They are huge. You definitely won't be able to finish in one sitting. Banana walnut and Raspberry cheesecake are my favorite but you really can't go wrong with any one you pick. They also serve a variety of coffee drinks and other breakfast items if you don't have a sweet tooth. The Boardman location is tucked away in a little unassuming house. It is a very cozy and cute spot. Can't accommodate many people at once inside or with parking. Highly recommend. read more

I work for a local business and we take Maggie's Muffins to some of our larger customers. I brought a dozen to Maryland and they were going to have them at a staff meeting. I've driven past this shop in Austintown for many years, today I decided to pop in and try one. I will give them high marks for cleanliness but that's about it. The muffin was very big, but totally lacking in flavor. The staff working were very short and almost rude. I will not be returning or recommending this place. read more

I was looking through my reviews and I realized that I never went back here to comment on the muffins. They are fantastic, they are huge, and they stay fresh for a while. I may or may not have left one in my car for little less than a week and it still tasted amazing later on. read more

The fact that the muffins are more cake than muffin notwithstanding... I love this place!! Every time I visit my grandparents in Boardman, we get a box of six and frequent for coffee and tea. Maggie's is definitely a favorite- prices are reasonable, service is quick and friendly, and the muffins are outstanding! read more

Their muffins are great! Selection wonderful. I had good service. The worker and i actually carried on a conversation. Maybe the other reviewers caught them on a bad day??? read more

It's ok muffins aren't all that people say they are Perkins Restaurant muffins are better and cheaper. This place is a bit pricey

I go to Maggie's Magic Muffins at least once a week. The muffins are gigantic, seriously, biggest muffins I've ever seen. And they have all kinds of awesome flavors from the original blueberry and banana nut to the new and exciting pumpkin cheesecake and peaches and cream. The muffins all have cool names too, mostly from classic rock (my favorite is the Miss American Pie-an apple and cinnamon muffin with real apple chunks baked in). Then on top of the amazing muffins, they have great coffee and specialty drinks. I had an awesome vanilla latte the other day, it was so big I couldn't even finish it! And the lunch options...oh my goodness. Great, inventive sandwiches and salads. My favorite salad-Maggie's Salad. It's greens, bleu cheese, cheddar cheese, fresh veggies in season (mine had tomatoes, roasted red peppers, cucumbers), a scoop of homeade egg salad, and their own homeade tuna vinagrette. The paninis are so good too. It's really great, fast, and cheap. You can also order baskets of their muffins ranging in price from $27 to $120 (that's the Presidential basket...it's huge!) and they deliver or ship. I sent one back home to my mom; she got it 2 days after I ordered it, and said the muffins were soft, moist, and fresh, like they'd just been baked. I love Maggie's! read more

The muffins are the biggest, tastiest muffins I ever ate (so many flavors, carrot cake is my favorite). I actually came across Maggies when I moved to the area about four years ago.....someone who knew I had a sweet tooth mentioned how delicious Maggies muffins were; so I went & after I took one bite I really felt that there could be no better tasting muffins, really these are amazing!! Cute little place, I have had lunch there a couple times. For the people who live locally and never have been there--you have no idea what you are missing,,,,this is a place that you should not be driving by; you need to brake for this place!! read more
