I was called by Travel Associates asking if I wanted to sell my timeshare in Mexico, they mentioned…read morethat they had a buyer with the funds deposited into escrow already, I was weary at first but after researching the company's credentials and speaking to my attorney, I signed their guaranteed contract. My closing date was scheduled a month ahead, they told me that it would take from 30-45 days to receive my funds since closing was in mexico. I owed about $1,600 to my resort in maintenance fees but the young man that helped me got it deducted from my main offer. I was informed as well that I could deposit that money into the escrow company so that in case the deal didn't go through I could get my money returned. One problem I did have was that I had to wait a bit longer than they told me in selling my timeshare because the buyer had issues with the mexican government but that was resolved. Overall I was able to sell my timeshare after 2 months or so. Although it was a new experience this company really did help and was friendly in answering any of my questions. :) P.S. I called my resort before I singed their contract and they said that this company was a scam. I called them back, turns out my resort says that every company is a scam and then they asked if I wanted to upgrade my membership or why wasn't I satisfied with my membership. I DO RECOMMEND YOU INVESTIGATE EVERY COMPANY THAT YOU DO BUSINESS WITH!!

Our most recent experience with Travel Associates (TA) was a disaster and we won't do business with…read morethem again. The disaster was a trip to Placencia, Belize for a family retreat with six adults and five children. The supposed "first class" waterfront resort they booked for us was anything but first class. The resort had changed owners several years ago and was in a state of significant disrepair. The resort was not in any way appropriate or desirable for a family retreat. Prior to this trip, we had years of excellent service with Pat Kreuger at TA - our total spending was well into six figures. We understand that mistakes can be made but when your travel agency refuses to accept financial responsibility for its mistakes it's unacceptable and offensive. Pat made little effort to reconcile our dispute so we escalated our complaint to Ombler Warwick, USA General Manager at Travel Associates. Omber offered us a $500 credtt towards future travel with TA - a credit worth less than 1 % of what we spent on the trip ! In full disclosure, a secondary travel agency that TA engaged for the lodging arrangements did refund us $1,000 directly, independent of TA's non- resolution of our dispute. Also, In fairness to the staff at the resort, once they realized how disappointed we were, they went out of their way to try to accommodate us.

I'm giving this 2 stars. Ignorance from people on this bus (not companies fault; but they need to…read moreenforce rules) and forcing people for tip. Their site says, "tip is not mandatory" - but yet the lady on the bus wants it. Her response is, "will you be giving tip now or later?"n My wife and I thought paying $15 for coupons and such is really cheap for a day trip. It's not. Greyhound is cheaper and offers the same thing. They go around Quincy (a few stops). In my opinion, they need only one stop for Quincy. We went to 3. Waste of time. And was finally on the highway to go to Foxwoods an hour later. The bus doesn't have rules and the people in front of us talks really loud and will use their phones with speakers on as their having a conversation. I know it's not the companies fault for ignorant people; but they need rules. As for not planning and we randomly wanted to go after we woke up, we called and the lady on the phone was really nice and answered our questions professionally. The lady on the bus is really nice too (better if she didn't ask for tip). Upon leaving, she expects $2 a person for tip. First and last time on here.

They offer a ton of discounts for various services, insurance and collaborative partners. They also help do passport expedition. I booked two tickets with Deborah Louissaint, who claimed to be a travel agent. After paying for the tickets, I never received any confirmations until the day before I was supposed to travel. When I received the confirmation, it was a PENDING confirmation for a one-way ticket, not even a confirmation, plus it was for the wrong date. After multiple attempts to reach her, she eventually called me back and told me that she would not get me the tickets because I kept pestering her about getting the confirmation that I paid her for. She then told me I need to find my own way there. She told me she would return my money in 3 business days. It's now been over two weeks, no money and no contact. I came to the realization that this woman is running a business on a hookup with the airline, and she's selling STANDBY tickets, which I'm certain is illegal.

I have been on yelp since 2015 yet I have never felt more pushed to write a review about this…read morefraudulent business. it is truly terrible how someone thinks a business can be operated by scamming others and thinks this is acceptable. Before paying her last year, she pressured me so much to send her my money saying if I did not I would miss out on the deal. Pretty much within a day of inquiring about a trip the pressure started to begin. it is now that I realized  after reading these reviews, that she felt so compelled to pressure me because she had to pay back someone else who was promised a refund or book their flight as she probably spent that person's money. This is quite a vicious cycle. I too, never received an itinerary about my trip. Just a cancellation with an explanation that actually made no sense. Whenever I asked is my flight even booked, she simply told me it was booked and that I did not need to worry because I can "trust her." Now, over a year later, here I am, still not refunded from the trip I never went on. please do yourself a favor and RUN and do this as fast as you can!!
