You're much better off buying from a major retailer with decent communication and reasonable return policies. It gets worse: even after I reached a resolution with them and they agreed to issue a refund, they never did. I had to dispute the charge with my bank, and it took months. They say they will return your money, but they count on you forgetting, and they simply never follow through. Honestly, the only reason to shop there is if you're absolutely desperate and can't find the item anywhere else, and even then, only if you're completely sure you won't change your mind or need to cancel, even before delivery.

We were immediately stopped by Zana and were told that it was company policy to follow around customers to help them browse. We thought this policy was invasive and didn't allow us to freely shop and consider our options. We also saw other people shopping freely without a chaperone so we felt targeted. She even told us that she thought we were teenagers when we revealed we are in our 30s with a child. She also kept talking about financing options if we didn't have the funds to purchase. We felt very awkward and ended up leaving without purchasing anything even though we need basically everything for our new apartment. Ashley Furniture should really reconsider this store policy (if it's true). I have a feeling she just wanted the commission and lied about the policy because we were the only ones being followed around.
