Liz is the reason I keep coming back! I've been a semi-regular for the last 5+ years, and this…read morespot is consistently awesome for several reasons: 1. The hookah is GOOD. Their Sub Zero flavor is my favorite as a mint-lover, and I never feel like I'm waiting on coals. 2. Liz is an absolutely wonderful bartender. She's super sweet, personable, and always on her game no matter how busy it is (and this place gets BUSY - for good reason!) 3. The food is 10/10. Literally everything I've gotten here is so delicious. Their happy hour menu is a steal but my favorites are the chicken shawarma or shish kofta with extra veggies. 4. The vibes are immaculate. They have a DJ on Fridays, and it's the perfect balance of chill/party atmosphere. I've honestly never had a bad experience here, and that's why I keep coming back. Truly a gem on the southwest side of town whether you're flying solo or out with friends!

Stopped by this hookah lounge on a Monday and it was a cool little spot. It wasn't overly packed,…read morewhich made for a nice, chill vibe. I also liked that they stay open late, so it's a good low-key option if you're looking for somewhere to hang out after most places have closed. I didn't try the hookah or the food, so I can't speak on those, but aesthetically the place was nice and had a good atmosphere. They were playing good music all night, and the workers were friendly and welcoming. The only thing that threw me off was the bar. The prices felt like Strip prices, but the experience didn't. Having to pay separately for a canister of cranberry juice as a chaser and then getting the shot in one of those little ounce-sized sauce cups instead of an actual shot glass just made it feel cheap. That was honestly the biggest downside for me. I'm sure the vibes are different on the weekends when it's packed, but at the end of the day, the prices are still the prices. Even if the atmosphere is crazy packed that part of the experience wouldn't change for me. As of now, it probably wouldn't be my first choice, and I honestly don't see myself coming back unless there's an event or something specific going on.

Our server was SO sweet and nice! She checked on us several times and made sure we had everything we needed. My Paloma was delicious! Not overly sweet, and had kind of a sweet and spicy rim. Our wings and fries were great as well- piping hot, wings were meaty, and we got tons of fries. This could definitely be a great spot for a group, because they have lots of specials. One of my friends tried the pizza and he wasn't a fan. Drinks were on point and it was the owners birthday so we had shots cake and more shots lol. When I say you'll enjoy Old Skool, you won't be disappointed. It took maybe an hour for our hookah & food to come out which food didn't bother us much. However the hookah taking that long was wild. Come to find out our waitress didn't put it in. The owner came and apologized and gave us a few shots. The hookah However was clean tasting, smooth and honestly the presentation was worth the wait. The other negative here which didnt impact my rating was our waitress. She barely came to the table, we dabbed up the owner more times than we saw our waitress. She missed things we ordered but again the owner was a G and he took care of us. Overall great experience and I would definitely be back my next visit. This was an entire vibe and made our night.

Service was really slow- we had to wait awhile for our table to be cleaned off, for our orders to be taken, for food and drinks and hookah to be delivered. Drinks were okay, not great. We ordered chips with salsa, pico, and guacamole. The salsa was terrible- thin, watery, little flavor. The pico was just chopped onions! We had to ask for a side of tomato so we could basically make our own pico (it didn't work lol). The chips were great though. The hookah was again, just okay. Didn't taste the freshest and our server didn't even test it for us (she did at the next table so I'm not sure what was up with that). All that said, we'd give them another try because it was a good atmosphere. The photo op at the entrance was a nice touch!
