I have never hired a cleaning company before and was hesitant. I have done my own cleaning. I recognized that it was time for a deep clean. After researching other cleaning companies. I chose Magda. After speaking with Alex (one of the owners) of Magda cleaning company. He toured my home. Gave me an estimate and a few hours later he gave me a firm price which I accepted. The following week, they arrived on time with a crew of 3 plus Alex. They wasted no time in getting to work. They departed in 5.5 hours. I thought that was amazing. No shortcuts. I trusted them in my home. Bottom line. I have zero hesitation in saying that the cleaning experience was above and beyond what I expected. Alex has an eye for detail that is impressive. The crew were very hard workers, pleasant, polite, efficient and trustworthy. I have no regrets and I experienced tons of happiness post cleaning, because of hiring them. read more

I could not be happier with Alex and his team at Magda. My mother's home needed a really intense deep clean that took 6 people 6 hours and it was incredible how sparking and thorough they were. Alex responded immediately to my request and came out right away to give a free quote. Worth every penny. And now his team is scheduled to come monthly moving forward. read more

Hired Magda House Cleaning for a deep clean. They went the extra mile and got some spots I hadn't thought about. I didn't realize how detail they would be with dusting and had to ask not to worry about my desk. We asked them to use different floor cleaning liquid to be safer for our crawling baby. They were happy to oblige. Cleaned inside the oven looked as good as new. They arrived promplty. Would definitely hire again! read more

I recently hired Magda to do a deep clean of my parents' house, after they were recommended to me by a friend, who said they do a great job and also have insurance, which apparently not all cleaning services have. I contacted Alex, who responded promptly and came to the house for a walk-through and an estimate. The price was very reasonable. On the day of the clean, Alex and his team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and were very thorough. Appliances like the oven, microwave, and dishwasher -- all weathered from years of use -- are all now sparkling clean. They even did some things we weren't expecting, such as dusting all the light fixtures. By the time they finished, the cleanliness of the house was like night and day. My parents were both very impressed, as they had never used a professional cleaning service before -- the whole experience was a real revelation for them. We plan to continue using Magda for routine monthly maintenance and I strongly recommend them. read more

We hired Alex and his team for a thorough deep cleaning of our home. They paid great attention to detail and took the upmost care in performing the tasks at hand. Over the course of two days, they were able to transform the entire space back to its original splendor. We were in absolute awe to see our home restored to its once original beauty. Words cannot express the thankfulness and appreciation for all of the time and effort that was devoted by Alex and his amazing team to this job. We will continue to utilize this company in the future and feel confident in encouraging you to hire them as well. read more

I have been using Magda House Cleaning for four years and recommend to all my friends looking for a cleaning service. They absolutely go the extra mile and consistently do an amazing job. There is nothing that they miss! Have it down to a science and do the best job out of any cleaning service I have ever had. read more

If you are looking for an expensive one-time cleaning, this is probably your place. Trying to use them as my regular housekeeper was stressful. Alex cleans well, but does not have a warm or friendly personality. They make it very clear they want you to leave or not anywhere near the space they are working. It is hard to schedule with them. They frequently rescheduled on me (moving to different days, coming several hours early or late without verifying it was okay) but the one time I asked if we could reschedule he never responded to any of my messages again. They will not accommodate any special requests. Even as simple as "please do not open these windows, there are holes in the screen" or asking them to not drag my furniture across my hardwood floors. When Alex doesn't come the work is not as good. read more

I had a great experience with Magda House Cleaning! Alex did a quick evaluation of my home in Peabody and gave me a very reasonable quote. His team was available on the date that I needed and they did a phenomenal job in every room. The communication with the business owner was fantastic and after seeing what a great job they did I definitely scheduled for a regular cleaning. read more

I contacted this company based on the prior Yelp review and the company's proximity to my Lynnfield location. I was hoping for a clean prior to a large party I was hosting on Saturday afternoon. Alex came to my house a few days before my party to give me a free estimate. He only stayed a few minutes but was able to come up with a very fair price for two living areas, one kitchen, two bathrooms and a stairway. He and his crew of two others cleaned my house for 2.5 hours on a Saturday morning. This was so much more than a superficial clean. They dusted/cleaned EVERYTHING, removed dog hair, wiped down the walls, moved furniture to clean behind, etc. My bathrooms were sparkling. So much better and deeper than I've ever done. The house was sparkling by the time guests started to arrive. I was so pleased with the results. Will definitely be contacting them for subsequent house cleanings! read more

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Alex and his team are AMAZING. Incredibly professional, punctual, and Alex always answered my texts promptly. We hired Magda's to do a move-in cleaning to a house that was sadly unkempt for years. We just moved in today, and everytime I open a cabinet, fridge, closet, they are impeccable. It's a huge sigh of reflef bc this would have taken me so long to do on my own, and with thanks to them a huge load is off my mind. They are very sensitive to your needs, and I can't wait to hire them again. Hire them, you won't regret it! read more

I hired this company for almost 5 years and dealt with Alex at first to give me my quote...I lived in Middleton at the time,..I took them with me to my new home when I moved to Saugus..They sent 2 women bi-weekly...they would clean and do a good job. My price was $170 for a 4 bedroom house and they did come every time on time...Suddenly the women changed and I got different cleaners....and the NIGHTMARE began! I tipped them $40 always, hoping this would prompt them to do a good job. I would leave so not to be in their way until last week I stayed home. My Bath and Body warmers were always turned upside down with the oil dripping out of them all over hardwood floor! Ok, they probably had no idea what they were (you would hope they would see it and turn it around but NO)...Numerous times I have a recliner that is leather and so easy to just push out of the way...I would push it and see all the dust underneath...no one moved the chair to clean? Last but not least they came on Fridays...last Friday they broke a LeCreuset Salt shaker...not a big deal, accidents happen. I never even noticed it and NO ONE told me about it until I got a text from the owner on Sunday night showing a picture and asking me the "the cost to replace it"???? Wait...you broke it on Friday and don't tell me until Sunday night??? I lost all trust and honestly didn't want to deal with the laziness of the girls anymore. That same day, a younger cleaner was in my daughters basement apt.cleaning not knowing I was home and she was on her cell phone yelling and fighting ???with someone for over 20 minutes...how could you be cleaning if you are talking ??? Needless to say, after 5 years of Magda Cleaning....IM DONE!!! Found a much better company and I will expect at least to move the furniture around to clean instead of going around it! Find someone else...TRUST ME read more

Sparkling job! I have been in search for a house cleaning service, so I checked Yelp and was blown away by their amazing reviews. And they are a 5 star company! Alex, the owner, came to our home for an estimate. He gave me a fair price via text and we set up a day and time. Alex and 2 others were on time for cleaning day. They did a deep clean, as we discussed, and our home was super clean and sparkling! They cleaned thoroughly! I am so so impressed and happy with their service. My kitchen sink, window blinds, under the bed, and bathroom including the tub looks brand new! As well as everything else looks bright and CLEAN!! Thank you very much. Alex, we look forward to the next service. read more

I booked Magda House Cleaning for a deep clean of my 3 bedroom town house.Never used a cleaning service before,so was not sure what to expect. Called to get a quote,Alex showed up right on the time we agreed(which really impressed me!)and gave me a fair price for a "Full"top to bottom cleaning. Alex and a helper showed up(again right on time!)and spent about 4 1/2 hours literally scrubbing every surface of my house. When I say every surface, literally everything, including inside closets, cabinets, appliances, washer and dryer, trash cans, everything.I am totally impressed by the outstanding job they performed, and 100%recommend their company.I have been in this house almost 20 years, and cant believe how everything is literally "sparkling" read more

They are fantastic, and not expensive at all. The reviews I read mentioned the best cleaning at a higher price tag, I wanted excellent cleaning so I was happy to pay the higher price tag. They ended up quoting less than everyone else (given they were the only people to come tour the house before a quote). cleaned inside all light fixtures and in between the windows and screens (that was incredible). The days they come are the best days! read more

I had the same excellent experience as everyone else leaving good reviews. They did a fantastic job deep-cleaning our house at a reasonable price. They were reliable and VERY thorough. We will definitely use them again, either regularly or any time we need a deep clean. read more

Alex and his team are simply put, amazing. I was initially just looking to do a deep cleaning two years ago, and the quality of their work was so thorough, I was hooked. Yes, as someone mentioned, the initial cleaning fee can steep, but worth every penny. Rates after that are very comparable and competitive with other services out there. Alex has also been very accommodating and communicative if either one of us needed to reschedule. Highly recommend their services. read more

I needed a deep clean. 1700 square feet. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms. I called for a quote and Alex came out within a day. He was very thorough in the way he walked through the house and inspected surfaces like chair rails, banisters, and blinds and even the silk flowers! That sold me. I needed the cleaning in a hurry in advance of overnight guests, and Alex accommodated me, which I really appreciated. Three women arrived and got to work upstairs. When they say deep clean they mean it. Pulled furniture out, turned rugs up, cleaned EVERYTHING. My showers look brand new. The woman who worked in my kitchen worked magic on my microwave and gas stove top, removing stains I thought were permanent. Microwave looks brand new as well. Alex had quoted six hours, and he joined in for the last half hour or so and it was exactly six hours. I could not be happier. Have already set up my monthly schedule going forward. He may be a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. read more

Scheduling with this company was a challenge in the beginning. It took a long time for them to follow through after initial visit and pricing determined. They do clean very well and quickly. They were the most costly quote I received, but their cleaning is spot on. Their cleaning is a bit better when Alex is with them. He has an eye for detail! I give two stars because scheduling continued to be a struggle. They switched my cleaning day without asking if it would be ok with me, were inflexible with advance notice to come on an alternate day We had miscommunications around the holidays where my text asking if they were coming to clean went unanswered. They showed up and couldn't get in. Instead of accommodating their mistake, I had to wait 2 more weeks for my regular cleaning day to come around. We got snow last Thursday night into Friday. I texted at 830 to say I was digging out and the front door would be best for the to use. It was about 30 minutes later that I was told they wouldn't come because it had snowed. Indeed it had, but it was easy stuff to clear and the roads were fine come Morning. At any rate, I wasn't upset by this as Alex said he would find time the next week to come clean and he would let me know once he checked the schedule. He apologized and explained he had a. Ew baby and was busy helping his wife. I underwood that and expected a follow up and cleaning in the next week. I texted to inquire when he might be coming that next week. He replied he wasn't, he was to busy and would be in touch the next week. I said ok but I didn't want to wait til my regular day Friday as a month between cleanings was to long. There was no reply to this request. I texted this morning and he said he could only come on my regular day (Friday). I expressed my displeasure at his lack of commitment to his clients and his poor communication. Had he told me the day he chose not to clean due to snow it would be 2 weeks, I would have had time to find someone else or clean myself. As it stands now, I have no cleaner and leave for vacation. He left me high and dry without an option to make different arrangements. If this wasn't an established pattern, I would understand the snow and his personal family needs. But being that it is a pattern and the communication completely lacking I give 2 stars. I've lived all over the country and have found wonderful people to clean my home and who are dedicated to their clients. Folks who communicate when they can't come as scheduled and work to make up for that. This company cleans exceptionally well but could care about meeting their client needs or following through with commitments. When I asked Alex to clean as scheduled for me this Friday (because he left me without options to get it done otherwise) he refused stating that he was not comfortable because I expressed my dissatisfaction with his lack of commitment to me, his client. read more

Alex and his team did an incredible job. I had asked them for a deep clean of my boyfriends filthy horrendous apartment. They spent over 5 hours and the results were awesome. His Prices were really reasonable. I will definitely schedule biweekly cleanings. read more

I echo everything that's already been said! Alex's team has been gone less than an hour and I'm already writing this review because I was so impressed. The 3-person team really, truly did a deep clean. It was worth every penny. They were cognizant of the fact that we had just had the hardwood floors refinished, and made sure I was happy with each room in the house. There was a little bit of a language barrier with the team (not Alex), but nothing insurmountable. Alex was very communicative via text and confirmed beforehand. Wholeheartedly recommend! read more

Alex and his crew are amazing. We just moved into a rental house (in a freaking 3' snowstorm, after trekking 3,200 miles from Portland, OR) and I was in desperate need of someone to clean the bathroom and kitchen before I felt comfortable moving everything in (I'm talking ew! gross who's hair is that on the bathroom ceiling?!). I called him and he was able to come give me an estimate (insanely affordable!) the same day and scheduled the cleaning for the next morning. As a text-er I love being able to schedule and communicate such an easy way with Alex & crew. They did SUCH a fantastic job I've asked them to continue with a once monthly cleaning. I was nervous about hiring a new-to-me crew in a new-to-me city but I couldn't be happier that I found such a great company. Thank you!!! read more

I cannot say enough about Alex and Magda. They are reliable, they do a fantastic job, they are affordable. Everything you want in a cleaning company. I look forward to the days when they come over - the house looks like a different place when they are done! I could not recommend them more. read more

I have no idea how they get our house so clean. It's like magic. I used to think that I knew how to clean and that we were pretty tidy people, but Alex and Magda have taken it to a whole new level...and somehow our home has become the essence of a serene and relaxing space! I'm absolutely addicted to their services, especially because they are INCREDIBLY thorough. I'm talking wipe-down-the-bottom-of-our-nasty-recycling-bin thorough. Yes, the price for the initial deep cleaning is steep, but it is worth every penny. They work hard to get rid of any accumulated grime, and the place ends up being immaculate. They even make the beds and do a bit of tidying. They are also VERY responsive and communicative. I'm thrilled to have found them read more

Magda cleaners were great! A little expensive for the initial clean of my entire home but overall very good. They were good with my animals, although I'm pretty sure they all ran away and hid but still kind to them when they would come out of hiding. My house still smells fresh and clean when I walk in the front door. It appears as though they cleaned ALL the blinds throughout. That's amazing! I would rather buy new ones then clean them. But they did it. Most of the pet fur is gone and I don't feel like a piece of Velcro when I sit on my furniture. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the initial price. But, the bi weekly cleaning is more reasonably priced and because of that I will continue to have Magda come to my home. read more

I just booked Magda House cleaning for a deep clean for my house and my mothers house. Alex came and gave me an quote that I thought was fair. They came on time and did an absolutely outstanding job. They cleaned way more than we had discussed! They even scrubbed my garbage can. They went way above and beyond what I had expected. My mother is aging and her eyesight is not what it was..... So her house needed a little more TLC. Again WOW it is beautiful! Every rung of every chair and all spotless! Thank you Alex and your team! read more

Very disappointed after reading the reviews first off i called to set up a appointment for a estimate the person that showed up was not from this cleaning co, i know this because I was handed a card from a different company upon her arrival this made me uneasy. I get quoted a price for a initial deep clean which was high and managed to have her lower the price and I agreed to have it done. but then she immediately asked me if I wanted weekly/biweekly cleanings the price she gave me was very high so I said I'd have to think about it we are working people and there isn't much traffic and I keep up with my cleaning just not a fan of dusting. I think 120 every 2 weeks after a deep clean is too much for a house with 2 people that work full time, ended up canceling because they weren't willing to lower price which after they got into the initial clean they would have realized my house is easily a monthly job and a price could have been worked out. Basically if you aren't willing to do weekly/biweekly cleanings they really don't want to bother with you I did find other cleaners and they said your price is very high my house in new they explained because you must out source and get a cut of other cleaners hence the other cleaning co you referred so consumer beware!! You don't know who will be in your house read more

I recently moved into a new apartment that was in need of a good cleaning. I'm also expecting a baby soon and wanted to have a thoroughly clean place to bring the baby home to. I'm so glad I found Magda House Cleaning Services. They were very responsive and professional. They were able to do a walk-through and give me an estimate the next day and scheduled a deep cleaning for just two days after that. Three people spent multiple hours in my 2 bedroom apartment and they did an amazing job. My floors and stove are way cleaner than they were when I moved in... in fact, they're cleaner than I even thought they COULD be. The bathroom is sparkling and they even cleaned inside the fridge and oven. Some reviews have stated that they are very expensive, but I thought the price for a deep cleaning was very reasonable for this area (comparable to other quotes I got), especially considering the number of people and hours and the quality of work that they did. I also totally disagree that they're not "warm or friendly" as they certainly came across as kind, friendly people to me. I highly recommend this company. read more
