We feel very fortunate to have found and been able to work with dRemodeling to renovate our kitchen…read moreand 2 bathrooms. Throughout the process we have been struck by the craftsmanship, attention to detail, excellent level of communication and clear desire to make us happy ("we just want to see you smile") that we have experienced. All of the other 5 star reviews have aptly captured the experience that we did, so I will not go into as great detail as I normally would. The design process was easy - our designer asked pertinent questions that helped us hone our visions and thoughts into reality. We felt seen and heard, in terms of defining our wants, needs, finances, etc. Demolition was extremely fast, and the teams made sure to keep the house as clean as possible throughout the entire process. Each person who worked on our house demonstrated a dedication to quality, and whenever an issue arose, it was rapidly addressed and remedied. The workmanship is noteworthy. When it came down to the final punch list, and fixing the minor details (I tend to be fastidious and overly observant about the detail work), there was no issue, and the work was beautifully completed. The billing and payment process is comprehensive, very clearcut and very easy to understand and follow from the outset, which also made the experience seamless. I would like to mention that dRemodeling has a cleaning team that they have clean the areas that have not only been worked on but also impacted by the construction. We found that they are now offering the cleaning team as a separate service, called dReal Deal Clean. It was a no-brainer to sign up for future ongoing cleaning services, knowing that they have the same ownership, and high standards. We will unhesitatingly hire dRemodeling for any future remodeling needs.

I called several granite businesses in the area and All Marble was pretty much the least expensive. They were also recommended by a couple of friends. We drove down to the Admiral Wilson Blvd and dropped off the template I made. We were shown the pieces of marble we could choose from and we made our selection. In four days the piece was ready and I went back to pick it up. The marble fit correctly and all of the cuts and cut outs were correct. I would most likely use them again in the future for small jobs such as this. 4 Yelp stars

Inspected one day, fixed the next. 3) when our tub began leaking through the ceiling, he came SAME DAY and stopped leak, fixed the tub, patched and repainted the ceiling... ARGUMENTATIVE AND VERY JUVENILE!! I WAS SHOCKED!!! I WAS VERY SPECIFIC ABOUT WHAT I WANTED ... HE WAS NOT UP TO DATE ON A LOT OF MODERN DESIGN... Even trying to tell me certain things didn't exist until he would have to eat his words ... THE JOB ALSO WENT WAYYYY OVER THE SCHEDULE DATE TO HAVE FINISHED WHICH COST US MONEY ... He starting saying and doing things that weren't HONEST ... Like I said it started out well , but once he had to pay for MAJOR MISTAKES he got nasty and combative.... I wanted to give a black owned business a chance and boy did I regret doing that with THIS PARTICULAR BUSINESS.. This was a very very bad experience, our huge remodel eventually was done but I wouldn't wish what We went through to get there on anyone !

Well, they did, on the first try. Our new kitchen is a true show-stopper - enduring, bright, a fit for our 1890s home (all characteristics we requested), and a complement to our larger aesthetic. We are so glad we waited until we could work with Airy Kitchens instead of trying to design something on our own. We utilized Airy Kitchens' project management in addition to their design services. Kameron, Nancy, and the rest of the team took amazing care of our space while we weren't there and expertly handled the project overall - the most conscientiousness and talented team, bar none. When we bumped into a few issues none of us could have anticipated, they brought the utmost in professionalism and support. We are so grateful and enthusiastically recommend Airy Kitchens to anyone eager for a beautiful, custom kitchen or bathroom overseen by a lovely and talented group of individuals.

At some point the conflict between design and selling cabinets comes up. There are things in the design of our kitchen that are difficult to explain without the justification of selling another cabinet. We also had problems with measurements that were wrong. The cabinets were changed but this caused several weeks of delays. We also had a terrible experience with the contractor that they recommended, who wasted our time and money. He was working at a very slow pace and never brought qualified workers. They were a couple of teachers doin spare change during summer, an art school student, and a tile installer out of his depth. They were all nice people, by the way. But no the kind of workers you expect a contractor to bring to your house. We ended up with dozens of floor tiles with chipped borders and bathroom tiles that are crooked. The bathroom toilet moves to this day, they chipped the finish in the bathroom faucet, the laundry faucet is not well installed, some light switches were never installed.I also spent several weekends doing his work to try and speed up the work. I did painting and grouting. I helped to install the front door, the oven, and the fridge. I installed locks and handles. I cleaned every night and I disposed of trash. I can keep going but you get the picture. To be fair, the contractor does not work for Performance Kitchens. But he was recommended by Performance Kitchens

However, once we made the initial payment, the staging dates began to shift repeatedly. When the staging was eventually completed, it became clear that the space had not been properly planned for. It seemed like the furniture was selected without fully considering the layout of the home, which resulted in a disjointed final look. When we raised concerns, the response we received often felt dismissive, and responsibility was repeatedly shifted back to us. Over the following weeks, after multiple discussions, we were eventually able to get some of the furniture replaced. However, these delays pushed the project timeline back by nearly a month. As a result, the photographer was not able to come on schedule, and we missed the peak selling period of the season. To make matters worse, during the de-staging process, one of their team members accidentally removed or discarded the hardware for an expensive grill, causing additional damage estimated at several hundred dollars. Throughout the process, the Voila team largely denied responsibility for the issues raised. While they described their service as "premium staging," much of the furniture appeared low quality and inconsistent with that positioning. Overall, the delays, damages, and lack of accountability resulted in significant financial and timing losses on our end.
