    Chucaharon balaklak

Gave them a second chance and got the Chucharon balaklak this time. Very disappointed. Waited 20 mins for this and it's super oily and soft. Chucharon is typically crunchy. Definitely need to look for another Filipino spot! Sorry nothing here is Maganda!

This Philippino food truck park next to the Korean grocery store. It very convenient for shoppers and carry some food to go. The food is affordable. The menu is very simple. Chicken, pork belly, BBQ, and fried fish. I recommend fish if you know how to eat the fish with the bone. They do take out the bone as much as they can. This fish dish is the Daing Na Bangus. It is a milkfish fried to crispy. Love it with the rice. The second dish is the chicken inasal. This is marinated grilled chicken dish. Very delicious. Overall is about 4.5 stars. Stop by here is you shop at the grocery store

Congrats to this amazing new Filipino Food Truck that opened in Brandon, FL on February 3, 2024. I stumbled upon them in the Tampa Bay Asian Foodies FB, & immediately checked out their FB and IG. Today, they posted they had lumpia sariwa(which is a Filipino Fresh Roll.) This Filipino Dish is my Fave, can't find it everywhere, so I just couldn't pass it up. My order came with 3 and they are filled to the rim. I realized I didn't take a pic of it because I loved it so much, but u can see it on their FB and IG. They had at-home orders for some time in Brandon where they live, and decided on opening this food truck which is in the parking lot of Brandon Oriental Market. From what their FB says, they are there Friday through Monday, but definitely check their social media bc I see their times change. There is more info and pics on their FB from what I see. They also post their specials which are not on their menu. Here you will find the usual familiar staples like fried lumpia and adobo and pancit and Bbq sticks. Next time I'm all about ordering the bistec, chicken inasal, pancit palabok, & BBQ sticks. You can also make a meal deal too with apps - lumpia or siomai dumplings. My order was so good, and I can't wait to go back. When I was there, there were two other food trucks. - One was a Mexican and Salvadoran (Like Pupusas which I love), the other was a Mexican truck. The Hawaiian truck South Pacific Grill is only there on Sundays BTW 11-3. There's no seating here, but the two trucks next to it have seating. Definitely check them out for some awesome Filipino food in Brandon. You won't be disappointed with their friendly service and their delicious food!!

This food truck helped us find a really good Asian grocery store in Brandon as it sits in their parking lot. It's a typical food truck/stall serving the more popular Filipino dishes. The service is friendly and polite and the whole area is clean. The food is ok. The rice is fluffy. The bbq pork skewers tasted sweet but were not grilled. I like them grilled with charred edges. The siomai was soft but a little bland. The additional sauces helped a bit. Unfortunately there was nothing unique about the place. But that shouldn't stop you from trying it out. Go for it!

    Halo Halo

While leaving the market today, a sign of "halo halo" caught my eye and immediately drew me in! paired with the florida heat, it was extremely refreshing and the different textures of mixed chewy items was so fun! the flan was extremely delicate. very delicious! i will be back for this halo halo and to try more items. i highly recommend a halo halo on a summer day!

The dessert drink was absolutely delicious. I waited for the shaved ice to melt a little bit so I can drink some of it and all the little fruits in there and the beans were absolutely so fresh and I really love the Ube in there. I'm one of those type of people that like to custom my drinks and food so next time I would probably omit some of the fruits in there and either add extra Ube or extra ice cream or something like that if they allow it. The service was exceptional. The folks behind the counter were absolutely super sweet. I know they're Filipino, but I literally felt like I was in Hawaii. The service was so incredible. I felt like I was in paradise.

Like most other Filipino restaurants/cafe, there is a behind-the-counter, glass protected buffet at the forefront of the restaurant. From here, you can make your selections as you build your combination platter. The Filipiniana also offers a small section of baked goods and desert, while specializing in drinks such as Halo Halo and other Asian-curated beverages. Interesting to note that the Filipiniana offers catering in the kamayan style (simply put, a spread of various dishes over banana leaves to be shared by multiple people amd eaten with hands). However, they don't serve this in house/at the location - you will have to give advance notice (like with other caterers) to have this prepared. The Filipiniana is definitely a good spot to satiate your curiousity, explore, and discover Filipino cuisine!

I ordered the Pew Pew Shrimp - similar to a bang bang shrimp. The Heft - I love the texture of the scallion pancake and combo with the meat. It has a slight spice kick but not much. The Hangry Hawaiian - pineapple and roasted pork on this burger in addition to the burger patty. They also put jalapeños which I said no to. Haupia Pie - sweet potato like dessert with a crust and on top is a solid cream coconut layer. Texture is different. I loved it! Coco Loco ice cream - super creamy pina colada ice cream. My faves in order were: 1. Coco Loco ice cream 2. The Heft 3. Haupia pie 4. Pew Pew Shrimp 5. The Hangry Hawaiian burger Don't get me wrong! Every thing was excellent!! The owners were absolutely awesome!! Super welcoming and helpful and considerate of my time. They had tons of orders and were quite busy. I waited about 40 minutes. I would order ahead of time next time. Next time and there will be a next time, I want to get their Kilauea nachos, xxl ramen chicken, Haupia pie(which Haupia is a Japanese sweet potato - similar to Ube, a Filipino sweet potato used for desserts), coco loco ice cream(think super creamy pina colada ice cream) & scallion pancakes. Yes I loved it that much!!!

I'm a chronic over orderer and usually end up with a ton of leftovers. This time, however, as I sit here mouth breathing trying to muster another bite, I can't bring myself to packing the food up later. Its just too good! Hawaiian spring rolls have a perfectly crisp shell, filled with faintly smokey pork. The pork has a familiar taste, with a delicious pacific island flair. The HEFTT is option you can feel good about eating. The rice, beef, scallion pancake and sauce will leave you satisfied without feeling like you need to avoid food and spend the next week in the gym. The wings are awesome! Crisp, tender, juicy, fall off the bone kinda perfect. No extra sauces needed; eat as they are. Mild kick. The Hangry Hawaiian is the best burger I have had in a really long time! And I am always on the lookout for great burgers. I had beef, topped with pork, bacon, jalepenos and pineapple. Its an amazing combo of balanced, sweet heat. I loved it! (The fries were also really good) The haupia was a sweet, unexpected addition also. Its a buttery, graham cracker crust, layered with sweetened, purple sweet potato, the another layer of a coconut milk pudding. Places like this is the reason why I prefer food trucks and mom & pop spots over chains and big names. Happy Ending Food Truck lived up to its name. Good people, great food, big flavors! I will definitely be back for more!

They had shelves stocked to the hilt, with numerous brands offered. The produce and meat/seafood sections were well stocked as well. We left there with several spices and oils that have been difficult to find in standard grocery stores. Had we known beforehand that we would be patronizing the place we would have brought a cooler and picked up a few perishables, but since we were not returning home for several hours it just wasn't in the cards. The store was clean and they have a restroom for customers, both being pluses. If we can't find a decent Asian Market in the Lakeland / Winter Haven region this place will end up being our go-to, even though it is an hour away (without traffic hiccups).
