Ok face it, moving is very stressful. We were just moving from a condo to a house, less than a mile away. We had quite a bit of stuff but we packed most of them in boxes and taped/labeled each one prior to the movers arriving. Before you just hire any company, learn how to shop for a great moving company based on reviews, pricing, reputation and reliability. I started out by calling a few moving companies and writing down the names, phone numbers and detailed pricing they provided me. One company may seem lower priced based on the low quote they gave you, but then once you add in the surcharges and how they round up the per hour charges, it may end up costing more. Note, they all have different minimums (min amount of hours that they will charge you per move), travel surcharges, (covers the travel time to get the movers to your house and back to their home base), various per hour charges that vary based on whether you choose 2 movers, 3 movers and so on. (We always choose 3 movers as it will save you money). One company even tried to charge me additional for a dolly, I think it was $59 more! We hired a moving company verbally, then the company never answered their phones. I called them 2 days in a row, every 15 mins then got leary since our move was coming up quickly. So then I searched around and found Maestro Movers, thank goodness. The gentlemen that answered the phone, Joshua, was very professional, which was a shocker to me. Just call around to various places and you will see what I'm talking about. He was so nice, gave me upfront pricing, was able to accommodate my date, which was less than 3 days away, at that time, matched the other companies quote, plus my move covered everything: -26' box truck. (The other company had a 20' box truck) -tons of furniture pads, rolls of tape -multiple hand trucks & wheel dollies -3 very fast movers -plus they charge in 15 min increments, pro-rated, after my first 4 hours! Some places charge in 30 min or full hour increments. The movers were not slow at all. They were running back and forth as fast as they could go, trust me. We were watching that clock like a hawk. Everything was wrapped so nicely, to prevent dings and scratches. Give them a call, trust me, I probably called every reputable mover here in central FL and am 2000% happy that we chose them! I've probably moved more than most people and learned that you definitely want movers, over family and friends. Then the trouble is figuring out which movers... I searched many sites and I had experience with several movers in the past. A particularly popular one (a couple guys and a truck) had quoted me a very high number and they were high last time as well so I went shopping. Maestro had a great hourly rate, excellent reviews on many sites, and Josh was willing to work with me to use paypal for payment. The movers showed up on time, and got to work quickly. I did prepare well and got most of the breakables over via car so just the large items remained. The 3 man crew packed up my 2000 sq ft 4/3/2 plus den and living room house in just over 4 hours. That included disassembly of several large furniture items. They wrapped and took great care with all items, had plenty of furniture dollies and all the best equipment needed to perform such a move. They crammed the 26' truck to the very end. They took lunch (which I didn't have to pay for to my surprise) and showed up on time to the destination where they really worked so hard (it was difficult just keeping up with telling them where everything went) The reassembled all the furniture, put everything exactly where we wanted, and the kicker is we just had the new house painted, I couldn't find 1 mark on the furniture or walls as they, again took great care not to bump into anything. No insurance claims (although this is the reason to use professionals over friends and family as everything is covered) In the end they finished the entire move in about 6.5 hours + 1 hour travel time. I was quoted more than double by other movers and couldn't possible be happier. We are now enjoying our new home with all our items in the same condition they were in at the old home. I couldn't imagine there would be a better experience moving and would highly recommend Maestro if you want a happy ending to your move. Thanks everyone at Maestro!!! read more

I used Meastro movers after calling many different movers and not getting a direct answer on price. They were the only company I found that provided a flat rate and an hourly rate and let me choose what would work for my move. Josh was very straight forward, listened to all my concerns and provided excellent customer service. It was a very stress free experience from the beginning and the crew of three arrived on time and had a professional manner above any moving company I have ever moved with before. Jeff and his crew worked hard in the heat of August without one complaint moving quickly through the process of moving my things. They wrapped every item with care in no time at all. During the move it began to poor and they continue to work as if it was not an issue at all. They completed the job in less time then I was expecting in the pouring rain placing every piece of furniture where I wanted it without hesitation. In the end I was even more impressed with them when I realized I was missing a part to my dresser and called Josh the next day were they were able to locate the small wooden pieces that connect my mirror to my dresser. I offered to pay to have them shipped or delivered and Josh wouldn't have it! He continued with that excellent customer service I stated before and shipped the item to me at his cost as he felt it was his fault( even though it was an easy thing to overlook on a moving truck). I plan on using Meastro movers for all my future move and would recommend them to anyone! read more

We were extremely impressed with the entire Maestro process. To start, Josh came to the house to do a professional bid (as opposed to a guess from an online service). He explained how the furniture and art pieces would be protected and offered storage options since we did not know where we were moving to. On moving day Garret, Jeff, Jordan and Craig arrived on time and were amazingly pleasant and efficient. They did not sit around for even one minute. They knew exactly how to disassemble and wrap the furniture. Each mover had a role to play and executed it perfectly. The nicest thing about this crew was that they adapted with ease to complications with the storage facility. Imagine the aggravation of not having the elevator work when you are moving items into the second floor. No one said a peep. They just soldiered on and carried everything up the stairs! After six weeks our new home was ready and we requested the same crew for our move in. They did not disappoint. Arrived on time, put all the pieces in place and reassembled beds and other pieces. I recently purchased a home and utilized Maestro Movers to move my large furniture items from Winter Garden to Clermont. I am retired military, and I have moved numerous times in the past 35 years. Josh and his team at Maestro Movers are absolutely the best. This was by far the best move I've ever had. Before the move, Josh came to my house to do a walkthrough and give me an accurate estimate (not simply a rate quote), which was nearly 1/2 the cost of the estimate I was quoted by another local moving company. During the move, not one item was damaged. Josh and his crew (PJ, Keith, Michael, Nate, Nelson, and Brandon) were outstanding. They provided superior service and were very attentive, responsive, friendly, and professional at all times. I was very impressed with them. This is the best moving experience I have ever had. Not only did Maestro Movers say "yes" to my request for a next day appointment to move my piano from Plant City to Orlando, they faced mechanical adversity with a smile (I could hear it over the phone) and rescheduled for the very next business day! Josh, the owner, is prompt to respond, professional and extremely personable. He stays in touch with the delivery guys through every step of the move. The delivery guys are also very courteous and professional. They called me several times to let me know where they were, en route, and exactly when they would arrive. Though I had only scheduled them to move my baby grand piano (that's their specialty), I was so pleased with their personable staff and the care they used in relocating my piano, I canceled my appointment with another moving company the next day and used them instead. So glad I did! They came in an hour below their estimate and and two hours below the prior company's estimate. They were $5/hr. more, but more than made up for it in the total bill by the pace at which they worked. I had such a fantastic experience using maestro movers! I bought a couch online before I made plans to actually move it. I emailed them late on Friday night and had a response early Saturday morning. We made arrangements and agreed on time and price over the weekend. The crew was able to move a couch from one side of the city to the other on a Monday afternoon. The driver was so quick with communication. They arrived right on time for pick up and delivered at at the location exactly as expected. The crew was polite, helpful, and really funny- wonderful to work with! They handled a really expensive piece of furniture very delicately and professionally. I cannot recommend them more! read more

I had a piano I needed moved from St. Cloud to Orlando. Joshua from Maestro Movers was quick to respond and I ended up getting my piano moved in less than three days after contacting them. I had looked at other companies and was surprised that Maestro Movers, a professional piano moving company, were more affordable than some of the other moving companies I checked with and I'm glad I went with them. They also double checked the tuning on my upright piano and were incredibly friendly. This was our second move with Maestro Movers and I couldn't recommend them any higher for any moving needs. We always have unexpected problems but even the most challenging issues were resolved to make a super stressful situation somewhat bearable. All the guys that worked on our job were super professional and very careful with our furniture. Quote was on par with everywhere I checked, but Josh was so professional and friendly, it made my decision easy to go with them.
