I had hoped I would have a good experience at AMC, but I did not. My piano was described as rebuilt…read moreand "regulated for a performance piano--ready to perform." In actuality, I have had problems since delivery, and the owner (Brian) responded in the most unprofessional manner, including trying to gaslight me. My whippens should have been replaced. Brian said there were fine. (They were soda-blasted--that is all). I waited almost a year before having my piano regulated, as is recommended. But no regulation will "hold" because the whippens are too worn out. Fine regulation is simply not possible. I think they quickly got the piano into place before I tried it. It SEEMED fine when I was trying it in the store, but it was not after it was delivered to me. Also, the key bushings were described as new, but there were not. They had just been treated with Profelt. It wasn't long before the keys had a on of plan in them. Again, Brian acted like he was doing me a big favor in offered to cover half of the cost of rebushing. That was not enough. He should have covered the cost re replacement. Brian is not the nice guy he seemed at the beginning. He's a man who gets angry when you point out the problems, tries to make it seem like you're too picky (in other words, blames the victim), and fails to stand by his warranty as it is advertised. I have all the documentation for all of this, including his unprofessional emails. He should be paying for my replacement whippens.

When I came in to pick it up on that day around noon, I was told it wasn't serviced yet and to come back in an hour. I mafe it clear beforehand that this was for a birthday gift when I dropped it off. His only response was that a time was not written down. Regardless of a time, it should be ready by opening time on the day to be picked up. If only an hour is needed to service it, then 8 days should have been a sufficient time to complete it. Secondly, he was just playing around with a guitar when I came to pick it up. NOT HAPPY!
