If you are considering hiring Michael Melloh Company, do not make the mistake I did. They took my…read moremoney, performed sub-par and rushed work, ruined my ceiling finish, and completely abandoned the job when called out on it. They operate with zero professional ethics, zero accountability, and zero basic human courtesy. At first Michael was very responsive. He promised to come the same day I called, then failed to show up, blaming a truck issue and scaffolding keys. The next morning, they promised to arrive at 9:00 AM. They failed to show again, making excuses about scaffolding rentals. They finally arrived at 12pm--3 hours late on a job that was already delayed by a full day. Three crew members arrived, but only one individual actually worked on the ceiling. The other two stood around doing nothing for hours. One worker even left the job site for personal reasons for several hours while the single remaining worker rushed through the repair. Drywall repair requires proper drying time between taping, mudding, sanding, texturing, and painting. Instead of returning the following day to allow the materials to dry properly, they rushed the entire process in a few hours late at night. They worked until 11:00 PM in dim room lighting. I had already expressed my concern saying that the lighting was poor and it was hard to see any defaults during this time. The next morning in daylight, the terrible quality was obvious: 1. The ceiling was not sanded. 2. The texture was completely wrong and unevenly applied. 3. Tarps were installed improperly, leaving a mess. They explicitly promised to come back and correct any issues once seen in daylight. When I contacted them with photos of the defects, they delayed and canceled on me three separate times with more excuses. Eventually, they simply stopped responding altogether. They are reading my messages and deliberately ignoring them rather than correcting their work. What makes this behavior truly disgraceful is that my husband had just suffered a catastrophic 25-foot fall through the ceiling and was in critical care at the hospital. Michael and his team were fully aware of this crisis and knew I was constantly traveling back and forth to the hospital while trying to manage this repair. Rather than showing basic consideration or executing the job properly, they took advantage of a family in a crisis, did unacceptable work, and walked away with our money. This is not just about a bad experience. This is about paying for work that was not properly completed and then being ignored when asking the company to stand behind its work. At least have the decency and respond to my text messages Michael! This company lacks professionalism, skill, and integrity. Do not trust them with your home or your money. I would think twice and make sure you are comfortable with the possibility of being left with unfinished or unacceptable work and no response afterward. Based on my experience, I would NOT recommend Michael Melloh Company. I would not hire them again.

Electrical not finish upstairs, bathroom switch put in wrong place and not up to code. Can lights never wired and switches in bedroom not even connected. Missing ac covers, crushed duct work in attic from moving or adding vent. Baseboards not completed. Bathtub/flooring sealed. Ceiling not painted completely. Holes on ceiling not covered. Let's move to the stair case next, they used silicone caulking to secure the vinyl boarding to the stairs. Now stairs falling apart not to mention they didn't finish the stairway or the hole they left for plumbing in upstairs bath. Now let's move downstairs can lights not installed in the bedrooms and additional vent in master bedroom never installed . Also was suppose to move a vent never done. Holes in ceiling never fixed. The doorway to the bedroom not completed. Caulking in bathroom not done. Now let's visit the bathroom they tore apart painted half never finished installing bathtub after continuous excuses. Sink never finished cement wall board never installed, plumbing never done. Tile not installed and toilet not installed. Now the garage installed side door that's not working and was suppose to install beam in garage. Never happened. This job started on April 1 2025 and Steve and Brandon did show up most of the time until Steve got his last draw and promised they would be done in 2 weeks that was on August 25th they came 2 more times and a bunch of excuses on why they couldn't come back and finish. Last I heard on September 19 he and Brandon would be there Monday 22. That day came and went and still no sign or word from them. I paid them all there draws and material costs have all the canceled checks. But they skipped town. I have had an electrician come and fix the problems they left me with as well as an Ac person come and fix the problems Kova contracting left. I will be in the coming weeks. Have a plumber come and other trades to try and get the work done that I paid for already. So this is not a good review. I would post the other photos but apparently there is a limit
