The hardest part of the process is knowing it's time to get a divorce. Typically the second hardest is finding the best lawyer to represent you. Chris came highly (and I mean HIGHLY) recommended and I couldn't be happier. From our very first phone call, I knew I had made the right decision. I immediately felt relaxed; as if I was speaking to a best friend. Chris explained the process in such a way that was easy to understand, allowed me to ask questions (even the truly dumb ones), and made me feel at ease. Chris was sympathetic to my situation, built up my confidence, and made sure that any decision made was done so in partnership with his knowledge and advice. He initially told me he could ask for a dismissal since it was first violation in 6 years. I was told I received a deferral and that the ticket would be dismissed after. But then I was advised that I need to still enter a plea on it and claim nolo. Had I known that I needed to use up my nolo plea, I would have just gone to court and done that myself and gotten zero points. I didn't need to pay an attorney to do something I could have done for myself. I eventually had to go down to the court house in person to sort it out without the attorney, they told me I didn't need to make a plea. Which was even more confusing. I think if he just took 10 minutes to explain everything clearly it would have made this entire experience really different. The professionalism was lacking and the outcome left a lot to be desired. I also learned because they only take Zelle that there is no way to request a refund or dispute service like with a card payment so there is little recourse for clients if anything were to go south.
