If I could give no stars I would! Please pay attention to all the ONE STAR reviews on this person!…read more I think any reviews above that are suspiciousmay a bit "too glowing " and likely done by her friends or paid for by her! Megan Rogers is not a good attorney nor even a trustworthy one. In my opinion and likely many other clients opinions as well, she is basically a fraud and a very dishonest person. She took several thousand dollars (over 3k) as a retainer from me and never followed up, didn't do any work, only showed up for one short 30 minute of what was to be an hours' scheduled meeting, sent bogus made up billing statements for work not done, and then made excuses saying that she was "going through a rough divorce and custody battle with her ex" and "couldn't pay her rent so she needed the money!"... . She said that she needed my money to help with those costs and never returned my funds! Meanwhile she was taking her daughter to pony riding instruction! At the time she said that she was a family law attorney but now it seems she has gone into elder, estate, wills and probates! I can't recommend her and I'm surprised that she's even licensed to practice! Do not make a mistake like I did by trusting her! She still owes me over three thousand dollars! Her practice was a total farce! That was my experience. I would not be surprised if all the better reviews here were written by her friends! I truly cannot imagine that she would be competent to handle any sort of real legal work. Beware!

Megan recently assisted me with some clients that I am working with in order to sell a property…read morethey've inherited. The sellers were required to go through the probate process due to the fact that the death of their loved one was so recent. One of the clients had spoken with multiple attorneys and other real estate agents before I spoke with her, and she was under the impression that this was going to be a complicated and stressful process to get to the point of being able to sell. I assured her that Megan could assist in a significantly faster and less stressful fashion than the other agents and attorneys had proposed before this point. During the initial consultation with the seller/heir, Megan quickly identified the easiest way to pursue the probate process in order to legally convey this property to a new buyer. Within days Megan had a date (which also was very soon) that the seller was able to go to the court and have the probate obstacles removed. The remark I have heard most from this seller is how much Megan removed the stress and worry from this client. We greatly appreciate your help Megan and look forward to working with you again in the near future.

Anyone who has found themselves in the unfortunate…read moreposition of getting a divorce, do not look any further than Chris Villarreal of McFerrin & Zayed, PLLC. I'm sure I don't speak for myself when saying this, but there's a huge difference between giving up and knowing when you've had enough. The hardest part of the process is knowing it's time to get a divorce. Typically the second hardest is finding the best lawyer to represent you. Chris came highly (and I mean HIGHLY) recommended and I couldn't be happier. From our very first phone call, I knew I had made the right decision. I immediately felt relaxed; as if I was speaking to a best friend. Chris explained the process in such a way that was easy to understand, allowed me to ask questions (even the truly dumb ones), and made me feel at ease. Chris was sympathetic to my situation, built up my confidence, and made sure that any decision made was done so in partnership with his knowledge and advice. I never felt like I was being pushed one way or the other into a decision I wasn't comfortable with; I never EVER felt as if I was just a paycheck to him - I was a person first, and his client second. He was there when I needed reassurance or when I was scared. Jackie was there to answer questions and was swift to reply. I can't say enough about the whole experience. It was bad enough going through a divorce during one of the worst pandemics the country as ever experienced, but to reach the end in a better position then when I started is truly a testament to the quality of representation offered by McFerrin & Zayed - especially that of Chris Villarreal. Thank you from the bottom of my once broken, now whole, heart!

EDIT** I did not use a single swear word, his in the only one that did.**…read more I hired this guy after I got my first traffic ticket in 6 years. He initially told me he could ask for a dismissal since it was first violation in 6 years. I was told I received a deferral and that the ticket would be dismissed after. But then I was advised that I need to still enter a plea on it and claim nolo. Had I known that I needed to use up my nolo plea, I would have just gone to court and done that myself and gotten zero points. I didn't need to pay an attorney to do something I could have done for myself. I eventually had to go down to the court house in person to sort it out without the attorney, they told me I didn't need to make a plea. Which was even more confusing. I think if he just took 10 minutes to explain everything clearly it would have made this entire experience really different. The professionalism was lacking and the outcome left a lot to be desired. I also learned because they only take Zelle that there is no way to request a refund or dispute service like with a card payment so there is little recourse for clients if anything were to go south.
