If you look for a place "to rough it", this ain't it The ambiance, decor & hospitality, combined with lovely art, thoughtfulness, this gigantic loft has it ALL. The owners helped us secure a return ferry trip, just were nicely involved in opening up Orcas Island to us for a two-day trip & we're just real approachable. Just an outstanding place & incredible accommodations. Looking at the pics, one may think they are staged! Nope, this is the real deal ... charming, uplifting, carefree, just lovely. Madrona Suite is an "Absolute Oasis" even in January! The time of year you visit, need not matter. TLC and respite from caregiving responsibilities is what I was searching for. The warmth and thoughtfully curated accommodations created the calm my daughter and I were seeking, only to be matched by the natural beauty and view just outside your door. The perfect location for a personal reset. The experience felt for me like being wrapped in a cashmere blanket. The warmth I needed.
