Very colorful and had some "nice modern twist " of old fashioned regular play ground activities. I love that most if not all the children were being watched by parents, grandparents etc. my nephew loved the big slides and rock climbing mountain. I got so much joy from watching all the kids play. Nice seeing them be kids instead of playing video games.

Kobie and I walked the park this morning even though it was completely packed with littles here to play sports and there was a couple of birthday parties about to start . Kobie- Star and I enjoyed the Rose Garden walk it's my favorite area to walk as it was with Sadie , so many smells for the pups to sniff and pics moments . Kobie- Star had to check everything out and she got a few ( how cute you can tell she is a pup exploring everything ) !! Kobie-Star had to check out every path and every wall. We then walked the park and by then she was tired . This park has everything, paths , roses , shade trees everywhere, bathrooms , party areas , great adventure areas for kids to play on , great sport fields . Parking is plentiful but in a day like today parking was crazy , in fact a lady was so inpatient she couldn't wait for me to completely park my car before she started backing in to the spot behind me , I had to honk my horn a few times as I almost hit her and did she care or say I'm Sorry , NOPE !! The people in the car next to me said , that was a close one - I said I know thank goodness I am a defensive driver ugh ! That spot was not going any where lady Patience is a virtue . Sad she had 5 little girls in her car they were there for sports ( next time take an extra 1 min ) plus $$$$ it could have cost her an hour or more had she hit me !! This urban trail, which runs along Oso Creek for a couple of miles, has several entrances along…read morethe route. We entered at the south trailhead on Marguerite Parkway next to Del Taco. The path itself was paved for the first mile or so and then became dirt/sawdust. While the trail runs behind and below shopping centers and housing, you never really see much of the structures. We walked a good chunk of the trail to the Peace Obelisk and then turned around and went back to where we parked in a shopping center, which was approximately a 4-mile round trip. It was a good walk on a Saturday afternoon. There weren't a whole lot of people to be seen on our walk; a few families, dog walkers, a couple of joggers, a couple of bicyclists. The entire path is an easy walk and mostly flat. Again, there are several entrances to the trail and there are actually 2 separate parallel trails on either side of the creek. This is a great place to spend a little time in nature while still being in the middle of Mission Viejo.
